My family has been seeing A doctor there for over 30 years, and I feel that the treatment we recently received is wrong. On the day in question, my daughter was in significant distress, having been up all-night crying with what turned out to be an ear infection. I called the office early to request an appointment and was told the earliest available time was 11:30 a.m., which conflicted with my 9 am work schedule. When I arrived at the office, the staff repeatedly offered later appointments -- first 12 p.m., then 12:30, then 12:45 -- even though they knew my daughter was in pain. It felt as if the staff was playing with my daughter's health, and the staff member smirked during the conversation. After multiple attempts, the appointment was finally set for 10 a.m., but this entire situation caused unnecessary stress. After the diagnosis, I was told the prescription was sent to the pharmacy, but it took three to four hours before it arrived, leaving my daughter in pain during that time. Recently, I found out that an insurance company informed me the office is letting us go due to "disruptive behavior." I do not feel that advocating for my child's care should be considered disruptive, especially when the office was not taking proper steps to ensure her timely treatment. After I spoke to the office manager, Jessica, she informed me that what I was saying did not happen and that "this doesn't happen at this practice." To my surprise, I received a 30-day notice to find a new pediatrician without any explanation. I have since learned that the treating physician did not authorize this dismissal. I believe the office targeted my daughter due to discriminatory reasons because I advocate for my child's care. This is deeply concerning, and I request a formal review of these incidents. I expect Allied Physicians Group to ensure patient care is never compromised due to administrative decisions. If you could please provide a written response explaining how this situation is being addressed, and why the dismissal occurred without the treating physician's authorization, I would really appreciate it . Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response. p.s I will be taking legal action

We're almost always seen right at our scheduled appointment time (or even early). I wish we had chosen Happy & Healthy from the beginning, but glad we made the switch when we did, as we now have a lifelong relationship with the practice. The staff at Happy & Healthy have been absolutely wonderful. So much so that we've recommended Dr. Rubin & her team to many other families. The staff are kind, caring, compassionate, and many of them parents themselves, so they truly understand and are able to answer effectively any questions you have about your child's care. No question is too ridiculous - they never make you feel bad for asking anything and are very clear when answering your questions. They even have a wealth of resources on their website, which I often find myself sharing with other parent friends that don't even live in the area but are looking for some sound medical advice from a professional. (probiotic info sheet FTW) I'm writing this review now, after having to bring my child in last week for a checkup as they were feeling unwell. We saw Dr. Reich and it was our first time seeing her. She came into the office and without me even saying anything, she knew about my child's medical history - I appreciate the fact that she looked at my child's chart in advance - it was as if she's known us this entire time. Dr. Reich actually just called me to follow up and see how my child was feeling now. Having this level of care and service is so appreciated. I would recommend this practice to anyone that is looking for quality care with a caring team of professionals. Thank you Dr. Rubin & team for all that you do! You're the best!

The practice has been MORE than safe with COVID. They have you wait in the car until they are ready and have different hours for sick and non-sick patients as well as newborns. We have always felt safe each time we have arrived. The dr.'s rotate which we are perfectly fine with. Dr's. Abrons, Eskander, and Shearer are all extremely smart, confident and know what they are doing. We are fine with any of them and have no issues. Further more, I like how you can contact them 24/7 with issues and they don't make you feel silly when you are potentially asking something that might come off as "dumb". They all seem to operate under it's better to be safe than sorry! Lastly, I like that we have had some zoom calls during the pandemic. My little fella got conjunctivitis when he was only a few months old. Dr. Abron's was able to diagnose it via zoom and call in a prescription that was deliverable by our pharmacy. This took so much anxiety out of everything when you are dealing with a 3 month old baby during the height of a pandemic. We are so very thankful for all of them and the lovely staff :)

I compare every doctor to Dr Screnci and not one has lived up to her skill set. She is the most intelligent person I have ever met in my life. I truly trust her with my life. I would still go to her if I could. She was good with me through the years where I had a fear of going to a doctor and still continued to be into my teenage years where my questions were endless. I owe getting over my fear of doctors to her and the staff. She truly got it right every time I never doubted her expertise. Every doctor appointment I have been to since I have left with frustration and confusion. She always has such patience even after working all day and seeing a boatload of patients, she still took the time to answer my questions that were insignificant to other patients. When I was younger I used to say that she should be president :). She definitely has all the strong qualities to do so in my eyes. I also have loved every other doctor she has brought on to the practice. It amazes me, its as if she finds the most qualified doctors out there or maybe they find her. I hope that when I have children one day that I can either take them to someone who is at least half the person Dr Screnci was for me, I know it will be hard to find, I have been searching for years.

First of all, I…read morecalled (and called back) five different times (each time being told that my daughter would be accepted as a patient and I would be called back) before anyone got back to me. Once I was left on hold for 10 minutes and no one ever came back. This all had gone on for over two weeks. On my 4th call, the secretary said "what's the number where I can call you back" and I said to her, in a very nice and calm tone: "I just want to let you know, this is the fourth time I've called this office, and no one has yet given me a call back." There was a long silence, and then she said "what's the number where I can call you back?" I said, "but I just need to know that you will actually call me back." She said "what's the number where I can call you back." Like a pissed off robot--no apologies, no concern for the fact I had been chasing this office down for coming on three weeks. So I gave her the number and said please call me back. And...she didn't. I believe this was Dana. Three days later I call the office again. Now I'm upset. I explained what had happened so far. I said I wanted to speak to the office manager, sandy, who wasn't in. The secretary I was speaking to asked if she could help--this was Christina. She was really nice and apologetic and gave me an appointment the same day (she did call back.) So our appointment is supposed to be today. Our baby was sick. Yesterday I get a voicemail saying Dr. Martocci has Covid, and is cancelling all patients today and rescheduling for next week. Alright, nothing you can do about that. But then I get a call this morning, again from Dana, asking me if I can come in this morning. I said "I thought the doctor had Covid, isn't that why our appointment was cancelled?" Long silence. I'm put on hold. She comes back and says "the doctor is feeling better. He's leaving early today. He's still seeing patients in the morning." I said "how can he be seeing patients if he has Covid?" She said, "if you're more comfortable, you can reschedule for next week." Umm, what? I said "I don't understand, is the doctor contagious?" She said "no." Long pause. I said I would call back. Five minutes later, after talking to my partner, I'm immediately put on hold and no one comes back. I call again, it says the office is closed. I call a third time, it says the office is closed. Now I'm wondering if they're purposely not answering MY calls. My partner calls from his cell phone, Dana picks up in one ring. I am honestly so infuriated and upset I am in tears. Hoping to finally speak to the manager to explain what my experience has been. I just hope someone cares because this is not okay. This might be the best pediatrician in the world, but who can deal with being treated this way? Now it's been over a month of this, and my daughter still hasn't been seen for her four month visit. Also, anyone who knows me knows I am a really calm and polite person, very gentle and patient. I can't understand why I'm being treated this way, or if this is standard for parents at this office.

Dr. Martocci always gives his advice but allows parents to decide how to take care of their children. For example he tells me what shots are due but allows me to decide what shots will be given or I can decide not to get shots at all. My son would always get a high fever whenever he received a shot. I told Dr. Martocci my concern about a booster for the MMR. He suggested to have a titers test done to check and see if my son had enough of the MMR antibodies. My son indeed had enough antibodies and so he never needs to have another MMR shot again! Dr. Martocci supports our family and appreciates that we try to eat organic as much as possible. He never forces his opinion on us. He provides treatment options and allows us to decide how to treat our children. I highly recommend this practice to anyone with children.
