Asked for a leak repair, was quoted for ~$1200 for everything including drywall repairs. I asked…read morehim to repair leaks and leave all drywall for me to try to save money. He proceeded to charge ~$2300 for leak repairs, excluding drywall, which included replacing ~1.5 ft PVC fittings and pretty minimal copper fixes (which he had to bring in another plumber to fix). When I asked for itemized receipt I was given one that didn't include all payments so he had to spend a half an hour making a new receipt fudging numbers to make up the full cost of what he charged me. Actual itemized receipt is incredibly vague and now home warranty company is refusing to pay because what he charged is simply unreasonable. I recommend going with a more experienced contractor. If I had the time I could have fixed what they did for less than $300.
