Clint did an amazing job with my 2014 Tacoma by being able to fit 34s and 3in lift. He was able to get it done before 4th of July with only a few mistakes like one of my nitto ridge grappler sidewalls has a different pattern and does still have minor rubbing due to the front inner fender lining causing to pop my flares out. HOWEVER it doesn't change the 5 stars, the customer service and the professional work done on my Tacoma, this shop deserves the 5 stars! EDIT: Very happy with how Clint handled the situation. He was able to fix the problems I had without hesitation. I appreciate the hard work him and his team did to my tacoma. Most definitely gonna take it here again if I needed anything else done. I've had horrible experiences in the past with people joy riding ,stealing parts even set on fire at one point in its life so I am very picky who I leave my truck with . I originally contacted 4wheel parts where I got a quote but no return call and when I tried to schedule it I got blamed cause when I left a deposit I guess nobody wanted to schedule anything or communicate I quickly canceled my non appointment and asked for my deposit back . I found maximum Offroad and got nothing but awesome service the price was lower then 4wheel parts by 300$ the truck was completed on time and I even got a call to let me know my ball joints are bad and saved me a lot of money didn't try to up sell me it and most importantly the job was done correct . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I would give a 0 star if I could. Big company taking advantage of the little guy. My credit card was charged $500 August 31, 2022 for a service that has not yet been provided. I was originally told that the truck bed cover I needed for installation on a 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 was not yet in stock yet because the truck was so new but would be in stock there in about 2 weeks. My credit card was charged as a hold for the item. The rep originally told me I did not need to place a hold with my card but I could to ensure I got my item installed as soon as it came and was assured that would be about the middle of the month. Well the middle of the month came with no call from Maximum Offroad, so of course I had to call them to check on the order. The cover has not come in yet was what I was told, but should be here by the end of the month. Now, I've waited over a month with a multi-million dollar company holding on to my $500 by way of a charge on my credit card. Now within this month of waiting I have had a financial situation come up. Not to mention it's now October 4, 2022 and I've waited patiently. I called Maximum Offroad to let them know I would still eventually like the service done but at the moment I needed to cancel and would like my money returned to my credit card. I was told flat out "unfortunately we can't do that" well that is unfortunate because at what time am I justified in asking for my hard earned money back from a company who has yet to provide a service. If not one month then when? Two months, three?? This is very unfortunate. How many Ram 1500's are out there that may need a truck bed cover. I'm sure Maximum Offroad will be ok.... and hey you go right ahead and keep my hard earned money for no service. Better believe I will fight this! The response back from Clint is completely false. Check your records!!! You charged me August 31 not September 23. You are either completely out of touch with this situation and don't know what's going on or you are choosing not to lie. Check your records!!! Also you did not call me I had to call you! Another point is you didn't take half because the price was close to $1200. I was told on August 31st when you took my money that I could hold it with $500 to ensure installation right away but they should be coming in a couple of weeks regardless, first come first served. Literally said "it's up to you" but hey spin it your way guy. I think the real point is you've had my money over a month with NO Service!!! At this point you are $500.00 richer and if my credit card company can't get me my money back then consider yourself lucky because you couldn't buy my business now. I'm sure it will be another 2022 Ram looking for a cover and you will recouped your losses just fine. read more

I have been wanting to lift my 2013 Silverado for some time but I didn't want to take my truck to just anyone. I am very particular about who I let work on my truck and I have heard many horror stories about some of the other offroad shops around town. I did a ton of research online and came across Maximum Offroad Performance. I saw all the positive reviews and the quality work that was being performed by Maximum Offroad, so I reached out to them to see if they could do the work. I talked to Clint, who is the owner, and he took the time to answer any and all the questions that I had. He also spent extra time trying to track down some wheels that I wanted but were on backorder. He definitely went the extra mile to make sure that I was happy with what I was purchasing so I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on the lift. I dropped the truck off early this week to get the 6" BDS Lift with Fox Coil-Overs, Cognito Upper Control Arms, 22x12 Hostile Sprocket Wheels and 35x12.50R22 Toyo Open Country MT Tires. I just picked it up today and I was blown away with how good it looks and drives. They did an amazing job! If anyone is thinking about getting a lift or getting any offraod accessories, this is the place to go. They are honest, friendly, do quality work and are reasonably priced. Clint is the best! I had his shop lift my 98 Jeep Cherokee Xj. He worked with my schedule to get my Jeep in as soon as possible. His shop can get busy however in my book that's a good sign. Had Clint work on my truck twice. Was frustrated and disappointed both times. First time: Sat down with Clint in early November (2016), said I wanted to get a full OME suspension lift/Dakar springs plus an Add-A-Leaf for my Tacoma. Arranged an appointment for the end of the month when I would be out of town. When I showed up three weeks later to drop off my truck, he said he didn't have all the parts in yet, but expected them to come in by the the time I returned. When I did return 10 days later, he said he didn't get the Add-A-Leaf (AAL) in on time, so I would have to bring back the truck when they arrived (which he said would be within the week). Additionally, my truck now has a slight lean to the left/driver side that he said he couldn't fix (yes i even bought/he installed the spacer on the driver side). Oh well, I hope that it would settle over time. I gave him my number/email, and left. Clint never called me back. I eventually started wondering a month later but I had to deploy so I didn't have time to follow up. Fast forward almost a year.... Second time: I am back from a deployment, and have some custom sliders I want installed, and hoping to finally get the add-a-leaf he owes me. I call Clint in early September (2017) hoping to give enough heads-up to order an AAL before another business trip at the end of October (7 weeks from then). He doesn't really remember me, but says he can order the AAL's and have them in plenty of time. I even call in mid-October to remind him and set a definitive date/time to drop off my truck. He sounds a little confused, but says "sounds good". I drop off my truck, show him the sliders in the bed for install, and leave for my trip. One week later (while i'm out of town), he texts me and says he "can't find the AALs" in my truck. Nearly furious, I remind him that I only have the sliders in the truck and the HE was supposed to order the AALs for me (when I told him to now almost two months ago). He replies with the standard, "my bad" I'll see what I can do. Upon return, same story as a year ago: "They didn't come in on time, but I should have them by the end of the week". The one bright side: He doesn't charge me for the slider install, and just says to settle up when we get/install the AAL's next week. I say, "okay, call me when they come in". But again, I NEVER hear from him. At this point I'm done. I figure as much as he's jerked me around, I'm not even gonna try to follow up. Oh well, at least I got a free slider install out of it (hence two stars instead of one). BTW, my truck still has a slight lean to the left! read more

I recently moved back to the Vegas area and just had my Jeep JK lifted (with new 35's and rims) by Clint (owner). Maximum Offroad did a good job on the lift for my 2004 Tahoe Z-71.... The issue I had is that communication was not the best and I was never made aware that I was going to be charged extra for putting new upper control arms on while they did the lift. I had the exact same model vehicle and year and Scorpion Off Road did my last lift and put all of the exact same parts on it as I did with this vehicle and was never charged anything extra for adding the new parts. The only reason I had maximum do it was due to time but in the end it took longer. Once again let me reiterate that the quality of work was great. It was the lack of communication and not letting me know that something was going to be extra until it was time to pay.. GO TO SCORPION OFF ROAD... Dino the owner will go the extra mile for you. They didd my last lift kit and did a quality job as well and didn't charge me any extra to take 4 bolts off that held two A arms since they were already there. read more

Clint installed a 4 inch, 8 arm terra flex suspension kit along with new rims and tires on our Rubicon. He gave us an estimate prior to beginning the work and started and finished our job right on time. He is a very reliable and honest businessman. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone!!!!! I have recommended him to a number of Jeepers as he has done everything from suspension to alarm to fuel pump to more cosmetic mods on both my Jeep Scrambler LJ and now my Jeep Willys JK. I appreciate his patience as I like probably many others can get a little worked up when something isn't right on my vehicle. I remember having an annoying creak in my ear from the driver's side of my Scrambler when driving over any slightly rough roads so I took it over to Clint and told him I am going to sell this f...ing Jeep. He calmly isolated the creak, put a bolt between the top and frame and the creak was all but gone. This stopped me from selling the vehicle for at least a couple of years anyway.
