(Only negative--she could have brushed all the hair off of me after!!) ------------------ October 2015 2 months later; I was in town for a HS homecoming game and thought I'd get a touch up. Since the first cut in August from shoulder length to above the collar--was shorter than I've ever worn it and a brand new look/cut for me---it just needed a little tweaking. I wanted my 2 front cow licks to lay right after blow drying & the sides (by my ears) not be so heavy (I showed her) She seemed distracted because I shouldn't feel rushed--and that I don't have her undivided attention---but, I did. The tweak? To "me", my hair looks exactly the same--doesn't flow. I was in and out of salon in 20 min tops. Not sure, I will go back. Sad. I honestly wasn't sure if they would have time or if I would have to wait a while before being in a chair. Taylor was excited to welcome me and got to work right away, which I was just wanting a trim so it would be a quick appointment anyway. She still made me feel very welcome and taken care of even on short notice.

She left me under the dryer for 30 minutes with bleaching my hair and then put a developer And left me for 30 minutes with that on my head I had to text her cause she was doing other people's hair. I was burning. She wiped it with a dry cloth, left it there then looked at me and said I came in with dry skin scabbed across my forehead I did not so it was like she was saying what she was doing. And then she said she got her nails nice and sharp and she put a towel over my face put her finger into my eye, and I even told her that hurt hurts. I have a chemical Burns On my face and my eye. She charged me 168 the first time and another 168. The second time she melted my hair and burnt me. When I first went in, a lady looked at me and said good luck because evidently she was talking about me from what I was told that's why I know she was aggravated so she physically assaulted me within intent also a 16-year-old girl that I know went to her, and she left her under the dryer for over an hour with bleach on her hair. She was acting super neurotic so I text her when I left. Thanks Melinda. Best money I ever spent because literally she seems mentally off right now and she will hurt you do not go there. Thankfully, I did the text saying hey, I'm burning I know you said this stays on 20 minutes. I've talked to other ladies and they said you're never supposed to leave bleach on 30 minutes or developer on 20 minutes. and I had my body cam app on that I use for work when I clean houses and I stayed calm as she was doing these things on purpose. I made sure to have evidence of what she did because this is assault. I have pictures of the burns even the one on my eye, but yelp keeps deleting them. Thuy was very personable, chatted right thru my entire time there. Very efficient, suggested a new cut and color and my hair looks great! I immediately called my Beaumont friends and recommended her! She understood what I was going for by asking the right questions and soothing any of my anxieties. I've gotten my hair done in these pricey, high end salans in NYC, LA, and D.C. because I move around a lot, but nothing has come close to Jennifer's talent. Besides all of that, Luxx is very involved in the community which I absolutely adore. You'll see an "Adopt Me" board from one of the local area rescues and in two minutes of conversation, you could see Jennifer's passion for it. I had a fabulous time and I can't wait to go back.

She is very particular that my hair is done right! She doesn't take shortcuts and always takes the time to make sure it's done right. She doesn't book more than one person at a time, so you aren't waiting forever for her to get to you. She uses great products on her clients regardless to what it may cost her. She cares about her all of her clients and I just love her!
