Before heading back to Tampa from my recent mini family vacation in Captiva Island, I decided to…read morestop in Fort Myers for a matcha and a little thrifting before I left town. While the thrift shop I found was filled with treasures, when I got in my car to head home, happy with my purchases, I found that my car wouldn't start, and I saw the battery light come on. Well crap, what do I do now? I asked around inside the shop to see if anyone had jumper cables and could help jump my car so I could head to the nearest Hyundai dealer, which was, luckily enough, eight minutes from where I was located. I'm not sure why I hadn't equipped my car with jumper cables, but alas, these are always the moments you realize these things. When you're alone and in an unfamiliar place. Surprisingly, nobody in the shop was able to jump my car, as everyone was in rental cars! What an odd predicament I had found myself in. Before considering a tow, I tried a last ditch effort to call my family who I hoped maybe hadn't left the area to head home just yet. And as luck would have it, they were in Fort Myers grabbing lunch! They also didn't have jumper cables, as they were in a new car, but they picked me up so we could go purchase a battery from the dealer. Just a block into our journey, we spotted Advance Auto Parts (why this hadn't come up in my online search of the area, I'm not sure), and I popped inside and was able to pick up some jumper cables and a battery for my car! They even had several options for the battery, and I opted for one with a four-year warranty. The shop was tidy and easy to navigate, and the service was helpful and efficient. My family and I decided to go jump my car and come back to Advance Auto Parts, as the kind associate said he could help replace the battery for me. Given that it was midday and nearly 100 degrees outside when he changed my battery, I can't express my gratitude enough for this wonderful man's help. He really saved the day and I appreciate that there are still businesses like this out there where people will help when they can. Thank you for being there!

My salesperson, Robert Dorsey, was not in the slightest bit pushy and was extremely knowledgeable. It was obvious I wasn't just another "up". I was treated with dignity and respect from the moment I walked in until I left a couple of hours later with a beautiful car. Zero pushing.. zero! Go to Porsche Ft. Myers and you will not be disappointed. I purchased a used car and was treated like a queen. Thank you Robert, the sales manager Lou and all of the lovely folks at Porsche Ft. Myers for making it happen. I'm thrilled with my car and thrilled with the entire experience. You're doing everything right! And I want to make a mention of how much I appreciated the lovely young lady at the front entrance that greeted us with a beautiful warm smile, Cheyenne. I talked to her a few times during our visit and she has a way of making you feel comfortable and welcome. Final thought from my 60 years on this planet. Service is everything and the most important part of any shopping experience for me personally, is the way I'm treated. I will walk out of any business just as fast as I walked in if I'm pounced on or pressured. Its unacceptable in today's society. We know we can have better and we seek it until we find it. I found it at Porsche after bad experiences at a few local dealerships. No pouncing.. no pressure... seriously was my best experience ever in buying a car. THANK YOU!

After delivery, it was immediately clear that both the front bumper and hood had been recently repainted, and the quality of the work was poor. I spent over $3,000 to have this corrected. On top of that, the clutch was slipping under full throttle from the moment I received the car, requiring a replacement that cost over $2,000. This is not the honesty, transparency, or quality I expect from a Porsche dealership. I strongly recommend using a different dealership. If more detail is needed, I will be providing additional documentation to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Porsche North America. Avoid this dealership at all costs unless you have the car independently inspected by a different dealer before purchase.

I thought LineX would be a durable, low maintenance solution instead of repainting. My truck also has a factory color matched ARE camper top that was showing some bubbling in the clear coat on the top only. I took the vehicle in for an initial contact with this franchise as I was unsure if it was even possible to spray a fiberglass camper top or truck roof for that matter. The manager assured me they could spray both truck roof and camper top and never mentioned any danger of my paint being adversely affected by the spray itself or the taping process. Total job...$1,000! The day I took my truck in to get the two jobs done an employee met me out front to get details on what I wanted done. I explained, in detail, exactly what I had previously discussed with the manager including that I did NOT want the roof rack moulding sprayed over. Much to my dismay he wrote down nothing that I said. In retrospect I should have ran away right then! When I returned to pick up my truck they said that there were "complications". Whatever tape they use to "cut" the edge of the spray also ripped up the clear coat and paint from the camper top. Then I noticed...yep sure enough they sprayed right over the roof rack moulding! I tried to get the owner to fix the issue with the camper top and he wanted me to pay $300 more to fix HIS mistake. The owner then said that it was MY fault for bringing them bad paint. And that if he had been working when I came in originally he would have turned down the job. I talked to a regional manager for LineX who could only apologize and say they have no power over their franchises, but told me the local franchise should repair the mistake at no extra charge. I took my truck over for a third time and left my camper top to be fixed. Discussed with the manager details again on how best to fix the issue. The manager, owner and I took the camper top off and I left. Two minutes later the owner is texting me to make sure I knew he was charging me $300 to fix it. I said that's not what we agreed to. He said to come back over and pick up the camper top! This is the WORST customer service I've ever experienced from a business ever! Especially for such an expensive product. I would never recommend this franchise to ANYONE!!!

I was told the part needed (a radiator hose) would take 4-5 days to arrive from Mercedes. While traveling out of state from October 6th-16th, I called on October 8th (give or take a day) to offer payment and request the odometer reading. I was told I needed to speak with the manager, Greg, but he never called me back. When I arrived on October 21st to pick up my vehicle: * I was told payment would not be accepted * They claimed the car was "in probate" and under a mechanic's lien * I learned the car had been removed from the location, and no one would tell me where it was taken * Greg was out of the country until October 24th, leaving no one available to speak with me I was also told they had contacted my credit union, but I was never notified, and my lender never mentioned any issue during my refinance process. I reported the incident to AAA, filed a formal complaint with NAPA Corporate (case number issued), and had the Lee County Sheriff document the situation. Florida law requires certified notice and acceptance of payment under Statute §713.585. NAPA failed to comply with both. I am now pursuing legal remedies.
