The service was good, for context we had about 15 people in our group so any shortcomings of the wait staff can be waived in my opinion. Though we ordered water multiple times, specifying we wanted still water, and were brought sparkling water. Anyway. I ordered a gyro with fries and it came with tzatziki sauce which was very good. The fries and sauce were good but the meat was super mediocre in my opinion. The appetizers were good but I only tried the seasoned bread. We were seated outside and were able to look out to the river and that was really really nice. A lot of people in my party ordered ice cream at the end of the meal and it looked divine so maybe that's something I need to try next time.

They give you bread for the table which was delicious! I wasn't super hungry so I ordered veggie soup with a side of garlic bread. My friend ordered the lamb. Both were phenomenal. I'm not a huge lamb person but she said it was good. I would 100% go and get this soup again. With the bread it was about 14€ or so. Totally worth it. This is the perfect place for a date- the tables all have candles and the dining ware is very fancy. I liked it a lot. Would absolutely go back.

I haven't checked but they come across as Italians who lived in Germany for some time, offering us a warm welcome and a professional, pleasant service throughout dinner, while speaking a combination of Italian and German (with a good command of English). Their honest recommendations and attention throughout the evening have been of the highest quality. We had two main dishes from the specials menu: (1) sea food (scallops and giant shrimps) with black pasta, covered with a rich and heavy cream. The pasta was good, but a little on the over-cooked end of the spectrum. The sea food itself was good. (2) The other dish was pasta with cheese and truffles: prepared right in front of us with much showmanship (see the photos). My friend was satisfied with the taste. The restaurant is located in the middle of what seems to be a residential area. It was practically empty. The menu is long and diverse so the likelihood of the ingredients being fresh, locally sourced daily from nearby farms fields is pretty low. The portions are massive (think US-sized) using lots of cream - which makes the experience a test for your stomach capacity, less a test for your taste buds.

It happened that I visited this restaurant all alone, my only companion was my poor german…read more The service was very kind though, they welcomed me, took my coat and seated me immediately. I also received one bruschetta and a bowl of olives on the house (Fact worth mentioning - I learned to eat olives there! :)). My tomato soup was delicious as good as the chef's spaghetti with mushroom and beef. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated. One very important note - there are no disturbing noises coming from the outside (there is a railway station). Very kind surprise, even for a foreigner.
