It did not appear the visitors were workers from the industries around Schlemmer House; rather many were local residents from the community. I had zigeuner schnitzel mit pommes. The zigeuner sauce was fresh but a bit on the sweet side, The schnitzel was tenderized/cooked well. The pommes were okay. I visited only because I did a permanent volksmarch (hike) in Gau-Algesheim and Schlemmer House sold me my start card. I would probably eat there again if I re-do the volksmarch but I would not make a special effort/trip to visit Schlemmer House.

Great guys running this little joint, how can you not like them?…read more However, to preface, I cannot advise on their actual pizza, all I can say is, their doners literally rock! Love 'em! In fact, the bread/flatbread/tortilla... whatever you call it, is handmade here too. That's how the process begins, they take their little ball of dough, flatten it out and slap it in a press real quick, run it through a quick oven deal, then start carving the meat and donning it with all the goodies. It's a damn good doner, fact! I think you'll be equally satiated if you give it a try. Cheers!
