This T&T was massive, with a wide range of fresh and frozen groceries and meats, seafoods, as well as a bakery, chinese bbq station and a variety of supplies. Everything was well-organized and the staff seemed friendly. My wife and I are visiting, we're staying at a hotel with a refrigerator and stovetop so got frozen beef, fresh mushrooms and package noodle soups that we could make for snacks. We didn't get too much because we intend to experience the local restaurants and businesses. I can't comment on how the prices normally are but it seemed like they reasonable by current U.S. standards. We used the self-check out which was straight forward.

I purchased these cute steamed character buns (because why not?). I was also so happy to find this one particular tea bag that is honestly one of the best Hong Kong style, but hard to find back at home in the US where I am from. The price at this particular location was pretty good since this item was on sale (but even at the full price, it is still cheaper than buying it back at home) and wished I had purchased all the remaining boxes to bring back home since the T&T Supermarket in Ottawa sells these at a higher price. When we came back for a second visit, it was nice to see an employee at the jian bing (Chinese crepe) station, since it was not available to be made fresh when we had visited the night before. I am not sure what the price was but kind of regret not having one made fresh for us during this second visit (this is the only supermarket that I have seen that even has this available inside a market. The Asian markets I have frequent back at home have wheel cakes made fresh for purchase though). I like that there is a large dining area in which you sit and eat your food items with a actually a few different places you can choose from (including outside). There are also restrooms available too. This market was clean and everything was nicely organized. Overall, it was easy to navigate the store. Would definitely come back if I lived in Montreal.

There's also a dining room where you can eat the freshly prepared food.

I have been using the store since its inception in Greenfield park around an year back. The stock is reasonably fresh and rotating and the support Mexican staff is pretty pleasing to deal with. The fish and meat sections are pretty well managed. But what brought me to my knees is an incident last month. I was at the meet section, and my wife had placed her wallet on the sill of the crab container and was picking up crabs. The next instance the wallet was gone. Initially we thought we left it in the car , when we found it to the contrary, we reported it to the front counter. they said they never found it. It never occurred to me to ask for the camera footage. I called the store back upon reaching home to request for the camera footage. At that point the store personnel were less than forthcoming. Tired, bored, disinterested. That Wallet contained everything from the sin card to driver's license to various plastic cards. It has taken a few weeks to reinstate all my accounts due to that loss. What is alarming is that the wallet contained address, photo and more personal details and person that grabbed it had no civility to return. What is more alarming is the store personnel's resolve to address customer's problems. It simply did not exist. I think the approach to customer service can be more service centric and empathetic. This would definitely reduce incidents like theft at the premise. That apart I would have given these stores a five star rating.

He eventually took them back but I was made to feel that I was in the wrong and he gave me a story that they spot checked fruit from the cartons. I offered that he should open up any of the untouched apples I was returning - I knew they were all bad. He declined and eventually gave me a refund. An altogether unpleasant experience. I don't know this man's name but I can find out who it was. They could do better and the manager could have been more accommodating and less could have had a less distasteful attitude.

We didn't finish our selection at 8pm (the closing time) but almost at the end. However, there was one employee very rushed push us to leave, we just have one or two item need to select. She didn't want to help but only spoke loudly to us just the store need to be closed, but based on my experience no store in Canada push customer to leave as long as customer step into the store before the closing time. My wife is pregnant, she couldn't move fast and felt sad and angry about this thing. There is no respect from the the employee at this store. Please avoid this store. It was really a bad bad experience.
