WOW. After 10 months…read moreliving in Stockholm, disappointed by every burger I've had (Even when visiting Norrköping), I've finally found a burger worth trying again. I recently moved to Kungsholmen and noticed that this place was just a few minutes away. When we decided to try it, I was a bit apprehensive. Even Texas Longhorn, that was so hyped up by my boyfriend, wasn't that great to me. I walked in and the smell was heavenly. I'm a NYC girl who loves Shake Shack, and the smell reminded me of my beloved shack burger. The decor is very 50's, and I thought it was pretty cool. Many places in Stockholm try too hard to be modern, so this was a refreshing change. The staff was super friendly and helped us choose a beer to drink, since a lot of them were unfamiliar to me. I had "Den Goden" burger, which had bean sprouts, spinach, yellow beet, and avocado. I sat down kicking myself because I realized that the combination just sounded ABSURD. I was a bit scared to try it but once I did, I was so happy. The meat was DELICIOUS, just the perfect amount of moistness and flavor. The bun was a potato bun (I think?), a bit soft for some tastes, but I prefer this kind of bread on my burgers. The flavors of the toppings weren't strong, but the avocado added a nice creaminess that was super pleasing. I also had disco fries, but I was a bit tired of them since my burger was so filling. They were pretty tasty though, and would probably be better if shared. I will definitely be back here. The prices aren't cheap, but this is Stockholm, and they aren't really expensive either. I think it's totally worth it for a good burger and a beer. (P.S. I see all you Flippin Burgers enthusiasts in the reviews-- I'm trying that next!)

First, I want to say that you shouldn't go here at lunch since you will only get the buffet - where they fry your burger and you put whatever you want on it from a bar with bowls of onion, tomatoes, BBQ sauce etc. It is practical - allowing the chefs to just keep making burgers without taking special orders into consideration. And maybe DIY appeals to you, but you won't get the most delicious burgers this place has to offer - that's for sure. After 4 PM they start serving the burgers on the menu - "The Good", "The Bad" and "The Ugly". Each with its own distinct concept and set of unique ingredients. These are different from the regular "cheese burger" and "cheese and bacon burger", and very worthy of being permanent menu items. The burgers are always grilled to perfection with a pink center. If you want a spicy burger, go try "The Bad". If you want to try a novelty style burger, go get "The Ugly" which has mushrooms and other unexpected ingredients!

I usually like their ribs & order the kids size because even that portion is huge. A very simple yet yummy salad is included when you order a main dish that is being served while you're waiting for the food. The girl that was waiting our table was very professional, she let us know that our food is being prepared & apologized for the delay. Also my company wanted a mixed beef & chicken fajita that they didn't have on the menu but she still fixed it for us. The prices are very reasonable compare to quality & portion & the kids rib that I ordered was only 110 Kr that was what I paid for a salad in a cafe for lunch!

Another day, another burger!…read more It was time give this venue a try, which is located on Rörstrandsgatan in Vasastan. Came here pretty late and there was no problem getting a table outside. I love the atmosphere along this street with all the restaurants and people walking around. We got our menus and some tip's about what to get depending on our preferences. Service was by the way given in English(to set the right mood?). I settled for the Bacon and Cheeseburger along with their regular fries. Prices on a plain burger is a bit lower than equal restaurants but you add fries and other sides for an extra charge. We got our burgers really quick, but i dont know the case with a normal crowd. Fries were def okey but nothing special, although i liked the size and crisp of the portion. Had e sweet chili dip on the side, which i def. can recommend to raise the stakes. I really liked the bun, it looked and tasted great like it was freshly made. Patty was juicy and left pink in the core as it should be. All-in-all i really liked the burger, with the right amount of flavor and freshness that i like. And if you want to go crazy, you can go on a spree with shakes and more unhealthy stuff. Give this place a try! You will get a great burger for a great value and will most probably leave stuffed and satisfied.

Since this was on an early Monday night (around 6 pm) the place was quiet except for a few people running in and out chatting with the kitchen staff (...friends, not customers). I have to say that it was a little bit annoying since the table we were seated at was right next to the kitchen. Maybe I wouldn't have noticed this on a busy night though but it did give a quite unorganized impression and it felt like the floor staff did not really appreciate the freeway to the kitchen. They took our order straight away and did ask without any hesitation about how we wanted the meat. Medium rare we chose and medium rare we got! We both took the Jalapeno burger but I went for double meat. We took only one side order, the sweet potato fries. Considering that Rörstrandsgatan is a little bit famous for overpriced and somewhat tacky places and I guess that Burgers and Beer did what they could to fit into this category. The meat was perfectly cooked but they must have added 5 tablespoons of salt in my burger. The sweet potato fries should have needed another 5 minutes in the fryer - the thicker ones were far from done, think we left more than half of the fries. In total we paid close to SEK 600 for the burgers, one side order and 3 beers (in total). That was SEK 150-200 too much. With the said and done and considering the experience I had I cannot say that the expectations for my next visit will be very high (...if I will come back at all!)

While this place is seemingly always open when you need it, the sign of a good friend -- it's been a long time since I've felt good about myself for stopping in here after a night out (okay get the double entendres out of your head). Its legendary status in my small social world aside, the food is cheap but of questionable quality. Last time there I got the "Chicky Bits" and that was basically the straw that broke the camels back in our relationship. I can see why they call them "Chicky" and not "Chicken" bits -- because whatever this is made out of, it can't be chicken. The same can probably be said about their burger meat. Stick with the 90g burger and fries if you need food after a night out and you'll be satisfied. Avoid the chicky bits at all costs. Stay on a "need to know" basis with Snabbt & Gott, i.e. only when you NEED food, not simply want it.
