Stay away. Failed inspection for rotors and brakes I had put on last year. Nothing wrong with them. Auto parts store won't replace lifetime brakes because there's way too much pad left. Tried to take back for reinspection and was told they don't have stickers. Took to another place for inspection and passed without issues. When I asked, they said I would have been ripped off the have them replaced. Took end of March for April inspection and emissions. Put March sticker on. I have used this business for years, going back to their Jack Williams days. I've purchased 2 sets of tires that are wearing well, and I love their free tire rotation for life policy. Today I had an inspection, oil change and tire rotation, reasonable price and quick service, in and out in 1.5 hours. Awful experience. Bought 4 Goodyear tires in 2024. Lug nuts missing. Had to have the tires rotated and retorqued immediately. After about a year one of the tires wouldn't hold air. Took it back and they advised the tires were dry rotted! Wow 1 year! Must be something wrong with the tires. They claimed to not have the right parts and 5 hours later finally replaced the tire and charged me full price. Now they won't return my call and claim I got a good price on the replacement tire for the substandard tires they sold me. Don't go to Mavis!!!!! read more

I came here before and bought all new tires and the one would leak every other day (it would need air). I found myself coming in for a plug in (24.99) . They proceeded to hustle me into buying two tires (they wanted me to spend 790 on 4) when I told them I couldn't do that the refuse to give me the plug in and said I would have to sign paper work to have one tire changed. I paid for 2 tires just to get out of there . After they told me all their guys would work on it if I spend the 790 . Since I didn't one one guy worked on it . I've been here for almost 2 hrs . After all this the guy has you scan the code in the front and tell you to give them 5 stars while staring at you . Don't go here other sites have given a way better experience and don't make you feel like you are getting so BS or bad for just trying to get what you came for . We are calling corporate number on Monday, we spoke to a lead or manager at whitehall John. Very arrogant and rude, honestly if he was my employee I'd fire him. She wanted to bring back car and get it looked at instead we took it Rehps auto care in Whitehall. Because John was so rude and didn't want to fix their mistake they caused. Took it to reph, they said it's a faulty strut that was installed and it was 700$ to fix. So now paying another 700$ to fix at another shop because your guys messed up and then were to rude to admit anything and take of us. So to sum it up, brought car in for oil change, and tires and brakes. They didn't do oil change, but they replaced brakes and tires and struts.Picked up car drove it out parking lot get to next light, had no brakes to stop. Called and brought it right back, to sit there for 2 more hours to fix your original screw up. Then pick it up again and had a different issue now and then you give issue to not take back and fix after literally picking it up again. read more

I have come here multiple times for suspension, tire replacement, alignment, and inspections. They have the best rates and price match for better. They've never once over charged or hunted for a problem like other businesses (Firestone). read more

Brought a tire here to be fixed, I ran over something apparently. They called me to pick it up, I did. We took it straight home to put it in my car and it went flat immediately. You could hear the air coming out. Took it back the next day and the person at the counter said they couldn't fix it. Had they properly inspected the tire after trying to fix it they would have discovered this before charging me money for a tire they couldn't fix. Very basic skills obviously not present at this facility. No refund was offered. If you can't trust them to handle a tire situation at a tire place then that's a place to avoid. Lesson learned. Probably the worst time management I've ever seen. The only place I've ever been to where a pre scheduled appointment means waiting a almost a full hour past that appointment time to see your car get on the lift. Then watching your rims sit on the garage floor for another hour untouched. I'm sorry but In any establishment; anyone who schedules appointments should know how many time slots and types of appointments are available and feasible for that day. Clearly overbooked, mismanaged, and underemployed for the workload. Will not be coming back here even if someone paid me to do so. read more

So I told the manager that I called their number listed on there website and he says I called the call center! I told him I spoke to Mike and he says Mike doesn't work hear! And he said I can get u in but it won't be until the afternoon! Meanwhile it 8am and now the store Manager thinks that I'm going to drop my car off for a oil change for 5 hours ! Sitting here at Mavis for a 2:00 PM appointment, but our vehicle didn't go into the shop until 3:20 , which is ludicrous. The gentleman sitting beside me had a 1:00 for tires at 3:29 his vehicle is on the lift. Mavis, you have a long way to go to match the previous owner, Jack Williams. Dropped my car at 9:30 for my scheduled 10:00 appointment and asked for an inspection, wheel alignment and to check a leaked on a tire still under warranty. Called at 4:30 and was told my car was finished. When I arrived the store manager Billy told me about the alignment and inspection but did not mention the tire so I asked. He excused himself and went and spoke with the tech, when he came back he told me that only the inspection had been done. Completely wasting my time. They tried to make it right by offering a half price alignment the next day so I proceeded to bring my car in the following day to get the alignment done. After I pick my car up and drive it for a while(still the same day) I get home and proceed to tighten my lug nuts and I noticed that they sent me home short a lug nut. I had my car brakes replaced at Mavis in the end of April 2019. They had to remove wheels hence they used the key for the lock nuts. Today I had a different appointment for tires elsewhere. The key was missing from the bag in my glove box. I learned from the first garage that key was missing. I called Mavis to follow up. They said they would look for it. Drove there directly and waited 45 min. Went to desk to inquire if they found key. The regional manager, Tony Glovas was working there today and shook his head and said we don't have your key and we never did. We aren't paying for it and he walked away. I said don't walk away and he turned and said I'm walking away and you aren't getting a key from us. I asked the other manager there what his name was and he told me it was confidential. II then called their corporate office. Several things occurred next. Tony started yelling at me for calling his corporate office about the key. Then lawn service arrived and mowed getting grass and small stones all over my grill, hood and windshield. I called corporate again after complaining to him about it because he responded you didn't want me to touch your car. Mind you, they had the keys and never. Asked me to move the car myself. Next Tony Glovas said it was my fault. I said he moved his fat ass to move the car next to me and could not say as much as would you like to move your car? At this time 2 hours later corporate called them to have them move my car in to fix squealing brakes. Squealing since installed. When I said fat ass, Tony came out from behind counter and charged at me with his finger in my chest and face saying I'm sick of you fucking customers who have to complain about everything. You just call and tell corporate if you don't like what I tell you. You can get the fuck out of here now. I'm not working on your brakes now, besides we don't have a key to get wheels off. Get the fuck out of here now or I'm calling police. I suggested he do that. His Regional Director and Customer support was already investigating and looking at store video footage to review his a to Actions. Their corporate agreed to pay for the key that they lost, a car wash and investigate. Police came and made a report. I'm sure this won't be the last interaction with Tony. Horrible - had to leave my car there because there was only one inspector. Then was told I needed new back brakes AND back rotors, which my car did not need. I wasn't there so I felt pressured into receiving services that were not needed. Make sure you know what services you need and be there for them to show you before getting work done. First time using Mavis , but the reviews were good so I took my Mercedes there for state insp and service. I was in a rush and explained that to the guy at the desk, he said he would see what he could do to get me done asap. Unfortunately they noticed i need rotors and brakes to pass insp, i approved the repair and the same guy said he would do whatever he could to get me done my 3-4 pm, which i appreciated. The same nice guy called me just after 1pm to inform me my car was done and ready to go. This blew me away that they could get everything done so fast and at last minute, but they did. I was extremely grateful and expressed that to the guy when picking up my car. He said he put 2 guys on it to help me get done cause he new I was in a rush , but what he did not know was I was in a rush to go home to plan my mothers funeral arraignments and this meant the world to me, that they would go out of there way to help a new customer out. I asked if i could buy the 2 techs lunch for their help and promised to be a customer for life.
