We had to get a lot of work done on a very tight budget. Bryce and Zack we so helpful in selecting the most cost effective but appropriate parts. New tires, shocks, brakes, filters etc... We needed a lot. These guys were patient, helpful, efficient and just really nice people. I used to go to Discount Tire, but I'm a Mavis fan now! Thanks Zack and Bryce! read more

GO SOME PLACE ELSE! I purchased tires on Amazon and brought them here to be mounted and balanced. Expecting to pay $20.00 per tire. They charged me $45.00 for each tire! Taking off a wheel and busting, re-mounting, and balancing a wheel takes about 6 minutes a corner for an unskilled laborer. This was a TOTAL RIPOFF! Also, unless your car is brand new. You can expect them to find many repairs that just "must" be accomplished. Like "weak" TPS sensors, and astronomically expensive filter replacements. At least this Mavis location is far more interested in padding your bill than they are in fixing your vehicle. Save your money and go elsewhere. You have been warned. read more

Brought my pickup here for a diagnosis on a slow leak on my tire. They worked me in and gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision. No pressure tactics applied. read more

Did a great job. Estimate was accurate and time frame all met. Would definitely recommend

Mavis Tires not only did not balance any of the the tire they installed, but stripped 5 lug nuts in the process. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere. read more

Had a tire plugged but they wanted to charge me an additional $15 for balancing the tire. It was never taken off the car and I asked how and why would it need to be balanced. Anyone knows you can't balance a tire on the car. Would not let me leave without paying for balancing. Crooks! Another time I asked them to mount a tire on a rim and they said they could only mount a new tire purchased from them. These people are not to be trusted. read more

We have been dealing with this location for quite a while and we are always treated like family. I took my car for 2 front tires. They recommended struts ( refurbished struts at that finding out after the fact). I was overcharged by $550. The manager got nasty with my wife after questioning the bill. The manager egged me on into a argument. Leaving the parking lot there was a strange banging noise. Had to take back the next day. They didn't tighten up the bolts on the frame of my car. I have taken it back 4xs to repair They can't repair it. I had my mechanic look at it and because of not tightening up the bolts they damaged the frame hole and won't tighten. They take no responsibility for this situation. Horrible shop, Horrible experience, Horrible manager and regional manager. They dont have certified mechanics working there with more than 1yr experience. PLEASE STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY. #RIPOFF#SCAM ARTISTS read more

Nick the manager provides great customer service fast crew good quality service. honest and fair pricing

Beware of them not listing prices, especially for oil changes. They charge a $100 and more for basic oil changes

I brought my Jetta here a few months ago for an unknown engine issue right after I moved to the area, they said I needed 4 new engine coils. I said fine replace them. When less than a month later the car engine got worse, I brought it somewhere else. The new shop said I needed 2 new engine coils, I was confused because I had just replaced all 4... they said 2 were new, not 4... was I sure? I went home and found my receipt from mavis, yep 4 new coils. In between that week I took 2 cars (a Jetta and GLI) back to mavis for the inspection. Funny they said my brakes AND tires needed repair on the Jetta and the GLI which is nearly brand new needed window wipers- fine (not thinking much of scam) replace them to pass inspection. My husband also got the WRONG OIL put in the GLI... I not only don't recommend this place, they're lucky I haven't reached out to the BBB. Sad I have to give them one star. Do better Mavis of Oxford. read more

Short and sweet, in & out in 20 minutes. Got a single tire replacement. Completely NEW tire at $125 isn't bad. Considering a used tire is $70. read more

I needed my tires replaced so I made an appointment and dropped my car off. Not but 10 mins later they called and told me the tires they had quoted me the prior day were sold but that they have better tires in stock and would price match the quote they gave me yesterday. Sold! Will move to five stars after I get my car back read more

Dom, Valerie, and Tristan did fast reliable service with excellent customer service. I will continue to come here and get my car worked on I highly recommend to come. read more

Extremely slow service and inexperienced staff. I had an appointment and it took 45 minutes to pull the car in the shop and another 45 minutes to change one tire. An apology and a little old fashioned custom service would have helped.......however, they lacked on that also. I witnessed another customer, with an appointment, wait one hour before her car was pulled into the shop. First and last time at Mavis. (Oxford, Pa). read more

Buyer Beware!! My daughter was quoted a price of $400. for 4 tires. The next day she went in and ended up paying well over $500.00. Completely dishonest. Stay away. read more

Predatory business. Avoid this shop at all costs. Called to arrange single tire replacement selected mavis based on quote. Was explicit about other charges that would be billed. When I showed up everything changed and with up charges, hidden charges and additional fees that were previously quoted to be waived. My bill was increased by %70. I will never return. Stay away especially if you are a woman. Also side note the guy taking my money coughed in his hand then tried to hand me my change. I told him to keep it. Gross. read more

Horrible experience asked for a standard oil change and instead received synthetic Cost $92 for a simple oil change Never Again!! Also just had the car inspected but was told car needed numerous things estimated cost $3000 What a Rip Off read more

no one here must know anything about what they are doing. had my oil changed there once because I needed one and didn't have time to do it. so next time I changed it I found they used some kind of filter that obv wasn't the right one I couldn't even find it on the internet to see what it was for. and they cranked my oil plug so sight they beveled the washer into a dome. I broke two wrenches trying to get it loose. same with my tires that they changed and wore out after about a year when I tried to take them off they had the lug nuts so tight it took over 200 pounds of pressure to break them loose never going back for anything. read more

Very nice staff, always willing to work with you! Very efficient !will definitely recommend to friends and family in the area!

I stopped by today because I was having recurring issues losing air out of a couple of tires. Dominque did an awesome job, quickly identifying the two different issues and clearly explaining what the issues were, how he was addressing them, and what to look out for in the future (I drive an older vehicle with original rims). Very helpful and professional. Highly recommend! read more

Nothing what the lady behind the counter was true about price. Hidden fees NEVER AGAIN. Was told wheel alignment was 99 dollars. I get a bill for 153. What is a computer balance package. Crazy place in oxford PA. Hidden fees these people lied. Don't go too these people. Goodyear is rite down the street. read more

I've been with this Mavis since they have opened and have NOTHING bad to say! People complain about silly things like appointments, that's because they want a vehicle fixed now. They do good work and right the first tome and ALWAYS work with you. The complaints I read are untrue and are written by complaining people. read more

Stopped in the store today to see about getting four new tires. Was told to go home and order on line. Went to Firestone got for new tires.

Went in for back drum brakes, said everything was bad, wheel cylinders, hardware and drums. Price- $567. Are you kidding me. I look at the drums, didn't need them. I'm sorry I let them do the wheel cylinders at 60 a pcs. It took them 4 hours and way too Expensive. Will not go back. read more

Stopped by shortly before closing without an appointment due to a tire emergency. They got me right in, plugged the hole in my tire, and got me on my way for no charge. There are still good people in this world, and Brian at Mavis is one of them. Many thanks for their help, I highly recommend Mavis to anyone wanting outstanding service. read more

We got a flat tire on my husbands M6 BMW. While the tire is an off the wall size that literally no one carries so he could not actually help us. Takes 2 hours to change two tires. And if you make an appointment it ain't worth shit they need some people who know how to work in here

I'm writing to inform you of the terrible customer service received by the STS in Oxford, PA. I reached out to STS to have work done on my A/C compressor. The job in all was precisely quoted at $630. I setup the appointment and when I dropped the car off the Manager increases the price by $190. He completely changed his mind once we were in the store. After the increase, STS was no longer competitive with the other quotes I received. Instead of establishing a new mechanic relationship we will never use STS for future maintenance and repair needs. Lastly, the representative lacked in showing any sort of professional attitude or sympathy for the extreme inconvenience this incompetent quote caused. read more

Extremely poor customer service from "David" at the Oxford location. After spending ALOT of money on four of the best Michelin tires & alignment, he could at least have the courtesy to ask me if I was satisified or any questions. Nope! Just asked for my credit card, didn't even give me a total $ amount, I had to ask. The total was also more than what I was quoted & when questioned he got very annoyed, and no explaination why. Then handed card back to me with receipt & walked away. No thank you, or have a good day or anything. Just plain rude! read more

Thank you so much to Jose! Found a screw in my tire before I had to leave to go back to Jersey with my two kids and needed to find an auto shop quick before the holiday. Didn't have an appointment and was taken care of right on the spot. Very friendly and much appreciated in the time of need and quality of service was exceptional. I would recommend this location for your auto needs. read more

After extremely poor customer service and price gouging at the store I called corporate and was able to get the tires I wanted at a reasonable price. Corporate was supposed to call the Oxford store and have the tires installed on my vehicle. When I called to check the status they where rude and told me that corporate called and said not to put the tires on and that it was my fault for not letting them know after corporate told me they would handle it then he hung up on me. when I called back I was told they didn't hang up then I was talked over untill I got mad and was hung up on a second time. When I called back was told I should not talk to them that way and was hung up on a 3 time. I picked my truck and left. read more

Don't count on it being a good experience, also don't trust that an appointment means that you will actually get your car fixed...

This place has horrible service!! Came in for a simple oil change, they said they would be able to bring it in in 40 minutes, it's been 1 hour and 45 minutes and I'm still waiting! Ridiculous!!! Don't come here unless you are dropping off and coming back later! read more

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. This is probably the worst experience I've ever had with a auto shop. Needed 2 tires and got an alignment, it was way over priced. My local mechanic says alignment was never done. The guy at the front, Dave, recommended getting all new brakes even though I didn't need them. I questioned him on it, he had no explanation. Completely clueless. Just out for your money. Not an honest operation. read more

So I go in for an oil change and to have my tires rotated. Not 50 miles later, I am going 57 mph and hear a horrible noise. Sounds like a flat tire. Drive it to another service station only to find out that my left back tire was ready to come off! The lug nuts were never tightened. I called, barely got an apology and just found a $10 coupon for being a "good customer." I'll never go back. read more
