This is by far the closest gas station to my home, before it opened I would either have to go down 12600 South to the often somewhat busy gas stations down there that are hard to get in and out of at times, or I'd have to cross over Bangerter Highway or even go to the Maverik close to the District. This one is perfectly located by the Wal-Mart superstore so if you're going there it's ultra handy, but what's best is I can be here and back to my home in less than 10 minutes since other than crossing 13400 South there's virtually no traffic. One thing I love about this store is the parking, it's well out the way of the store itself, and it has good sized parking spaces, very handy for those of us that drive big trucks. Service here has always been decent, and while it may not have quite the selection that larger stores have, it's certainly never let me down and has always had what I need. It's great, because for some things it can even save a trip into Wal-Mart, which I think many would agree is always a plus! Prices are of course a little higher, but it's comparable to other gas stations and honestly it's the convenience factor that is really the big winner here for me.

However, now other more convenient places have cropped up in the area it's not so much a staple for me - having to cross Bangerter Highway and its crazy intersections are not the things that make gas stations nor their stores convenient, and thus negates what they are unless they are closely on your route. This one is great if you're coming from Herriman, beyond that it has always been a bit of a pain, always surrounded by construction, and due to there not being many other options in the past still a go to place. I actually feel bad for businesses in this area. However, my rating ignores this since it was a go to place for me for many years, always had great service and what it provides it does well. Businesses have little control on what goes on around them, so I'm still a fan and still someone who will visit when travelling Westwards from Riverton beyond Bangerter.

Gas stations dispense gas for cars. 2. Cars need gas to go. 3. Fusion power is not yet available to power vehicles (unlike in those lying Back to the Future movies). #2 makes #1 inherently required, you have to go somewhere. #3 is just annoying, but the fault of poor research by Hollywood. However, I think what puts Maverick above the curve is the stores themselves. And this particular location has a big, modern, clean store with plenty of variety of goods and has friendly service on almost every visit I've made. As a result of this and the fact to boot it also has plenty pumps so you can always get in without a wait to gas up makes this my gas station of choice. I try to support Maverick since while not a wholly local chain, it is one of the bigger ones in Utah and certainly limited to only a handful of Western states, many of which are the lesser populated ones.

So let's get down to basics - it's a convenience store. So does this location live up to that? I can say very much so, in that regard this one is very well situated on what is now a major East-West corridor in the South Valley and is super easy to get in and out of quickly. Service is friendly and it's a clean and generally well laid out store. Definitely one of the better 7-11 locations I've been to, and fairly reasonable prices when it comes to the food and beverage offerings, but for day to day commodities such as milk for example the grocery stores are still generally cheaper. I never get gas at 7-11 so I don't really have a frame of reference for how they compare on that front. Hopefully someone else steps up to review in that regard.

Clean with no visible trash laying about on the ground. After filling my tank I had to go inside. Turn left and you will find Nekter, the juice bar. I grabbed four shots. Gut Health, energy, liver detox and detox. I also grabbed a 24 ounce green juice. This juice bar has been open for two years. How have I missed it? Oh! It's in a gas station that I previously didn't patronize. Glad I changed. As I waited for my drink, I did a walkthrough and the inventory is plentiful, neat and orderly. The drink and coffee dispensers are clean and the supplies are neatly arranged. There are a large variety of snacks, jerky, ice cream, chips and candies. My new spot to get gas and fresh juice! Nothing is more annoying than to pull up to a gas pump, unbuckle your seatbelt, take the keys out…read moreof the ignition, unlock the locking gas cap, take your maverik card out, scan it so that you can get a discount off your gas, put your debit card in, take the nozzle out, put it in the gas tank, push the lever, and wait for your gas tank to fill up. After standing there for a few minutes, and nothing is happening, you come to find out that the gas pump is broken. Why in the world was there no out of order sign on the gas pump so I didn't waste my time? Put the gas cap back on, get back in the car, put the key in the ignition, drive to the other lane, do the same thing all over again, put the nozzle into the gas tank, push the button, it works this time, however, it goes at a snail's pace, and it took forever to get gas.
