They explain everything in a way that's easy to understand and really make safety a top priority, which helped me feel confident in the water. What really stood out to me was their patience--especially with my 12-year-old daughter. The instructors were so encouraging and supportive with her, taking the time to make sure she was comfortable and confident while still keeping things fun. As a parent, that meant everything. You can tell they truly care about their students and love what they do. Not only did he have a blast and leave the water with more confidence than ever, but they paid so much attention to his safety and experience that I have decided to sign up my nieces and nephews as well! As for leveling up certifications, they're the place to go! I'm in the rescue diver training now and have had such a wonderful, informative experience that I am already saving up for more specialty certifications. The Channel Islands had been on my diving list for quite some time. Had planned to make a SBI trip…read morewith two friends, who had to bail at the last minute. Ken was more than accommodating of the changes, and continued to roll with the punches the whole weekend. The group was around 15 experienced divers, all friendly and humble. Captain and crew were equally fun and skilled. We re-routed the trip based on weather, and ended up with average conditions, which in all respects were the best we could hope for at that point. Accommodations were clean, dry, and comfortable and sleeping wasn't an issue. Nitrox fills were $6 (air would have been free), and tanks were topped off promptly after each dive. A tip: skip the wetsuit in favor of a looser-fitting drysuit. Many wetsuits didn't fit by the end of the weekend thanks to the wonderful, plentiful food!

Everyone in Santa Barbara and vicinity was booked for a solid month and I needed to get certified within two weeks. Sheri patiently listened to my story and next day (after putting out some desperately-seeking-instructor messages), connected me with a fantastic instructor (Michael Francisco). Located on Catalina Island. LOL! I had not intended to make this extra three-day trip so close to my 2 week vacation, but hey... you do what you gotta do. And it was a truly educational and beautiful experience, which accomplished my goal and that I would not have known was an option had it not been for Sheri.  She also made a great recommendation for a scuba diving vacation location, which my instructor echoed. I went with their idea and was gifted an incredible diving trip. Sheri and my instructor continue to give me pointers about all kinds of things scuba-related and I am very grateful to have literally, stumbled upon such great resources. Chartered the sunfish for a two hour sunset whale watching cruise last night and it was incredibly…read morefun!!!! Roger was a terrific captain. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and just all-around awesome. Cheyenne was terrific as well. My group of 10 could not have had a better time. We weren't even sure we would see whales and we saw tons of them and we saw about 100 dolphins and adorable sea lions and other fish just swimming around our boat. What a phenomenal experience! So highly recommended!!!
