To whom it may concern,
I am a General Contractor in Jacksonville, FL and made an agreement with the Cagan Group to paint some of their apartments. The agreement was made between Brian Cagan and I. It was aggreed that I would give him volume pricing to paint 30+ apartments. Other wise the cost would have been more per unit. I also bought speciality mixed paint for his apartments. After painting only 12 units he went and hires another company to finish. He never complained about the service, quaility or the price. So here I was left with a broken agreement and materials I can not return or use on another project. After an invoice was turned in the Cagan Group was slow to pay (45-50 days) 30 days in normal with most businesses. Then they would not pay their late fees. I feel that Cagan Management Group lacks good business ethics and you should be made aware of their practices. I also believe when confronted will deny any allegations as this would not be out of character.
**If you are a potential renter I would really think if you want a management company that treats their vendors this way how would they treat their tenants!!
Oh buy the way one of the apartments had baby crap in the carpet and on the walls, another had pickle jars full of pee! and roaches everywhere! read more
