It…read morewas the first time in years I had departed from my normal routine and expert to try a different place. I loved that I could make an appointment online, with weekend appointments. It was on the east side, so that was a big win for me. I did have to pay a deposit for the appointment, I am guessing that is due to people no-showing. I walked in feeling very welcome as they had my name on a little board in front. The studio itself is really lovely and elegant looking. I will say up front they continue to take COVID protocols seriously which is very smart, and I did have to wear my mask the entire time which was totally fine. I was there about two hours for a fill. The young lady who took care of me was very professional and nice. It was clear she really took her profession seriously and was very informative about good lash care. She did a really nice job. My only negative was some light commentary on my current lashes and some criticism of that work. I know absolutely the quality of the lash care I have been getting for many years and it rubbed me the wrong way. I received a thank you email, phone call AND card post the appointment which I thought was an incredible touch. While I am absolutely loyal to my gal who owns her own salon and has been doing a beautiful job with me for 5+ years, I would definitely come here if I was in the market for a new permanent home for my lashes.

I called last minute to cancel my fill appointment and I knew going in they have a policy of charging 50% of the service you were planing on getting. That's fine and I can completely get on board with this policy but when they charged me $95 for a $70 service that I didn't get I start to wonder. I contacted them immediately and they said oops we had you down for a different service. I said ok but you charged full price and I did call you ahead of time. Oops we'll go fix that. This time they charged me half price for the service that I wasn't getting at all and was their mistake for putting it in the computer wrong. So AGAIN I contacted them and I was ignored. So I got charged $47.50 when it should have been $35. Now to a lot of people this isn't a lot of money but to me $12.50 is a lot of money to just toss away. So basically while I like the work they did I doubt I'll go back. I'm not one for tossing money in the trash like that.

This review is 100% honest and I have pictures to show. I have, once again, blocked her number. She is also the owner of the salon and this speaks volumes of their service. No customer should be threatened and harassed over and over again for leaving an honest review. Update. After writing this review I have received 11 harassing texts from Stephanie (the lash artist). I simply asked she be professional and also to respect my privacy and leave me alone. This has been the worst experience ever! The second picture is 2 weeks after I got the lashes. It has been so incredibly painful. Meh. After driving up to what looked like the most janky building in Tucson I wasn't surprised to see the quality of the interior. The whole placed smelled of mildew. The lash quality looks good, but I could feel chunks of glue hitting my lower lash area when I closed my eyes. It's REALLY uncomfortable. The lashes started falling out the first day. I took extra care of them, but they kept falling out. I washed them gently with baby soap and huge chunks of glue came off. I'm kind of glad to have them fall out quickly because it was just painful having them on. I had Stephanie, and I'm sure she usually does a great job, but I'm sorry to say I wasn't impressed.

She asked what style I wanted and I showed her a picture and she confidently said she could do it. 3hrs later and a very uncomfortable experience with what felt like my lashes were being plucked out, i got a completely different look than what I showed her. Apparently I was charged for a "custom set" but it looks like a classic mega lash. My eyes have been red, swollen, and itchy since. I fear that my natural lashes are damaged due to the roughness of the application process . Despite me explaining this to her after my appointment, she just said she can do a free fix and she doesn't do refunds because "you should have read my policy". I just personally would not recommend going here for lashes, especially for the price.
