Knowing that we will be doing some upgrades to our house, and since I needed a specific cleaner that it said they had in stock, in the store, I thought I would stop in quick before they close at their crazy hours of 7-5. I've never heard of a hardware store that closes at 5 pm. Most people who need supplies during the week are doing their repairs after they work their 8+hour shift. When I walked in, there was one female behind a counter/desk, from which she glanced up, did not acknowledge me, even though I clearly and loudly said "hi" and waited for someone to appear to ask me if I needed help finding anything. Nothing. As I walked down the aisle that supposedly had the cleaner I was looking for, no one ever even acknowledged my presence. As I was leaving, I heard the doorbell ring alerting someone that the door was being opened, but again...nothing. Needless to say, I won't be back. Unfortunately, this is the reason so many people choose to go to the big box stores. They can get a bigger selection, lower price, and probably the same service that I just did at Lampert's.
