Well gosh, you need to too! The store is several rooms chocked full of true antiques, plus lots of interesting vintage items, and even an area with (new) amazing candles. Apparently Suzanne, the friendly and charming owner, got the collecting bug from her father. This store is in part, a tribute and honor to him (check out the framed newspaper article by the cash register). Suzanne is delightful and I found the prices extremely fair. While I needed, planned on nothing, I went home with several items. The gorgeous stained glass lampshade was (OMG OMG) only $12.00! And instead of looking for a lamp based, I decided to simply display as a 'bowl'. Suzanne, you will definitely be seeing me on my next trip to Dixon. Mr. Quinn told us that we would have it either the same day, or the next. We didn't want our ring shipped off for multiple weeks, so this was an obvious choice. We dropped our ring off at 1pm, and we were called at 530pm that it was finished. The gentleman that completes resizes comes in Thursday's and Friday's every week. Mr. and Mrs. Quinn were very professional and courteous, and explained how different ring styles can alter the size of the ring when compared to the size of the finger. My ring was sized down from a 7.25 to a 6.5, and all scratches--including a deep gouge from my tungsten ring--were buffed out for $62. The price for just a sizing was around $45.
