They are a favorite place to stop on First Fridays, when I can hardly get in the door! And the stream of new and fun fashions and accessories is non-stop. Service is friendly and personal, too. Still one of my favorite stops. This is like shopping in a dear friend's great closet. Although the store is tiny, the variety always surprises me, and the service can't be beat. I find interesting items I find nowhere else, and while their prices are consistent with other stores, their sale items make them more affordable. There is even a comfortable place to sit! I have purchased tops, purses, outerwear, scarves, jewelry, and other items. Easy to miss since it is north of Casa Bonita and before the train tracks, up a couple of stairs. But with such a uniquely-vintage location and terrific items and service, it is worth the extra steps. Easy parking right in front, or in the copious parking lots around the corner on Lake Street. No I do not work for them - I am just a huge fan and want to be sure they stay in town!

I was rudely and obtusely interrupted by a villainous voice Telling me to "take the baby and go back to the pizza place" (twice). First of all you may have private parking signs but however no private property signs that are clearly visiblE. I am not from Wisconsin but well versed in law. Per Wisconsin law there is nothing stating in the statutes for pedestrians or private property of the like that prohibits pedestrians from walking through a parking lot. Also at the time there was a Fontana Police Officer that was sitting not 50 yards from us in plain sight. Please next time you decide to try to "flex" whatever privilege you think you have and think twice from insulting a 1 year old and her father. This has significantly changed my thoughts of this place and thank you for being the voice and representative of this community and single handedly ruining it. They have a sign about "Military Mondays" for military and veterans discount. I asked about that, being a veteran. The cashier had to call someone over who had to call a manager as no one seemed to know anything about the sign posted at every register. The 'manager' comes over and tries to sell us a Kohls card, of which I already have. Then tells me it's a 30% discount to use it, versus the 15% for military/veterans. That was irritating. Then it seemed to be a big deal to figure out how to apply any discount to my small purchase. He finally figured out the brand 'didn't qualify.' I asked how I would know when shopping on a Monday what brands would qualify, "It's an ever growing list." (of exclusions) "So I wouldn't know until I checked out?" "Yes, basically. I don't know every brand off the top of my head." Not how to go about handling an inquiry, but ok. "Can I check the website?" "Maybe. It's an ever growing list." "Of excluded brands?" "um Yes. Ya know things like Underarmor, Nike, ya know." I actually don't know, hence why I'm asking. It seemed such an inconvenience to even ask about their posted "Military Monday." The other side has home goods and a flower counter. (I'd come back here for flowers.) I feel this place has a very specific demographic. (55+ community) My mother in law would love it. For me... I'd rather shop at places where my imagination and creative juices flow, versus someone else's curated marketing.
