I called several companies for bids and was shocked at the prices. The highest was over $28,000 for a full tear-off and replacement. That was far beyond what I could afford to replace my roof. In my research I learned that Hawaii allows up to three layers of roofing, which meant I could add a second layer and avoid the costly tear-down. Unfortunately, many of the larger companies wouldn't even consider this 2nd layer option, so I kept searching. That's when I found Dave Bushnell with Right On Roofing. Dave is a small business owner who handles the roofing work himself, without the big overhead costs of truck fleets and crews to worry about. Dave understood my situation and agreed to install the second layer of roofing at a price I could manage.
