The work was performed as scheduled and to our expected quality (that, coming from a finicky engineer). There were no surprises at all. I cannot express our gratitude for RC Construction. We are thrilled with our house remodel! Our home suffered hail damage to the roof, windows, doors, decking, and stucco. We filed a claim with our insurance company. The insurance company only offered to replace some windows. Like most people, my wife and I did not know what our insurance contract actually covers and how to deal with insurance companies. Rafael knows this well, studies it, has personal consultants, has years of experience dealing with insurance companies and has a good relationship with Mark at Compass Adjusting. Together, they explained the policy and expectations. One phone call and one meeting later and we had committed with one rule: RC will only repair what is agreed to with the insurance company; we want zero out-of-pocket expenses. Keeping in mind the insurance company tried to get away with replacing only a few windows, the final project (ALL covered by insurance!) included flat roof repairs, roof drainage/gutter repairs, 22 new windows, 2 new doors, all new stucco, deck repairs, interior wall repairs, and complete interior paint. RC Construction and Compass Adjusting managed the insurance company so we never had to make even a phone call to the insurance company. We just sat back and let them do their thing! Referring to a previous review: Keep in mind, most contractors use sub contractors. Some of them also use their own subcontractors. RC has a great team of subs - most of them know each other through their church. All were in our house daily for 6 months and we had no issues with any of them. They were all great people! Still, it's up to us as home-owners to know what we're committing to, set agreed-to expectations and we shouldn't be writing reviews before the work is done. Part of that work includes a walk-through and (usually) final touch-ups. It has now been 3 months since our remodel was finished. The only thing we had to call them back on was that we found the window manufacturer had 2 wrong handles on the windows. One right-opening had a left handle on it and one left-opening had a right handle on it. No biggie - their window sub came out and switched them. We are very, very happy with the work done by RC Home Improvements!!!

First I have to speak to the speed at which everything got started. We used Home Advisor to find Tom on a Sunday evening and they came out for an estimate Monday morning and began work that evening! The work completed look great and we have no complaints at all. New tile, drywall and painting. Vanity, toilet and lighting installation as well. I requested to add little things here and there and he was very accommodating. The process at which he uses to show you the estimated costs, update those as the job goes on and request payment was great! His workers were courteous, well mannered, and respectful of the house coming and going during the day. We did all of this with a 9month old baby in the house as well and it was a great experience! I called Tom and he came out the following day and gave me a bid on a job to remodel my master…read morebathroom. As a way to cut down costs, I purchased all of the tile ahead of time and all the appropriate backer board, and I demolished the wood step by the tub and removed all the carpet, nails, staples, linoleum flooring and glue. Tom let me know what he would charge and he stuck firmly with that bid, from start to finish. He was very professional, easy to work with and communicated when he would be on site to work. I would highly recommend Tom to install any tile job you need. He works well and helped me install my toilet back into place and install all new trim after the tile was completed. Did I mention he put in a heated floor for me as well.....yeah.....he's definitely someone that I would hire in the future!!!! Thank you TOM!!!

After I made an offer on a house, the inspector found a fairly major issue with the tile roof. My…read morerealtor called his buddy at Western Property Services, and they came out within the hour and gave an opinion. A few days later, WPS provided an estimate for a total roof replacement. I recovered the cost of a new roof at closing, but I also had 'hot water solar panels' on the roof. These had to be removed before they replaced the roof. Kevin recommended a company for removal of the panels. With a 'tile' tear-off, I expected the job to take 3 days. Angel's crew completed the job in 1.5 days, including additional decking and structural modifications. Western Property Services may be pricier than the competition, but as I don't mind paying for quality, they seem to provide a great service.

Both Adam and Kevin are condescending when talking with a woman, and honestly, talking to men also if you disagree with their assessment. Communication was horrid and we had to call or email constantly to get an update of any kind. A specific portion of our roof was a crap job but "They" couldn't see anything wrong. Freaking ridiculous. Everyone that looked at it said, "What's up with that section? It looks like crap." They finally agreed to redo that area "if it would make us happy." How about do the job right and admit when your crew messed up?? It took their subcontractor 2 weeks to put the gutters on the house, because the gutter crew kept being sent to other houses instead of finishing ours. Then we had to have their gutter contractor come back no less than 4 times because the new gutters leaked! On top of everything else, their supplier didn't put the roofing materials onto the roof like they were suppose to, so guess who had to fork out more money for them to take the stuff up to the roof? US. To the tune of over $1000. They knew the supplier didn't put them on the roof when they came to count the material, but no "extra charge" was mentioned until we were upset about the lack of communication and the quality of the work. THEN and only then were we hit with the extra charges. We would definitely discourage anyone from using Western Property Services, and if anyone should ask us for a roofer recommendation, we intend to explain, in full detail, our aggravating and dissatisfied experience.

Buyer's remorse Had…read morelandscaping work done a couple years ago to include a drip system. His top guy used a cracked ball valve which he soldered the crack. It failed this past winter. Had to pay another company to repair it. In a addition, a part of the drip system was not even hooked up to a water source even asked to have caps put on the sprinkler risers which did not happen. Now the new company has to dig up the turf which was installed to repair the drip lines which were messed up. Could write more about other projects I have seen but forget this guy, Wasted my money ;do not waste yours. Your project will not be complated on time nor on budget. All of his associates knew exactly what was going on with the projects, even if Kyle wasn't around. When the workers were working on my neighbors yard, I would ask about my project and they were able to answer the questions. The communication really impressed me. I will be using them in the future.
