Our military-provided movers did a fantastic job transporting most of our belongings from Chicago…read more However, we saw this move out east as the perfect opportunity to update some of our furniture--some of which, let's just say, had a very 1982 look. From the moment I walked into Wally's, I knew I was in the right place. The friendly floor staff helped me find a new bedroom set for the primary suite, along with a beautiful dining room set. I appreciated how knowledgeable they were without being overbearing or pushy. They were also incredibly patient with my little one, who had his own Princess and the Pea moment in the mattress section. Thank you, Wally's team, for making this military mama's new house feel like home after my husband's transfer--even if it isn't Chicago!

While I was impressed with the in stock furniture and customer service when I was purchasing , my opinion changed when I had an issue with an expensive piece of outdoor furniture. I had the chair less than 30 days when it fell apart. I contacted them and was told I would receive a call back later that day which I did not get. Finally I received a call asking for pictures and serial number. I was then sent an email if I had any questions to contact them. I asked if they would replace the chair since it was practically new and I heard no response. I told them since this was a vacation home I would like to quickly resolve this as we would be closing up the house shortly. Again no response. I followed up two days later with a phone call first thing in the morning and was told the manager and her boss were there and she would call me right back with an answer which never happened. I called an hour before closing to see what the answer was and I was told by the manager what did I expect! It was her birthday and a holiday weekend plus they were busy all day with customers. I guess once they have your money you are no longer a customer. To make matters worse the manager said in his opinion I should apologize to the sales person because he felt I was being unreasonable. Really! All I wanted was answers not attitude. Will be purchasing the rest of my furniture somewhere else.

Decent coastal furniture, most available by order and wait for delivery. Good selection. POOR…read moreCustomer service. We ordered a bedroom set with two beds. It took twice as long as promised. It was difficult to get them on the phone while waiting, so we had to go back to the store for updates. When it was delivered the drawer was broken, the wood rail inside was splintered. The delivery guy said he was NOT skilled in repair, but he jammed a few screws in the wood and the drawer worked. He said to call the office and they would send someone out. If I had gotten a great price I may have let it go, but we PAID full price. I did call, and they explained they had a death in the family. They lost their repair guy, so rather than screw around he said he would order me a new dresser and replace it. I offered him to refund me a small amount on the dresser and I would hire my own repair guy. He declined and said I should get a new one. That was over a year ago. We never got it. Several calls were not returned. From our experience, they have coastal furniture, just don't expect discounts, timely delivery, or follow up service. You get what you get.

I drive out of my way just to shop at the Target in Somerset, NJ from about 25 minutes away because…read moreit's by far one of the best and most organized Targets around, at least for me personally. What really stands out is that if something says it's in stock online, it's actually there in the store. That might seem like a small thing, but for me, it's huge. There's nothing more frustrating than making the trip to a store, only to find out the item you need isn't available. Somerset's Target gets it right, and that reliability keeps me coming back. The store itself is clean, well-organized, and always stocked with new items. The clothing section is a standout--everything is in order, the selection is great, and they consistently have smaller sizes like smalls and extra smalls, which is practically a miracle. On my most recent trip, I picked up winter boots, tights, and new undershirts, all of which were exactly what I needed. For basic wardrobe essentials, this is the place to go, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you're getting. It's not bargain-basement cheap, but the value is there--these are items that will last, which makes them well worth the price. The makeup department is another highlight. It's well-lit, spotless, and incredibly well-organized, which makes browsing so much easier. You can tell the staff takes pride in keeping everything tidy, and it really enhances the shopping experience. Speaking of the staff, they're actually helpful here--not just pointing in the general direction of something but genuinely making an effort to assist. That level of service, combined with the quality and selection, really sets this location apart. While I do wish they stayed open later, I understand that's not something the local team can control. Even with the earlier closing time, I'll continue making the extra trip to shop here. Somerset's Target consistently delivers a better experience and excellent value, and it's well worth the drive. I Highly highly recommend going to this Target !

She also didn't know for sure if she would close at 5 or 5:30. When I visited there was no customer service at all. An open door which I believe went to living quarters was cluttered and someone was dealing with a fussy kid. Pricing was weird. Sign outside said 50%. Inside each handwritten tag had prices crossed off. A used nothing special apron had $12 crossed off than $7, than $2, so was half price off the 2?
