Fun fact: owning a piece of Lovesac furniture has been a goal of mine since high school. Prior to…read moremyself and my friends finding out the importance of commission for the staff, we'd crash on the giant bean bag sacs in this store. So stopping in and ordering my first couch here (well, a sactional) was pretty darn satisfying.
In terms of its layout the store itself has actually changed a lot with time, and for the better; it has a very modern and sleek look, and it's easy to wander through the place getting a feel for the furniture. Plus, as you're thinking about your purchase possibilities you can actually use little building blocks to figure out different configuration options and best determine just how many pieces of furniture you need to order. I found this trick to be very helpful in visualizing how the many pieces I had to purchase, seeing as Lovesac's furniture is primarily of the bean bag or the "assembly required" variety.
More importantly, the experience I had at the Lovesac store was a smooth one - mostly; I think the first woman I spoke to while explaining what I needed was still kind of new, as she was very chatty (and not just about the sale) and kind of wandered off before I finished making my selection. But, the gentleman that I worked with for the second half of my purchase was great, and between the two of them I was in and out with my order in about an hour. So ultimately, no serious complaints with the staff at all.
I admit, though, good experience or not, the biggest reason folks stay away from Lovesac is its pricing. If you purchase something here, you better like it, because for what you pay it's staying with you for a long time to come. Fortunately, as long as you're committed to your purchase, these guys have a pretty great interest-free payment period - so if you can't afford to drop the full price of a Lovesac piece in one go, you'll be ok for a couple of years, give or take (depending on any timely promotions and agreements you sign when making your purchase).
The only "warning" (if that's the right word) I feel that I need to offer here, is be ready to put some serious work into assembling your purchase once it arrives. And of course it won't all arrive in one shipment, so you'll need to be ready to store the giant boxes that do arrive while waiting for the rest of them. But I also have to say, as I sit on my completed sactional, that it's worth it. I couldn't be happier with my choice.
As long as you're looking for furniture that will stick with you for years and years to come, I highly recommend stopping into Lovesac and finding out if their furniture options would work in your home. They will ultimately take some work, especially as you first unpack them, but the way I see it, their versatility makes that completely worth it.
