The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering our questions in our search for the right mattress for us. They didn't try to push us out of our budget range like most salespeople do, they even matched and beat a competitors price to gain our business. If you're anything like me, you HATE salesmen. Most of the time I deal with a sales person, I get the same anxious feeling in my stomach because I think they're just going to try and sell me the most expensive thing they've got. Well, I won't lie. For the first 20 minutes, I though that was happening at Mattress Warehouse, but after the mattress rep left and it was just the sales person and I, the truth came out. The manager of the store gave me the real down and dirty on how mattress companies operate, I told her what I like and what I hate about mattresses, and she lead me to the right mattress for me. If you're ever at the Mattress Warehouse on Hempstead Rd in Lancaster, PA, don't talk to anyone but Cici Deleone. She doesn't sleep in a bed of lies, and if you deal with her, neither will you! read more

BUYER BEWARE...We Initially had a great experience.... CiCi was great to deal with but her customer service skills after the sale are lacking. She has yelled at both myself and my husband and hung the phone up on us! Getting help from the Business office has also been lacking and our issue remains unresolved. Would I go there again...never. Don't waste your money on this place. Recently purchased a mattress and box spring and this has been the worst experience in my life. LEE who claims to be a manager yelled at me several times on the phone, misrepresented forms that he had me sign and now I want to return the product because I am not satisfied and he says I signed forms acknowledging that I can't. The forms state no return on the receipt in size 1 font that no one could read. The customer service dept has no idea on how to help people in these situations. Buyer beware. First of all we placed our order and were told by our salesperson everything was in stock and should have delivery the next day, which was great. The next day the drivers show up without half the order. I contact our sales rep and was told they would look into it and get back to me. The manager called and said it is on back order and there is no indication of when the headboard would come in stock, and for the inconvenience they would issue a $80 refund, that was 3 weeks ago and still haven 't seen the inconvenience refund. We have since cancelled the order for the headboard after 3 weeks of waiting and they still dont have a eta. Our sale rep said they would issue a refund by our debit card to expedite the refund for all the issues. Well that hasn't happen either as the salesperson called back after I made a special trip into the store to handle the refund and said their Corporate headquarters refuses to do it and will issue a check that will take 3 to 4 weeks to receive, understand haven't received the first refund yet either. Just a very disappointing experience, especially for the significant amount of money we spent that day. I will never do business with them again and will make sure others make an educated decision when thinking of doing business with them as well. Unfortunately this matter is going to escalate into legal proceeding and filing complaints with the AG's office and BBB. read more

For more than a year my husband and I researched mattresses since we both knew the investment would be a large one and didn't want to make a bad decision or loose money on returns if the mattress wasn't the one we needed. We visited other mattress stores and decided after 3-4 visits to Mattress Warehouse and spending time with CiCi and doing the mattress "test" twice, we decided on an iComfort mattress with the understanding that if it did not work out for us (since my husband has a very bad back) it could be returned (no fees or penalties) and/or exchanged. That was mentioned and discussed each time we visited the showroom with CiCi. After a few weeks we knew this mattress was not the one for us. We went back to M.W. to discuss what the best way to resolve our problem would be. We were told we had to wait and sleep on the mattress to make an honest assessment of it's comfort. While there we laid on the same style mattress we purchased only to immediately realize the firmness was not the same as the mattress that was delivered to us. It was alarmingly firmer and more supportive. Since CiCi was with other customers we had to deal with a gentleman who basically told us it was all in our heads and if we really thought the mattresses had a different firmness we would have to have an independent mattress tester come to our home and test the mattress to make sure it wasn't defective...which we agreed to. We were also told unless the mattress is determined defective we would have to pay a $200.00 disposal fee plus another $250.00 up-charge for another mattress. The mattress could not be "returned" for our money back. Totally unacceptable. It's been over 2 weeks since the inspection has taken place and we have heard no word from M.W. or the testing company as to what the results were. Time is running out on our trial period and I'm afraid we will be stuck with a $2500.00 mattress we can't sleep on! Buyer beware of the promises made to make a sale. read more

We stopped in to Mattress Warehouse after we shopped at Costco. CiCi met us at the door. She was very low pressure, but very professional. We went through the surprisingly effective scientific sleep analysis, and it provided us with a very good starting point for our selection. She worked out a great deal for us, and included the free financing, and we bought a great new mattress and pillows! Kudos to Mattress Warehouse for a positive experience altogether. read more

Hi, my family and I went to this location of Mattress Warehouse and was ignored. No greetings, nothing. I understand the only sales person in the store was sitting at his desk helping a couple with ordering, however, a decent, "Hi folks, I'll be right with you" would have worked wonders. As it was the woman of the couple in the store kept staring at us which was creepy. We browse the mattresses but you can only go so far when there are no prices attached to anything. I had $2000.00 at my disposal and was ready to purchase two beds for my two kids but I guess this store don't like money. Lucky for me I took my money to Mattress Firm and they took great care of us like free delivery and setup, free waterproof mattress pads and both beds with box springs and frames came to under $1400.00. Word of advice to Mattress Warehouse, acknowledge people and you would have way more business then your empty store represents. read more
