Disappointed with the Quality - Not Worth the Investment…read more I purchased outdoor furniture from Casual Comfort by EG Outdoor Products through Leaders Furniture in Vero Beach, FL in 2024, spending approximately $11,000. While the furniture looks beautiful and initially seemed like a good value for recycled plastic, the quality has been incredibly disappointing. The biggest issue is how easily the material scratches. I bought a 7-foot bar with four swivel chairs (around $869 each)--and three are already badly scratched, despite normal, careful use. I also purchased six Adirondack-style chairs, and one of those is significantly scratched as well. The bar itself has been scratched multiple times and was sent back for repair through the dealer. When it was returned, it came back with new scratches in different areas. That's unacceptable, especially after such a large investment. For outdoor furniture marketed as durable, this level of fragility just doesn't hold up. The design is attractive, but the durability and quality simply aren't there. I can't recommend this product. It may look nice, but at this price point, you should expect materials that last--not furniture that scratches so easily.

I guess this is the kind of customer service you get from people just out of drug rehab? Now I have to go to District Court and sue them to recover the cost of cleaning plus the two rugs that are gone. As a parent I can definitely say that I would not want any of these creeps working in my home. Especially, if you have small children or any items of value that can be easily pawned. My wife and I drove out from Pittsburgh to visit a number of vendor's showrooms. We'd already…read morespent time in Amish areas of Ohio. While various vendors (including online order sites ) do sell items made by the same shops, we value and want to reward (so to speak) the showrooms that educate, help customize, and allow one to see/feel/touch items of interest or similar-enough, in any case. Caleb was our primary point of contact to order two highly customized chairs, a custom keystone table to go between them, and one ottoman. One of the customizations was one I could find on no website anywhere for the manufacturer we had chosen. Caleb contacted them and navigated all our demanding requests with patience and cheer and, generally, in a reasonable time frame (we were erratic on our end a bit, too -- give and take). Our estimate was 2-4 months and we were called exactly at 3months. They held the items for several days until I could drive out, helped load things up, and just happened to have some fresh sweet rolls to share! (I loved that the kids were selling some 3D printed parts they designed in a CAD package just inside the store.) I trusted they had checked everything over and belive they had -- We got home and found everything to be absolutely perfect. Beautiful select+ grade QSWO, well-selected, constructed, and finished. $5200 for two chairs, the table, and an ottoman actually seems fair given the quality. These are our first non-IKEA or hand-me-down furniture items and we are proud to own them. We will be buying a new dining table and chairs from them in the future, no doubt. One note: My wife and I had forgotten her reclining chair had an internal lever that is sorta' hidden by the cushion AND also needed to figure out how the backs slid and clicked into place. While I'm a handy engineer and this was easy enough, I could imagine some folks might have benefitted from a little instruction. Perhaps that was not given as Caleb personalizes service, I dunno. As per another's recent trouble here on yelp, there is only so much any vendor can do with long lead times from Amish workshop partners. Given my initial experiences and interactions, I can can't imagine they would do anything but follow the Golden Rule in helping reasonable customers.

I…read morevisited recently on my search for raw materials to duplicate a stacked stone landscaping wall. I have a contractor on standby, willing to do the work if I supply the materials. I've been carrying around one of the stones to match up but am finding most stone yards have business hours the same as I work. Fortunately I was able to get to Penn Stone since they're located in Lancaster City by the Clipper Stadium before closing with some time to browse. I went inside their office to inquire on how this works. A nice gentleman took my name and wrote it on a long piece of yellow tape. This is how you "tag" your materials, similar to how you would a Christmas tree. He lead me straight to the area I needed to be after looking at my sample stone. I was able to find a pretty close match within 5 minutes. Here's when things got tripped up. A skid is $290 and included delivery, however they don't deliver that small of quantity. So you have to tag, pay, and wait until they get a big order in your area (not even a bunch of small orders) for it to be delivered. While he said they are in my area "often", with a contractor on standby there was just too many variables to commit. I even offered to pay extra for delivery with a firm day, which they said they can't do. The stone yard is only 5 miles away. I wish they had more delivery options available. I did find their prices inline with other local stone supplies I've researched online. Who knows, if I am able to work something out with my contractor I may be back to place the order, however do feel that's a pretty crappy policy for delivery. Also worth noting, while the office closes at 5, the stone yard is only available till 4:30 - it's dirty, uneven, and dusty, although organized well if you know what you're looking for. Be mindful of what shoes you wear. I came straight from the office so my sandals were filthy when I left. Parking was also confusing - I had no idea where I should park so I parked in the stone yard itself. If coming from the east, be careful as there's a blind corner you need to cross to access their property and cars were flying thru. There's a nice "sample" outdoor space highlighting some of the products available that's beautiful and could be a source of inspiration or a relaxing spot to decide on how to proceed.
