Because sleep and comfortably is so important, I never made the plunge on an online mattress before being able to try it. And WOW! I am so glad I didn't. Today I bought a mattress at Mattress Outlet literally faster than I've ever purchased anything else! It probably took me longer to park the car on my way in - hah! I walked in, sat on some beds, and when I was assisted by the manager, I told him I was looking for a queen mattress for a platform bed, firm, and that I am BROKE! I found a mattress I really liked (Sorrel firm), but it was a lout of my price range at close to $629. He informed me those prices are the competitors prices and that I could get this mattress with delivery within less than 48 hours for $300! Wow! Sold. Literally. I can't believe I waited so long to stop in. This is 100% the best place to purchase a mattress in town. It comes with a 10 year warranty, as well. I highly recommend. I am very excited for my mattress delivery this Wednesday. I was even told they would take it to my bedroom upstairs. Yes!!!! Best deal!

Honestly save your money. He talks a big game and will try to convince you he's the best option but…read morethe store is shady and he'll give you excuses on why it looks that way but then say he's been there for 14 years and it looks like he just took over an abandoned building. I bought a couch, queen bed frame, dresser, mattress and nightstand. First couch I recieved was the wrong one. He did replace it but then he told me I would get my bedroom set within a couple days and kept pushing the date back twice a week. when I purchased the set he gave me a set price did not break down the price for each item. So when I canceled the order at 4 weeks he only refunded half of the money I paid. I would have NEVER purchased the couch for that amount to begin with and because he didn't itemize everything I couldn't argue the amount refunded. I believe he did that on purpose from the beginning, knowing he wasn't going to give me the bedroom stuff so he could rip me off for the couch.

Tara was the employee who checked me out at the register just now. She was so kind. While I waited for my turn, I saw her answer two phone calls made to the store and very quickly, kindly, and efficiently handled the matter on the phone while not disrupting or holding up the people in her line. The woman in front of me did not speak English as her first language, and Tara was so patient and sweet while helping her, speaking slowly and clearly to help the woman as she was deciding to use a coupon to make a purchase. She even encouraged her to come back tomorrow for more sales! I am so impressed with Tara's kind customer service skills, something you don't see often anymore, especially at chain stores. After interacting with her, I know I will come back to this location!

Note: this location is now Ashley Outlet, and not the standard Ashley HomeStore…read moreI was considering a new bedroom suite and went into this Ashley Outlet store to look around. A salesperson greeted me and guided me to the bedroom area. Since I mentioned that I wanted to look around, he allowed me to do so and went elsewhere and checked in with me a few minutes later. I found one design that was marked as a floor sample and ready to be sold at a discounted price. I told the salesperson that I was interested but not ready to commit at that moment as I had a few other places I needed to visit while in Greenville. I did return a few hours later, and the floor sample had a new even more discounted price. We did the transaction and started the process of having it delivered. I was a bit shocked to have to wait about two weeks for an on the premises floor sample bedroom suite to be delivered to my home. Regretfully the selected time for delivery conflicted with my work schedule, so I asked a neighbor to supervise the delivery. The neighbor knew where the bed and dresser were to be put in the room, and the delivery folks put them in those spots. However, they did not center the placement of the bed and the dresser, which were clearly not centered in this small room. It was noticeably off-center to the naked eye. I had to get a couple of neighbors to come over so we could move the furniture into its proper places. I am pleased with the quality of the furniture, the discounted price, and the salesperson.
