I had a simply outstanding experience dealing with this talented and principled family business. After the end of military career, and having accepted a work from home position, I wanted something special to top my desk and preferred to keep the craftsmanship local to NC. The Noble family worked with me, maintained patience through my droughts of communication and made sure to get it right. I could not be more satisfied with the experience from beginning to end. All of this at a fantastic price! read more

The tables were beautiful. Through out research the cost benefit was better making and designing our own tables than purchasing something for the same price or more. The service was good. Things to consider is that the time of creating the table may vary. Delivery times may vary. I really appreciated the different selection options of chairs, tables, sizes or designs. read more

I highly recommend Carolina Homestead! Justin was a joy to work with. Very customer friendly. He was responsive, helpful, and delivered my table and chairs promptly. My table and chairs are gorgeous. Very well made. Justin took my vision and turned it into the perfect table and 8 chairs. I had priced furniture store tables. Which had no individual style, think cookie cutter. And were very expensive. Instead of settling for an ordinary, yet expensive table, I now have a one of a kind, reasonably priced, extraordinary table. Thank you, Justin. You and your family are what "made in America" looks like. read more

Carolina Farmstead was a wonderful experience for us! I wanted a large enough farmhouse style table to seat six comfortably. I was concerned about matching my current chairs as I wanted to continue using them. Working with Matt and Justin to come up with my vision of exactly what I needed, was a joy. The beautiful, well crafted, quality table that was delivered could not be more perfect. It exceeded what I had hoped for and was delivered with care. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them with any future wood furniture needs. If you are searching for a beautiful, one of a kind piece, stop looking and give them a call. read more

OMGoodness, I am absolutely thrilled with my new dining room table! Carolina Farmstead has created the perfect table for me. I wanted a new farm-style table for our dining room but it had to coordinate with our Henkle Harris cherry corner cabinet, sideboard and chairs. Justin was able to match the shade perfectly after sending samples for me to compare. My gorgeous table is 84" long so plenty of room for family dinners and the beveled edges on the boards are perfect. It was ready on time and white-glove delivered....I simply LOVE it. Couldn't have found a better furniture maker anywhere..glad that digging found Justin and Carolina Farmstead! read more

Carolina Farmstead - Farm table, beveled boards and my table has tapered legs. - Furniture Stores Near Me - Snow Hill, North Carolina

My wife and I were looking for a table to use in our soon to be newly remodeled kitchen but could never find exactly what we wanted. We had almost given up and then we found Carolina Farmstead, which just happened to be within a couple of hours drive of our home. After contacting Justin for the first time, we were invited to come to their shop and see how their tables are made, look closer at their table designs and the materials and finishes used. It was such a wonderful experience to visit and learn, and the Carolina Farmstead family (they really are a family) were such accommodating people to all our wishes for our table, down to the last detail. We choose the Fancy Fixin's table with a bench on one side and chairs on the other. The table is absolutely stunning, there aren't stronger words to use. Just stunning. We have had so many people just marvel at the craftsmanship of this furniture. On top of that, Justin referred us to unfinished chairs that went very well with the look of the table. It was amazing how they matched a finish to the chairs that went perfectly with the rustic look of the table. I would highly recommend letting Carolina Farmstead stain and finish your matching chairs! The entire experience was just wonderful, from design to delivery, and I already have plans for Carolina Farmstead to make us a customized desk table for our study. They have customers forever. I just can't say enough about their customer service, craftsmanship, and pride in their work. If you are looking for a family heirloom, Carolina Farmstead should certainly be on your radar. read more

We love our custom designed and made table. Justin was so kind and responsive. We love the story of this family, and we are proud to have their table in our home. I ordered 4 custom tables from Carolina Farmstead for Triangle Curling Club. We wanted a rustic look (with reclaimed barn wood to match the interior design of our warm room) and sturdy enough to hold up to years of broomstacking (post curling sharing of food and drink). Justin and his team worked with us, creating exactly what we wanted (actually even nicer than we imagined). The tables were delivered and put in place. Great folks to work with and the product is gorgeous! read more

I love the Fancy Fixing table I bought from Carolina Farmstead. I purchased it about a month ago and it is a centerpiece to my house. I am still trying to figure out what chairs to get but the table looks beautiful and I get so many compliments on it. A few highlights of my experience include: The service: Kelly was great at responding promptly with any questions I had about the table. I told her I wanted a table a bit darker than what I had seen in the pictures and she made it happen. I am quite a micro manager because I like things a certain way and the Carolina Farmstead team accommodated all my needs! The commitment: I was a bit nervous about buying a table that I hadn't seen exactly. With reclaimed wood you never know what you are going to get. I was a bit nervous about the color but Kelly mentioned to me that if I didn't like the color of the table I received, she would send me a new one free of charge. The table color came out perfect the first time but just knowing that if it didn't I could get a new one gave me a lot of comfort. The table itself: It is so strong and looks beautiful. It weighs a lot because the legs and top and thick and sturdy. I truly get so many compliments on it. I was looking at tables at west elm, crate and barrel, and other stores and they just didn't compare. The ones at the other stores were so flimsy and I felt would break so easily. They probably wouldn't but they just looked weak. Regardless, I (and all my visitors) love my table. The delivery: The table itself was made in a few weeks which was great. The deliver was delayed a few times because of snow and also their truck broke down once. But still it was only 1 week late. Overall: GREAT EXPERIENCE and I hoping to get them to make me something else for my house soon. read more

I ordered 9 tables from Carolina Farmstead for a community center. They were beautiful! Perfectly constructed and finished. I contacted them several weeks ago for a custom project and provided a drawing but no response after sending numerous emails and phone messages. I also saw a Yelp review Oct 2015 which is now gone, stating that they gave Carolina Farmstead 50% down for an item for purchase. They did not receive their item after several fail attempts to get any response from Carolina Farmstead. read more

Do not order from them!! They took my money for a deposit and then never delivered a product! They promised a table within 8 weeks and then would never agree to a meeting to pick out the wood. They promised me a refund and have not done so after two months. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and seeking legal counsel. read more

My wife and I wanted a table that could seat up to 12 on our patio but we quickly realized we were limited on size with the area we had. We wanted a unique table and we were frustrated with what the big retailers offered. So we started looking for a custom table in Virginia, then moved to an internet search in NC and found Carolina Farmstead. Natalie was so nice helping us plan the custom size table we needed. It took a little longer than expected due to them getting a lot of orders but that was good for them. Justin kept in communication and our table arrived the week before Thanksgiving and was at the center of our pre-Thanksgiving dinner outside with all our appetizers, oysters, clams and great conversation. We got the "Fancy Fixings" table and they put a double coat of marine varnish on it since it will be outside on a covered patio. The workmanship is tops, and it is solid! We have gotten so many compliments. It will be a great gathering place for many fun times. Thanks to Natalie, Justin and everyone at Carolina Farmstead, you build a great table! read more
