Therefore, it was no different when we went to look for a mattress. We decided we would go to several locations and check them out. However, we went to Mattress Land first and were met with excellent customer service and an exceptional deal that there was no reason to go anywhere else. We have never been to Mattress Land before and I am quite impressed with the store and employees Bret and Mickey. They have this new technology built into a mattress which you lie down on and then it asks you questions and helps you to select the best fit of mattress choice. In fact, customer service was on point. No hard sell or pushy treatment here. Bret and Mickey were able to give us such a sweet deal. We came to purchase my son a new mattress but ended up getting a mattress for my husband and I as well. We did have to wait for our California King to be ordered. Delivery and mattress pad (with Yelp Coupon) were free with our purchase. The delivery of both mattresses was about a week after purchase. The delivery guys called and let us know when they would be arriving. They were friendly, professional and informed. After having my mattress for almost a month I can say I am so glad we purchased a new mattress. I sure hope management sees this review and gives Bret and Mickey huge KUDOS. A) the adjustable bed frames can be found for HALF the price or less than they sell them for. Check Sam's Club for the exact same ones. B) If you can't pay cash or FOR SURE can't pay off the purchase within 3 months do not, I repeat DO NOT buy anything. The financing company will DOUBLE what you owe otherwise. This was never conveyed to us before we made our purchase. We are now forced to pay over $7k for a mattress and bed frame. SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. It's not a traditional financing option where you pay interest on your purchase - they immediately double what you owe if not payed off within 30 days. We are one payment after our 3 months and went from owing $3400 to $5700 (which is an early payment option for the $7k total we officially owe). I went to go pay off the remaining $1300 I thought was owed today and viola - this is the information I got. This is a completely unethical business practice. How could a person in good conscience not explain these details? How could a company saying they are "discount" retailers set people up to get robbed? If I could go back I would return everything and I wish I had never set foot into this store. This is a HUGE financial impact for anyone and I can't believe this is happening to us. They have some items in the small warehouse and then a catalog to look at the rest. The turnaround time is fairly quick, within a week or so to get your order. When it comes in, you come by the warehouse and load it up and take it home. The quality is pretty good and looks like it does , if not a little better, in person vs catalog. I'd say quality and style is mid range. Price is pretty decent. Tim is easy to work with and has made it a pleasant enough experience to continue shopping there, especially if you aren't the type to enjoy going to ten furniture stores to shop around. There is all sorts of furniture from living to outdoor. Updated as of June 2020: I thought I already posted this but I guess I forgot to finish. We have since got a couch and had ordered a guest bed. The couch is nice and Tim helped us design the pieces to fit our space. When they arrived less than two weeks after ordering, we got them home and found one sectional piece brackets not matching with the rest. We held on to the piece while Tim contacted the manufacturer. Another two weeks perhaps and the corrected piece arrived. Tim just let us keep the spare piece and we went and collected the last sectional piece, which had the correct bracket to match it with the other pieces. While we were picking up our couch piece l, we found a very reasonable and cute guest bed and nightstand. Put in an order to find out a week or two later that it still wasn't available, which happens sometimes because the business relies on manufacturer direct shipments and we were in the middle of the covid crisis. We waited a week or so more to see if it might become available. Unfortunately, there was no date as to when or if the manufacturer would have it available so we cancelled our order and requested a refund. Tim refunded us right away with no questions asked. We will continue to do as much business as we can with him and appreciate him always helping us out.
