These beds are a very high quality craftmanship and they are absolutely worth the wait and the money. A few things I would have considered and maybe done differently is deeper book cases on the barn door as I didn't think about where I would store bedding and pillows. I love the depth of the shaker bed, they are deeper than normal, I know it isn't the norm but it sure adds a lot of flexibility. I personally love the option of having deeper mattresses, I wish we would have done both of ours to fit 14". We did 1 mattress 12" and one 13" One thing to think about is having it deep enough so you can leave the bed made with sheets and a light blanket.

By their own admission they are over-capacity, so this will be a "whatever" to them, but they disappointed a kid and lost what could have been a lifelong customer. I absolutely loved the table, However, when it was delivered, there were several large scratches on the tabletop glass and one of the bar stools was broken. When I called in, they immediately said they would replace the items and I could use the table until my new one came in... so I was good. The reason for my 3 star review is because although the delivery drivers wore face masks, Hanks does not supply their delivery drivers with shoe covers, what difference is a face mask when you are tracking in animal waste, E. Coli and everything else we step on outside of our homes that can make us ill? So this was a BIG issue for me. The delivery guys were very nice and did a great job, but on both visits to my home they did not have shoe covers. This is 2020, there is Covid, amongst lots of other bacteria/viruses that is carried in on the soles of shoes... Google it, you will be disgusted to see what is being tracked inside!! I am 50 years old and have NEVER EVER worn shoes in my home. When you have "Fine Furnishings" behind your company name, you should also make it a standard to have impeccable customer service.

Every time I call, I'm told something different or that someone will "get back to me," but no one ever does. I spent good money on this purchase and expected at least basic customer service. It's been months of waiting with no resolution. At this point, I'd never recommend buying from this company unless you're okay being ignored once they have your payment.
