He invited us to lay on several mattresses to choose the one that we found most cool and comfortable to our needs. Waiting. Still. Long story short, the first order I put in came in right, but the order had been put in wrong. I can't make a queen fit a twin frame. Had to reorder. Today was the day I was supposed to receive my correct mattress after waiting a second week, and it's almost 4 pm with no call that my new mattress is ready for pickup. I have been sleeping on an air mattress now for way longer than anyone wants. I'm losing faith that I will be on a long awaited mattress tonight. read more

Lets see where to begin...went into the store to purchase a mattress and decided on the Tempur flex Supreme Hybrid at that time I was thinking this was the softest one offered but to my mistake it was not. After we received the bed and attempted to sleep on it, it was horrible! I understand there being a break in period but after research I found out that their is one softer being the elite. That was never mentioned at the store at the time of purchase. So after sleeping on a rock and half sleeping on the couch I went back into the store and asked to upgrade to the elite and change out the mattress. I was told by a man working there (I will give no names) that there was nothing I or he could do for 30 days. After leaving I researched again and found out that was a LIE! I then called the 1-800 number and was told yes you can change out the mattress at any time its just recommended that you sleep on the bed for 30 nights but not required. They had the district manager call as well as speaking to the manager of the Covington location and the gentleman that was there when I bought the mattress. I decided that I wanted to upgrade to the elite and of course it was no problem at that time after going through the headache to get it switched so I proceeded to give them my credit card over the phone to process the new mattress and get it ordered. THAT WAS A WEEK AGO!!! I was told someone would be contacting me by yesterday to set up the delivery when the mattress arrived in the warehouse. I waited deciding today to give the store a call and see what was going on. I found out that they DID NOT order my mattress after paying (AND WITHDRAWN FROM MY BANK ACCT) and everything so it could be no hiccups!!! Boy was I wrong so again today I was told that they ordered my mattress and it will be another 6 days before I will receive it. SAVE YOUR TIME AND A MAJOR HEADACHE!!! Not saying that Mattress Firm as a company is bad or all employees at the Covington Store is bad but after being lied to and waiting I am still sleeping on a rock (break in instructions still have not helped) after paying more for the upgrade a week ago and still no softer mattress for a week (after counting the days down until today when I thought or was told I would be getting delivery of the new one) PICK ANOTHER STORE TO BUY YOUR MATTRESS or hope you pick the correct one to begin with OR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! read more
