Hello, I'm the sick feeling you have when you realize you have been manipulated and have made a…read more$5500 mistake by trusting a Mathis representative. The facts: 2 weeks after purchasing on May 15, 3021 a long awaited new adjustable frame and mattress, I knew the mattress would have to be exchanged because it was too firm, and was led to believe it wouldn't be a problem, by the salesman. Here we go..."No, you must keep it for 30 days before a conversation can even happen." Mid-June--same salesman: "ok, no problem -I'll contact my boss and get the paperwork rolling." Today-mid July, we call, same salesman: We ask the status and he asks "what IS the status?", we remind him he was supposed to talk to his boss. "OH YES! I did and he says we can't replace them! I'll have to go up the chain, but someone might be on vacation right now, and uh.....". Meanwhile, THIS nurse who has worked 20 years in a large local hospital, with literally a crumbling spine, hasn't slept on her $5500 mattress for the 2 months it's been in her possession.
