This review is a bit overdue for I have purchased my mattress a year ago but I have been extremely satisfied with my purchase. Initially I got the Bamboo Dream Queen Mattress medium soft, tried it out for a week and I felt it was too soft for me . I gave Mattress 33 a call and I went with the medium firm which was just right for me , a la Goldilocks . The initial purchase was a bit different since they don't have a showroom at their location so I kind of just winged it when they asked what type of firmness I'd like . They did let me in the back of the warehouse and I got to feel a couple different types of mattress with my hands. They have many levels of firmness so I recommend you find what's right for you even after it has been delivered and you got to sleep on it for a bit . Although the product price was fair , I appreciate the service given from both mattress deliveries . They were very understanding when I requested my mattress to be firmer so they had a new mattress made for me while exchanging the one I originally bought . I hope this post helps someone with their decision to give this place a shot and get great sleep with their mattress . I hear they do showrooms fundraisers at schools so that'd be a great time to get a demo of all the beds . read more

They are still open during the pandemic. Safe and very clean showroom with gloved delivery. Great prices and service! read more

This review is way overdue. I purchased the Cal King Black Beauty mattress 2 years ago. It's the best mattress I've ever slept on. Great customer service and the delivery was excellent. I'm buying all my mattresses from these guys. read more

Came here a couple months ago in search of a new mattress. The location looks a bit sketchy from the outside and could be a bit hard to find. But definitely a hidden gem once discovered. We were greeted by Dean, the owner. The showroom was equipped with a huge selection of beds to roll around and test out. Dean was very informative and offered several customizable options to suit our needs. After careful consideration (and a lot of time spent bouncing from mattress to mattress), my husband and I finally made our selection and purchased a new king mattress. Now, several months later and we still absolutely love it! Our mattress does sit higher than we would like it, but that was our mistake. Something I personally didn't take into consideration when shopping. Mattress 33 offers phenomenal quality that wont break the bank. read more

Wonderful. We visited the showroom and Dean (the owner) was kind, helpful, and engaging. We all know the dread of purchasing a mattress based on the short time spent trying it out in a showroom, but Dean made us comfortable by explaining his guarantee and making it clear he ultimately wanted us to be happy with our purchase. We purchased two of the "Pure 12" in Twin XL and two corresponding adjustable bases. Delivery was within a couple of days, and the delivery guys were great. They set up everything- which was so helpful because it was our first time using adjustable bases. The first night, the mattresses felt a little too firm, so we contacted Dean & he immediately switched them out for a slightly less firm version of the same mattress, which turned out to be perfect. We especially appreciated the idea that because they make the mattresses themselves, the firmness is customizable, and we didn't have to start from scratch with an entirely different mattress. We've had our new mattresses for about a month now and finally look forward to getting into bed again. One last thing- the value is amazing. When a local business provides an equal (or better) product than the national brands for a much better price, I consider the decision to purchase from them a no-brainer. We love our new adjustable bed and wholeheartedly recommend this business. read more

My fiance and I recently purchased The Bamboo Dream. Like most couples, we prefer different mattress firmnesses. I like to sleep on a wooden plank and she likes to sleep on clouds. Mattress 33 was great with educating us on what to look for and how it would impact our sleep. The Bamboo Dream was our happy medium and we both feel like we have never had a better night's sleep in years. Mattress 33 was a great find and we are extremely happy with our purchase. We would like to thank Dean and his team. Thanks for the great customer service, hospitality and education! If you are looking for a #mattress, call Mattress 33 and ask for Dean. You'll be in great hands! Here is the link to the one we bought: https://shopmattress33.com/products/the-bamboo-dream?variant=31047878443098 read more

I went to a fundraiser At Pasadena High School. Everyone there was very nice and friendly. The only issue I had was setting up the delivery. It was the 4th of July week and my birthday is within that timeframe. Someone was supposed to call within a few days and they never did. I had to track someone down which wasn't easy. I left a couple of messages on the number on the receipt. I then left messages through social media. It took a few days but someone finally did return my call. The delivery guys were very professional and nice. No trash or mess was left behind. read more

My mother in law wanted a firm bed, so the owner Dean said he would make one for me with the foam inserts. It was a awesome price and he also included the delivery. Once we received the bed, she slept it on for a couple of days and said it was too soft. I was dreading to call Dean back and asked how much it would be to get a new one build without the foam. He said no worries, we will pick that one up and get you a new one, no charge!! I was like what? As promise he delivered the new bed and my mother in law is happy. But to get to back Mattress 33 their customer service and customer satisfaction is like no other. We will definitely be coming back to get our Cal-King next year, i highly recommend this place. FYI, getting to this place seems a bit sketchy as you have to drive down a long ally way and its almost all the way in the back. But I rest assure its safe and you will not regret the buying bed from here. I also learn that you save the most by buying direct instead of though a middle man (Sears/Ortho/Macy's) read more

I purchased a mattress from dean few months ago but didn't have an opportunity to use it until this week. First off, these guys are manufacturers. When you go there it's an actual factory, not a warehouse; there are people in the building in back stuffing mattresses. They make you your mattress if you don't want what's there and you're willing to pay an extremely modest mark up. Dean made me a mattress with the specifications I asked for then I came back 3-4 weeks later (I live out of state) so that I could do a fitting with my new mattress. It was perfect for me so changed nothing but had the option of adding more firmness or softness. So they're not really a retailer. One look at the showroom and factory you realize you're not in a department store. As such, they sell mattresses they produce to retailers (I know because my mattresses was included in an out of state shipment and Dean's local retail account /purchaser actually delivered it to me. Dean's $1k king mattresses are the exact same mattresses that his retailers routine sell fir $4-5k. This place is amazing read more

I purchased a full size mattress from Mattress 33 for my daughter for an amazing price. The mattress is extremely comfortable and is of excellent quality. The fact that I could purchase this straight from the factory and pay a wholesale price, and not the inflated prices you pay for retail, was very welcome to the pocket book. My next mattress is going to be for my husband and I, and I guarantee it will be from this company. You can't beat high quality for such a low price. It is said, you pay for what you get, but definitely not in this case! So happy to have found this place!!!! I highly recommend it :) read more

My experience at Mattress 33 has been awesome! They delivered and installed an adjustable bed in my house, upstairs around tight corners. They didn't bump or scratch anything, and I'm so happy with the product! Got such a great deal too. Definitely worth it! read more

I can't believe I found this place. I went in and expected maybe some floor samples or so. However I was shocked to find out they had a whole floor show room It is definitely a hidden gem. I will definitely recommend to others. I am so glad I found this. I have to admit the location seems a bit hidden but you will be glad once your there and able to test out all the mattresses. There is something for everyone. I'm glad that I waited because I was so close to going to sit n sleep. That would have been a big mistake considering the prices here. Thanks again dean. I was shopping around for mattresses and was unsure as to what I wanted. I just knew I wanted a king. I started my weekend shopping at different places. I decided to drop into Mattress 33 as it was near by and had great reviews. Once I entered, I was greeted and shown to their show room with numerous beds to sample. The owner himself reassured me that he would be able to custom the bed to my comfort, and he did just that. The mattress I chose to purchase is called a western however it wasn't firm enough for me. I asked them to make it slightly firmer and the bed is so comfortable! I would definitely recommend this place to others! FYI, they have great prices! & my sister and brother have also purchased from this place after me! Thanks for providing me with a mattress that fits my needs. read more

Heard about Mattress 33 from my sister. The owner Dean took us around the showroom explaining the features of each mattress. You can see how each is built using all high end materials and built right at their factory. The comparison of price from other mattress stores are on each mattress so you know how much you are saving. After picking the mattress we wanted we were able to custom it for our needs. It was delivered a week later. We could tell the difference in quality after one night of sleeping on the new mattress. And as it states we saved 67% off from other mattress store for a better mattress! I drove from Orange County and it was so worth the drive. I highly recommend coming here before you go anywhere else for a new mattress! Thank you Dean for the best night of sleep I have had in a while! read more

I've had a Tempur-Pedic for years, still with some life in it but when my best friend told me about Dean and his place, I just had to go! What an amazing experience! Dean educated me on how and why his mattresses are manufactured-starting from the and all the way up. From the most inexpensive mattress all the way up to the high end Black beauty. I ended up with the Bamboo Dream and am incredibly happy with it. Dean is THE nicest guy and truly stands behind his mattresses. Give him a try; you won't regret it! Patty D. read more

We purchased our mattress at a high school as a fundraiser. We were very excited that the proceeds went for a good cause. I am so glad I found this company. Initially I had a few disappointment because the location was a warehouse and I kept asking when they would have the showroom up and running as I didn't want to buy a mattress without trying it. Long story short they ended up having a fundraiser in a high school where they set up temporary showroom in the gym so I went and tried the beds. I picked a mattress and custom with a cool top. Delivery was just as promised. After trying for a few nights I realized it was firmer than I anticipated and I told myself to give it a month. A month passed and still it was too firm. I felt really bad but I texted Dean and he put in an order for an exchange for the same bed but slightly softer. He doesn't give you a hard time with exchange like other online mattress companies. I have to say I love love love my mattress and one of my relative that is quite picky with mattresses used it yesterday and said she couldn't believe how comfortable it was. I have chronic back pain and I feel that it provided the support that I need. I love to support local business and I really like the fact that they do fundraisers for local high school. Price is way cheaper because they sell their own bed and can customize to your liking. Dean really give great customer service. I highly recommend Mattress 33! read more

Service was great! I ordered a mattress and they delivered it, but once I got it, realized it was too tall for my daughters bunk bed. The delivery person took it back, and then they delivered another one that was the right height 2 days later. Definitely would recommend Mattress33.
