We have since found a new dentist, and found that if we had gone through the plan that Powers place had, it would have worsened things and been far more expensive for very little to show for it. Absolutely disgusted by the service the past few times I went. Lady at the desk was incredibly rude and nosey, and repeatedly made my spouse feel self conscious over the situation and the fact that we did not financially have the ability to get the priciest options. Very poor quality of care. Went to a new dentist recently, and most of the things we had been told in the past from Powers was wrong, and things that SHOULD of been addressed (that we were told were "no big deal" ended up needing adressing) Never again.

There is a nice waiting area and this year they have upgraded to digital x-rays and you can even watch TV while your teeth get worked on. She said I was reading a couple 4s and had to get a gingivitis treatment...$600 OUT OF POCKET!!!! Absolutely not. I requested just a regular cleaning because I have some Tartar buildup I want rid of but they refused because I wouldn't do the gingivitis cleaning! They also said I have no cavities..Hygienist and lady at the billing desk were very rude, only good part of the experience was the girl who did my scans, she was very nice. Other than that, terrible experience. Won't be using Aspen again. This is the second time they've done this to me.

I was phobic when it came to sitting in a dentist's chair When I moved to Cincinnati five years ago and HAD to see a dentist (I think I lost a crown) I was referred to Dr Jackson. THIS IS HOW GREAT HE IS: I go in for a cleaning (pretty much) every six months and I don't dread it. In fact I look forward to it because it makes my mouth feel so good. Dr Jackson is amazing. The unique thing about Dr. Jackson's office is that they use acupressure instead of Novocaine. Oh, you can have the drug if you want it, but I felt NO PAIN with the acupressure, AND I can eat and drink immediately after any procedure requiring it. I never leave my dentist's office with a spongy cheek, drooling, etc. I LOVE THIS DENTIST'S OFFICE! As for Dr. Jackson himself, he's very nice, but I don't see much of him. The other folks there are so capable, that I can't just say I love the dentist--I love the whole staff. They do good stuff.
