I was warmly greeted by the 2 ladies at the front desk. They have the front area nicely decorated for summer. When I see happy decor it always puts a smile on my face. The waiting room was very nice also. I had a very short wait until I was called back for the preliminary stuff. The nurse, whose name I forgot, was amazing. We had a good conversation and shared a few laughs. This also helped keep me calm before the dreaded exam. Next I was called to De. Pascioni's office. She was so warm and cheerful. She took her time and explained different things with me and wrote info down for me. The exam was so quick and thorough that I didn't even feel like anything took place. Everyone acted as though we had been friends for year, with a professional side of course. If I could give them a 10 I would.

She's smart, kind, patient, great listener, compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, respectful, gentle, empathetic, honest, sweet...I can go on and on! She is really (sincerely) interested in your/my health concerns, feelings/emotions, and wants to truly know how you feel. Dr. Harris-Proctor does not rush the appointment. She takes her time to discuss matters with you. It seems that she does not want her patients to leave her office confused or with unanswered questions. I love her!!!! I wasn't excited about coming to the dr (but, again who is?!). I've been needing to find new doctors and found Dr. Harris-Proctor online during an internet search. I thought about the qualities that I need and want in a dr and she matched them all! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Harris-Proctor and her nurse (Nurse Dianne)!! They are fabulous! Quick review of the office (building, parking, reception area, exam rooms, reception desk, and corridors): it's clean, smells fresh, and very comfortable. Tons of parking. Staff are friendly and kind. The ultrasound nurse (Amy) was/is so sweet and gentle (as much as she can be). I wanted to give 4.5 but I don't know how. Why?? Well, there is a bit of a waiting time and that is because of the time they take to care for each patient. So, please don't be in a rush. Bring a book or be the first patient.

The drinking spout--the exact point where water exits before entering a person's mouth--is visibly cracked and surrounded by what appears to be mold, grime, and rust buildup. In a healthcare setting, especially one serving pregnant patients, this is a serious sanitation issue. This is not just a cosmetic problem; it directly impacts the safety of the drinking water being provided. Even if building maintenance is handled by a third party, this reflects poorly on the environment patients are being asked to trust. This fixture should be immediately taken out of service and replaced or professionally sanitized. This level of neglect is unacceptable in any medical facility.

My worst experience was when I went to an ultrasound where I was told I would need to have a full bladder. I sat there for 2 HOURS, and I was so uncomfortable. When they finally took me back, they told me I could go to the bathroom. However I have had a pretty decent quality of care here except when I came in for endometriosis and pelvic pain concerns and they referred me to a GI doctor. I already know that I have GI issues and that it was not the issue I was dealing with. I wish more women's care providers would take these types of concerns seriously, but this office is sadly no different. My annuals all seem to go pretty smoothly once I am seen, but there is no reason I should wait 2 hours for a 15 minute appointment.

Now, I was nine months pregnant and on my due date I had an appointment with him. His nurse dismissed my concerns and gave me a piece of paper to "count the baby kicks" and also said "it's just because the baby is so big and there's not much room in there". May 12 I was exactly 9 months pregnant, my son moved that morning and by 2 o'clock that afternoon at the check up there was no fetal heartbeat, my son was now dead. He yelled at me that I should have let them know if anything wasn't right. I did tell him, I told his nurse too and they blew me off. I had to deliver naturally a dead child at nine months pregnant. It destroyed my marriage, it destroyed me as a person and my life. I now know the reason he offered free OB/GYN services if I were to become pregnant again was because he didn't want me to sue him. If I had known that was an option, I would have. I was young in my 20's, the grief was too deep and still is. The trauma affects me every day as I try to keep the PTSD in check. I hope he does see this message and how his inaction destroyed what life I would have had with my son. If anyone wants great wholistic care, do not ever go there to that facility. Protect yourself, your family and your baby. Mine is in a grave.

I was advised to go to emergency room if I experienced heavy bleeding and to call their office to cancel if I passed on my own. I received a phone call requesting to post pone my follow up ultrasound to allow more time. I contacted the office to let them know that I received their message but no longer needed the ultrasound as I did experience the miscarriage and currently passed everything therefore needed to just cancel. I was informed that I was not scheduled for an ultrasound and would only be for a follow up and advised to keep appointment. I come to my follow up appointment and was brought back into the ultrasound room. I told the tech that I had called prior to my appointment and informed them that I passed the pregnancy and did not need an ultrasound and the front desk informed me I was not scheduled for an ultrasound so was confused and that I was still currently bleeding. She apologized that she was not aware and that she would get me a pad to lay on. I replied that I did not need the ultrasound and was given a response that the doctor is going to need it. After already expressing to the front desk on my previous phone call and telling the tech twice that I did not need the ultrasound since I passed everything the last thing I wanted to do was argue with the tech, especially when emotionally trying to process my miscarriage therefore I had the ultrasound. Dr. Grey than spent approximately less than 2 minutes with us confirming that the pregnancy did indeed pass but good news was that it passed on its own and we did not need to discuss options if it didn't and to wait another month and try again & recommended I return for a pap smear appointment. That follow up appointment I was than billed $660. When I called the billing dept to inquire why I was billed $660 on a procedure I expressed to two different team members I did not need and told I was not scheduled for ultrasound never mind the large charge for the two minute follow up exam with doctor. I was told they would relay my concerns to the office manager and I would get a call back since the office manager was gone for the day already (12 pm on a Monday). I expressed wanting to cancel all my future appointments and I would pay my balance when the office manager called me. That was two weeks ago and I have not yet received a call back but certainly have received multiple e-mail reminders about the balance and statement in mail. So in total for my two appointments with their office, I was billed a total of almost $1,400 for two ultrasounds, maybe 5 minutes of the doctors time at first visit, about two minutes the second and a pregnancy test. The lack of empathy and communication in that practice is reason enough to avoid.

So I had an induction 5/8/25 and the staff was amazing on the 3rd floor. Nurses Sydney Overton and Taylor Abrams were my nurses and they made sure all of my needs and questions were catered to - that being my first induction out of my three kids. They called my doctor when I had questions or needed permission to start epi or pitocin. The anesthesiologist came to my room for my epi promptly, another came back to increase my dose when active labor started and it got intolerable. They reminded my husband post birth to visit the cafeteria for food before it closed at 3 am (I gave birth @0121). The upstairs, 4th floor wasn't as good of an experience with the nurses - it seems like that's where they put the underdogs bc they seemed not to be able to handle as much pressure or needs of a laboring woman just from my experience with them. Some were too timid and hovered, some were too direct when their opinion wasn't asked for, but I had great experience with the housekeeping and chefs who made sure I ordered food and got my food timely and made sure my room was cleaned. The coffee was actually great from the floor and drinks and snacks were stocked. The food from the cafeteria was great! I had oatmeal, chicken parm, broccoli, Mac n cheese, chicken tenders, fried fish, curly fries at different times. Overall, I had a great experience for the first time out of my 3 kids (I gave birth at NMCP with the first two so my standards are probably very low) and I'm grateful. I've seen horrific reviews too and I am sorry to those women. To anyone who may be seeking to deliver here, I hope you are treated as well as I was. They cannot keep staff and are so beyond short staffed it results in patients being completely neglected by never receiving return phone calls, medicine refills taking over a month to get and now after I've left them for another office, I can't get them to forward my records. They were sent the form 3 weeks ago. I checked laws and saw they have 30 days to comply or I can file a legal complaint. I contacted the office and told them I do plan on filing a complaint cause I need treatment elsewhere. Sadly it took me telling them about the complaint and I get a phone call back. Go figure, the records girl decided to quit and she had only been there since Feb. They claim they don't have a form from this office. Yet knowing their history and the other office had been great with follow up, you can only know Castro's office has lost the form. I do want to add that Castro will say she will do something and she never does as well. No follow up and no follow through. She will tell you one thing and do another. I've also had the office nurse manger, I believe that's what she was, not follow through on getting me results to a test. Took 2 months and they refused to send me anything physical saying my pap was negative. I had to call just to get told what it was and that was 6 weeks after the procedure. Told me I could pay to get it out of my record. So needless to say, stay away from this provider. Maybe once they can get their office in order they will be better. But I do not trust them with my health due to their negligence towards their patients.
