The person running the museum has some personal insight into the collection of memorabilia and it is pretty interesting. They also have some very interesting maps, newspaper articles and letters, etc. that have been collected and are displayed down the hallway. The maps particularly provide some insight. The owner is friendly and helpful and the variety and condition of the records is outstanding. I found one of my favorite albums of all time (Music From Big Pink by The Band, original issue) for what I call The Nice Price. I also purchased albums by Lenny Cohen, the Scorpions, Sinatra, and a rarely seen disc by Alexander O'Neal (!). I will note, I saw Joy Division, Accept, Coltrane, Woody Guthrie, and much, much more. It's the perfect distance from Lake City (10 min drive?) and Redwing so if you're staying in either, then you're able to take a short little road trip. I think one of the things I really love about this place is how their antiques are in such good condition. A lot of times, when I go to antique stores there's always a stain or something on the clothes but I've never found anything like that at the store, which I really applaud them for. It shows how selective and intentional they are with the pieces that they keep in their store. It's not super easy to find a three-piece suits or two piece sets from 50 or 60 years ago. Especially in the condition they're in here (see: red 3 piece set) It's really well organized which I can't say that for all antique stores. And if you're into crystals, cacti or air plants, they also have those in store too. They got plenty of artsy books. And I believe they do have fitting rooms so I've personally never use them. They do have Apple Pay, which is really nice for me who always forgets to bring her card places. And if nothing else, you'll probably get a good photo for your VSCO, when stopping by.

Once you get to the farm you're greeted right away, handed a sieve and a box and sent out into the fields, which are full of enormous dusky blue blueberries. If you've never picked blueberries before you should know that they're maybe the easiest berry to pick: just grab a bunch in your hand and gently roll. The ripe berries will fall down into the sieve and the not-quite-ripe berries stay on the bush. When you break your zen and pop your head out of and above the blueberry bushes you'll see out into the bluffs for miles. It's dreamy! Most importantly these berries are INCREDIBLE, sweet and just tart enough. They'll ruin you for overpriced, plastic-cartoned grocery store blueberries maybe forever, so be prepared for that. I think they grow lots of varieties but I never bother to learn which is which because I'm usually more concerned with beating my personal eating record out in the field (which the super friendly owners encourage).
