In a span of a week, without us changing anything, they were cancelling and rebooking our appt for the same date/time. They were a nonshow to our scheduled appoinment TWICE. We went with another firm.

Figured it would help streamline things since they handled everything we were going to have to deal with. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Marty was sorely lacking in communication and follow through. It took a couple of months just to email us a statement of our account to see if there was a balance due or a refund so we could settle up since we had already hired another lawyer. He did end up apologizing and taking responsibility for the poor communication in the email in which he sent the final statement. So I guess that's better than not recognizing it at all. He completed just the initial steps of everything that he agreed to complete from our initial meeting with him and our new lawyer has completed pretty much everything in half the time for a fraction of the price.

After the initial consult we realized our old documents were completely inadequate, and decided to revoke the old trust and have Margaret develop a new suite of documents to replace them (new living trust, power of attorney, will, etc). She walked through each document in detail so we fully understood what was contained in them. It was absolutely worth the time and effort, and we are now very satisfied and much more confident in the new legal documents. We also know we can rely on Margaret for future guidance. Note that she is not the cheapest lawyer out there, but keep in mind the old axiom "you get what you pay for".

Our 15 year old knew to stay away almost from the very start and asked why if I get multiple opinions with doctors why did I not do this with a lawyer. Money was Mike's main concern ie making it for himself. If he doesn't even give professional courtesy and consideration for a member of the bar and takes advantage of their emotional state in terms of a guardianship, I can just imagine what he's like to other clients. Kept repeating "we are all lawyers" and how everyone wasn't a "flamethrower" while laughing his way to the bank. The bill went up in one week @$7,000 ie $1,000 a day and nothing that was done was in the "best interests" of the "alleged disabled". What nerve! All I can say is karma is b-tch Mike! Should have never been advised to file especially in "Crook County". This was my second mistake. First was calling Mike!!! Stay away!!! "All the best" to you and your's Mike....

My Mother wanted to adjust her trust and we worked closely with Patrick. The cost was approximately $4,000 which we thought reasonable. Payment plans are also offered, which is a terrific alternative if needed. We began the process just after the Covid pandemic. Patrick worked with Mom virtually. She preferred her documents be rushed and paid an additional fee. We met with the firm in the parking lot to sign the proper documents safely (masks, social distancing) and the complete packet was mailed overnight. The experience was thorough and positive. I will use this family owned law firm in the future.
