Camp Integem - Fremont - Students learn about Robotics with teacher's help at Integem

My daughter and her friends had a really good time at the Intro to AR Coding and Space Exploration…read morecamp last summer (the one for ages 5-8 at camp.integem.com). It was her first go at anything coding-related, and I was honestly impressed with how much she enjoyed it. They got to mess around with computer and build little AR space adventures--like coding spaceships and exploring planets--which kept her hooked. The instructors were patient, and it felt like the kids were actually learning something useful while having fun. She's pretty happy about it and keeps saying she wants to do more. So, we're planning to sign her up with her friends again this year for the Advanced AI+AR Game Design with Coding for Junior. Seems like a cool step up, and she's excited to try out the AI stuff. Can't ask for much more than that--happy kid, happy mom!

My 9-year-old daughter has attended Camp Integem for two years now, spending five weeks there last…read moresummer--two weeks in the 3D AR Coding and Game Design program and three weeks in the AI Robotics camp. It's been an amazing experience that stands out from other camps. This isn't about outdated paper crafts or simple projects; it's hands-on, future-focused technology that prepares kids for what's ahead. When my daughter first joined the camp two years ago, it was a completely new experience for her, as she had no prior background with computers or this style of learning. The concepts introduced were technically advanced and required her to think in new ways. Thanks to the teachers' support and guidance, she quickly adapted and felt comfortable. By the third day, she fully embraced the hands-on approach and became excited about the creative projects she was building, discovering a genuine love for the learning process. Camp Integem delivers a unique experience that goes beyond traditional learning. Here's what makes it special: 1) Hands-on Learning: Kids work on coding, AI, robotics, and AR design with hands on projects, not by reciting theories. 2) Creativity and Ownership: By the end of the program, kids develop their own ideas and create their projects based on their ideas. 3) Problem-Solving Skills: They prototype, test, and learn from what doesn't work, which helps them think critically. 4) Refinement: Kids refine their designs based on what they've learned, understanding that iteration is key to improvement. 5) Showcasing Their Work: At the end, they get to present their projects, building confidence and pride. And it is a fun learning process. My daughter enjoyed it very much. As parents, we know how critical these early years are for developing young minds. Traditional methods that worked 50 years ago don't prepare kids for the future. The thinking process behind AI, robotics, 3D, and coding is very different from what you can achieve with cardboard models or slideshows. Starting now gives kids the confidence to embrace technology and innovation, rather than fear it. Camp Integem has been a game-changer for our daughter. It's helped her grow in confidence, creativity, and resilience. She's already signed up for their AI Space Drone program, and we can't wait to see what she creates next! If you're looking for a camp that teaches kids to think, create, and problem-solve with cutting-edge technology, we highly recommend Camp Integem. It's an amazing experience that sets kids up for the future!

Not only do they provide great academic experience, but a great balance of extracurricular activities. My daughter was very shy when it came to public speaking and participation, and within the month she is confident enough to participate in the public speaking classes. They also have Yoga and dance classes, which I am a big fan of, as I don't have to go outside looking for these for my kid. On top of all these classes, they also offer STEM class, which keeps the young minds engaged. Well maintained and they are on top of things when needed. would definitely recommend this facility for your kids. when I was looking for aftercare for my kid, I was so frustrated as I could not find anything that I liked, and I could not have been happier with what I found.

I can only say, that this is one of few daycares program, they really get it. You can bring any of your problems to them, and they will accommodate. Not to mention they focus on academics, as well as outdoor combo. My kid wasn't ready to go out to movie theatre, and she made good headwinds by getting socially very active involved with kids at this site, and went to her first outdoor trip to minion movie. Not to mention they take kids too planetariums, museums, farm trips. Rock On Tulip team.

I am not satisfied with the service and decided to withdraw my kid…read more I really pissed off with your chaos management. I applied the Stevenson center and they contacted me for an evaluation. We drove to Stevenson location and it was closed. I called the center and i was told the session was held in beacon ave. There are actually two locations, Stevenson and Beacon Ave. I thought they are independent. But they actually share same systems. Lower graders will be moved to Beacon location. I was contacted with multiple employees from these two locations and their information isn't fully synced. In order to transfer to weekend class, we were required to take 3-4 tutor sessions, which cost us $90/hour. I clearly mentioned my kid didn't need many tutor sessions since she has been doing Singapore math and beast academy. So in the first session, I want check the materials and have her start where she left behind. The tutor actually start from lesson 1. For the price of $90, my kid learned 3+3,3-3,4+3,4-3,5+3,5-3,7+3,7-3. Why should I pay $90 for the knowledge my daughter already learned 4 years back. The tutor can start from lesson 8 or later. My daughter reviewed the knowledge she learned 4 years back. Even worse, I spent $90 but didn't get teaching materials and take home assignments. I checked online and there wasn't any homework uploaded. We didn't receive paper homework either. In the evaluation session, I was told I can talk to the office to pick up the missing materials. I requested in the email. The school requested me to pay the full tuition for the missing classes in order to get the teaching materials and missing homework. The tutor I talked to on 12/4 in the office explained I wouldn't get teaching materials or homework unless I paid full tuition for the missing class. I questioned why I didn't receive anything for the the value I paid $90/hour for the tutor session compared to regular class $57/1.5 hour. She told me you still saved the money for $90 for three lessons compare to the price 57*3. She also addressed I need to pay for the tutor session on 12/4 even my kid didn't join the session. This isn't right way how you should treat your customers. The reason I chose Russian math is I reviewed the materials in Cupertino Russian math center. I like the concepts and the thick book. But the first tutor session, we have completed 3 lessons and we didn't see the text book . What we received is a few pages print out she completed in class. This is total a waste of money. Russian Math, this isn't the right way to do business. There is Singapore math, Think Academy and Khan Academy. After school is super competitive in bay area. The attitude you treat kids and parents wouldn't help your business survive in bay area.

But in the end, he truly deserves to be more well-known than the franchise tutor mills. Our two sons have been in Mr. Simon's classes for the last two years, and we just enrolled them for another year. We can see their improvement in fictional writing style and persuasive organization. Their school teachers have also commented on how articulate they have become. With input from our kids, our thoughts on why his classes are so effective: * Mr. Simon's expectations of disciplined work, enforced with a sense of humor, motivates his students. Oftentimes my kids would tell us the jokes Mr. Simon told them. * Mr. Simon provides personalized feedback for each student, but done in the class such that all can benefit from his teachings. * Mr. Simon also advises the parents not to intervene with students' work. Initially it was hard on our helicopter parenting style, but soon I found that without our meddling, our kids became quite proactive in doing their assignment. Mr. Simon provides for both in-person and live online during class hours, but I'd recommend students attend in-person whenever possible.
