The nice lot rent compared to others without the amenities. Quiet, green grass as far as the eye can see, beautiful trees and a dog park. The Host Scott will go out his way to assist you with whatever. Cons What RV park doesn't come with its ups and downs. Electricity, but it's your choice to use it. Of course who doesn't like dirt roads. So you wash your car once a week. It's called exercise. Some people don't get the concept of a speed limit. Normal maintenance that has to be done to the park to keep it up to code so the clients are dispirited. With all the open space you do get to live stock Cows, which comes with the smell of defecation. With my closing been going on 5 months and so far we haven't thought about moving as of yet. Our arrival and site assignment simple. We backed into our bay view space and set up for our week stay. First the park is perfect a outstanding view of the inland waterway into Corpus Christy harbors and Bay. My sister lives close by and came to breakfast several times during our stay and joined us for the typical tourist attractions of the area. The pro and cons of our stay. PRO'S there's a small local dive bar one block from the front gate. There's a food truck outside to die for. Top the with live music and our stay was truly a good time. Cons We can't stop this time but will when we will again soon. The new owners and management people are very nice and the dive bar and food truck are a huge draw.

The pull throughs are narrow but the driveway is wide so getting in was not a problem. Nice grocery store within walking distance.

Lots of seasonal people from up north in the winter and retirees. Also some long term construction workers. Rent is fair, around $300.00 a month plus electricity. I think their day rates for weekends and short stays are $35.00 a night. Waterfront views are great. There is a boat launch and pier.

Ok, wasn't expecting much but upon the pull up the man of the house pulled around in his pick up…read moretruck to meet us at late check in! We called earlier, the lady of the house was very nice! We let them know we wanted to use the pool they advised us that the pool closed early but assured us that since we were both adults that we can stay as long as we like inside of the pool. They even adjusted our spot to help us closer to the pool. The restrooms and shower were super clean! Great people we met gave us the go to's when we left east from New Zealand! Thats how we found ourselves at Cajun Palms resort in Lafayette, LA. Definitely the best pull through service we've gotten on our journey RV'n!

Port A RV Resort has been, and still is an attractive and well kept resort. That being said, this…read moresummer has not been very enjoyable. With the advent of Bluetooth speakers, the pools are no longer relaxing. In regards to the pools, I've also noticed large groups forcing other guests out, by way of loud music, and actually encroaching on their personal space. Excessive noise after quiet hour was also an issue. The park staff has had to deal with disrespectful and aggressive guests while trying to do their jobs with no repercussions. It was the Wild Wild West
