This KOA RV park is approximately 18 months old and is immaculate! The staff is super friendly, informative and helpful! Plus, they maintain each site so well. We got to see them clean the site next to us and wow they did such a thorough job! They pulled weeds (hence why the grass is amazing and free of stickers, which my dogs greatly appreciated because it's hard to find a sticker free location in the corpus area), thoroughly cleaned/scrubbed the grill, disinfected picnic tables and chairs and watered the grass. It's just absolutely fantastic how well they maintain their RV sites and really go above and beyond for their guests. Not only was I greeted with a smile upon checkin but we were also guided to our spot and even assisted with backing in the RV. Plus, we got to enjoy a live band and beach party on Saturday with half priced wine margaritas. Fun in the sun! Lastly the 3 bathroom and shower combo rooms (located by the front office) were spotlessly clean, the reception is stocked like a convenience store with all the things you may need and there are two dog parks available for the pups. I cannot recommend this place enough. Hands down the best KOA I've ever stayed at. And have you seen the view? Water all around. A+++

This Koa site is one of the most beautiful little getaways on the Laguna Madre, much less on the island although not directly on it. It is the only private, water-view location I know of on north padre and in the bluff that is meticulously maintained and you're legitimately backed up to water. It's a new "boutique" vibe with each one promising the best sunrises over the Laguna and intracoastal. Really nice front office who have rearranged our reservations more than once with sweet southern coastal hospitality. We've stayed twice and plan on making it a "go-to" for long weekend getaways. Grounds are kept so clean that you'd have to hunt for a bug. Check out 2 different morning sunrises taken directly from our spot sitting next to our personal fire pit and outdoor eating/ cooking area.

Beautiful place to stay ! Cleanest showers and bathrooms I've ever seen . Amazing views and super helpful and friendly staff . We can't wait to back !

Arrival, backed up to a channel great For fishing.

This place is a must stay! Everyone is super nice, welcoming and ready to do what they can to make your stay a fantastic one. The road getting to the park is horrible with pot holes but keep your cool and keep going. When you pull in you stop and check in and they guide you to your spot and help you get into your spot. They office/ store has almost everything you will need a little higher price than store but if you're in a pinch it's there. They have laundry facilities- just bring your own detergent, a play ground, boat Launch, and you can fish right from your spot. The bathrooms (3) located Near the office have a sink, shower, toilet and bench in each. There is also a small game room. I would recommend bringing bug spray the mosquitos are quite vicious at night. They are planning on adding a pool and pier soon but even now it is a great place. My kids and husband had a great time fishing and we ate dinner and breakfast each meal on the patio. Most spots have a fire pit perfect for s'mores, and plenty of chairs and a table.

Absolutely wonderful! The park is beautiful, the restrooms and showers are some of the nicest I've seen and the staff are AMAZING! We will definitely be back!

Seaweed smell ruined trip. The park is amazing, clean, well maintained, gorgeous view of sunrise and moon over water! But depending on the wind, it smelled like rotten eggs. It even woke me up one night! Local residents told me this area is known for the smell. Lots near office smell worse than at the opposite end. Or try near canal instead of ocean front.

    Beach and pool area.

Corpus Christi KOA has some great, spacious sites. We chose a patio site on the channel and loved it. The office had a lovely little store to find most of the items you may need in a pinch, and the employees were friendly and helpful. The downside, the beach, which was not a useful swim beach due to the grasses that continue to wash ashore (and dead fish). The sand on the beach had too much glass to have kids play in the sand, or to even walk barefoot. The pool looked clean, however, there are only four chairs, which most were taken when I wanted to go, so we never used the pool. The stench from the dead grass wasn't that great either. Even with all of that, this is a great place to stay. We rented kayaks to take around the channels, and the location is close enough to the beaches, great restaurants, etc. I give it four grackles.

Camping isn't free to my knowledge, but day use fees are not applied in most stretches of the island. I'll never forget our last summer (June 2025) vacation day when I reminded my girls to try to remain calm and not thrash around if they see a shark. They boogie boarded and swam for a couple of hours. Then about 150 yards away, the fishermen reeled in a couple of juvenile sharks. They took pictures then released them properly back into the ocean. My family acted as though sharks were a new phenomenon. A star knocked off because I was just taken aback by how trashy Texans and tourists have gotten. It didn't seem this bad when I was much younger. I picked up a full trash bag's worth walking up and down our area alone. Let's do better... tell your group to pick up too. Wildlife deserves to search for food and shelter garbage free.

Ya'll thought of everything anyone could possibly want and gave attention to every detail. The pier is beautiful and just draws your eye out to the bay and the gorgeous sunsets. Wherever you choose to sit on the site, you can't miss the amazing and beautiful sunsets-easily the highlight of each day! The lush landscaping and beautiful palms make it a true tropical oasis. The site feels so private and is so quite, peaceful and restful. We also enjoyed walking the Rockport Beach and the Tule hike and bike trail, and were amazed at the herons and egrets roosting in the trees off Fulton Road! Thank you for all the info about those areas! How lucky we were to get to meet you and share this amazing place with you for a few days! Thank you for being so warm and welcoming and kind! The wonderful boat trip through the Rockport canals was an unexpected bonus and highlight to our stay. There are some beautiful areas in Rockport, but I think the canals are a hidden gem! We loved and enjoyed our little vacation and definitely plan to book some future stays. I know they have recently been bought out. A few changes, no longer garage pickup or clean towels. That's not such a big deal but no coffee maker in the cabin and in all the years in the past: the security-cleaning deposit was given back into your account. Was informed today( after I had to call) that that was now included in your stay. That should have been made clear up front upon booking. We make it a diligent habit of thoroughly cleaning our cabin before we leave. Between no coffee maker and the other little perks, we were short changed in our stay this year.
