My barber who I had an appointment with didn't seem to be expecting me nor care. He asked if he could eat his lunch first, I agreed to wait but thought out the process he appeared to be taking his time to eat with little to no urgency or respect that I was waiting. Looked like he was trying to figure out where to take a bite off his sandwich next as opposed to making an attempt to at least make up time. There is a nice bar there but I wasn't even offered a beer or a glass of water for that matter. Nice barber shop in terms of decor and style but the staff was unprofessional and uninviting to say the least. Not to mention, don't respect their customers time. I wound up leaving and took my business elsewhere. Hope the barber enjoyed his sandwich was worth the $100 loss....

Somehow I thought I had gotten "really good" at doing it myself, but that was delusional. So this was my first professional cut since then and I'm SOOOOO happy!!! Jaimie, the receptionist is also a doll! She fit me in last minute and her hair looks great too! They also offer facial waxing. Will probably get my brows done next time. Prices are incredibly reasonable, super convenient location sort of across from the Winn Dixie but not directly on US 1 Plenty of parking. They do men's hair as well. It's so nice and calm in this salon!!! It's truly a perfect addition to the keys life/experience!! Big thumbs up!

Disappointing Experience and Poor Time Management…read more I was really disappointed with my experience today. I called two days in advance to schedule an appointment for Wednesday at 10 AM. When I arrived, both nail technicians were working with other clients. I completely understand that appointments can run behind, so I patiently waited. After about 15 minutes, one technician finished with her client, acknowledged that I was waiting, and told me it would be another 10 minutes. Instead, she proceeded to give another woman a manicure while sitting at the pedicure station. That additional 10-minute wait turned into approximately 20 minutes. When she finally came over to begin my appointment, she was interrupted again to help the other technician and then spent time responding to appointment-related text messages on her phone, all while I was still sitting there waiting. At this point, my appointment was already running about 45 minutes behind schedule. The salon appeared to be understaffed, and I understand how stressful that can be. However, this situation could have been avoided with a simple phone call letting me know they were running behind and asking if I could come in at 11 instead. I made an appointment for a reason. My time is valuable, just like everyone else's, and I felt that it wasn't respected today. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
