My little one is preparing to jump in water with her coach Gau - The image features a surveillance monitor displaying a live feed of an indoor swimming pool area. The pool has multiple lanes marked by floating lane dividers, with a person in swimwear standing near a mannequin at the poolside. The environment includes tiled flooring, safety cones, and pool equipment, indicating a controlled aquatic facility setting.

My 4-year-old takes private swimming lessons with Gau here and I couldn't wish for a better coach. Gau managed to turn my daughter into a confident swimmer who has already partially mastered some technics like breaststroke, swimmimg on her back and effective breathing. She coaches little ones with compassion, patience and utmost attention. As long as Gau is there we'll keep taking more lessons and I already convinced my sister to choose her as a coach for her child. The only downside in this pool is water temperature which ia on a cooler side as I believe it's infended for adults rather than children. Other than that, its a nice facility overall.

Tennis lesson - The image shows an indoor tennis facility with at least two courts separated by a net. There are children and staff members engaged in tennis practice, with some children holding tennis rackets. The ceiling has bright overhead lights and large ventilation ducts. The walls display advertisements, including Coca-Cola, and there are benches along the sides of the courts. The overall setting is a sports complex designed for tennis training and lessons.

My daughter has done gymnastics here for the past two years, and while she loves it, I'm slightly on the fence. MatchPoint is a large facility with various activities gym, swimming, tennis and gymnastics, from what I've seen. As parents cannot stay and watch-- we are able to go up to the cafe and watch via closed circuit tv, which is a nice touch. The have a pretty decent cafe upstairs with various option, the staff up there is very friendly, but on the lower level, they aren't as cordial. My issues with the gymnastics portion is I believe it's slightly overpriced. I guess the caveat to that is, if you pay the full amount prior to the season starting, you can save 10%. Another issue is at the conclusion of the season, they give a final show. However, school is in session, and the show begins at 5PM and they want the children to be there several hours early. It just doesn't make sense, if all these kids are in school, to make it this early and on a school day. Also, we are asked to pay over $200 for socks and customs, along with having to pay $35 per ticket to view our children perform and they don't even have enough seats for us!

Charges - The image displays a mobile banking app showing transaction history with multiple declined charges of $532.62 on different dates. The top section includes a map highlighting the location of MatchPoint NYC, a sports and fitness facility with tennis courts, swimming pools, and fitness classes, situated in Brooklyn, NY. The app interface shows the total monthly balance as $0.00 and daily cash of $5.87.

This is the most toxic place to be member of. I had a membership and during the time (Covid) I had to move to Florida. As I was moving when I asked to cancel the membership they asked for documentation proving I was moving. I showed them the new id I got there which is the enhanced real id which I need to prove my address and many things to get that id in Florida. I showed that too and they still maintain to charge me $532 every day. I mean every day they have been trying to charge my card. It has been draining dealing with this. I have called many times and showed them all the proof they need but somehow they just want to be toxic.

The menu includes sections for brunch, signature sandwiches, soups, and a kids' menu. Brunch options feature items like cottage cheese parfait, Greek yogurt parfait, chia seed pudding, and oatmeal with fruits, with prices ranging from $9.95 to $14.95. Sandwiches include smoked salmon on toast, chicken sandwich, and steak sandwich, priced between $15.95 and $18.95. Soups include chicken and Hungarian mushroom, both priced under $11. The kids' menu offers items such as chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, and cheese quesadilla, with prices from $5.55 to $8.95. The menu also features signature pizzas, sides, and pasta options.

Friendly staff. Clean facility. My child comes every Friday nights for swimming. Their swim schedule is flexible with weekday and weekend availability. I usually chill at the cafe upstairs while waiting. There is plenty seating with healthy food/drink options. The large windows and TV screens allows you to watch your child who swims or plays tennis. There are 2 accessible parking lots located at the front and back entrances.

Outside - The image shows the exterior of the MatchPoint Sports Complex, a large blue metal building with the business name and logo prominently displayed on the side. The sky is clear and blue, and there are some trees and a paved area in front of the building. The building appears to be a sports and fitness facility with multiple activity options.

Absolutely a first rate facility, in terms of the tennis courts, swimming pool and fitness center, but improvements can be made, in terms of hospitality at times. This MatchPoint NYC location is inconspicuously located on Shell Rd where there really isn't many other things around it other than apartment buildings. It's not a massive facility, but large enough to house a clean-looking and large swimming pool (not Olympic-size), formerly 8 tennis courts (now reduced to 6 to make room for a gymnastics training area), a fitness center and cafeteria on the 2nd floor. Although I have been coming here for years to accompany family members who get tennis and swimming lessons, I have only utilized the facility, specifically the tennis courts, a handful of times. From my experiences using the tennis courts, the courts are regulation, pristine and absolutely magnificent to play on. Each court is separated by netting, however balls can fly over them from time to time still. If you're interested in (private or group) tennis lessons, from what I know, they are year-round, except during the summer, and can be quite pricey. And from my many observations of the lessons, the attention from the trainers can vary, so choose your trainer wisely. You're paying big bucks for lessons, so make sure you have a trainer you like. As for tennis court rentals, prices vary by day and time, with the "peak" times of the afternoon and early evening being the priciest per hour. Be prepared to open up the wallet either way. As for the swimming pool and fitness center, I cannot comment too much on those because I have never utilized either there. For the curious, there are views of the swimming pool at the 2nd floor cafeteria or on the 1st floor. The fitness center is a bit more private. And a big question I'm sure plenty of new patrons have is, is there parking? Yes, there is! There is a very narrow parking lot by the main entrance, but there is a larger one in the back. Even though this is a great facility for those looking to get in a swim, tennis match/lessons or workout, hospitality has been spotty from time to time. Nothing egregious has ever happened to me, but I've seen a few folks not exude the greatest attitudes here. Just my opinion. Other than that, like I said, it's a really nice facility and especially a great spot to play tennis indoors.

Multisport camp 2022 schedule, rec'd June 22 from camp director. *No mention of swim programming being canceled after July. - A weekly schedule displays daily summer camp activities from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm, including swimming, tennis, soccer, locker room, snack times, lunch, and various sports and arts activities, organized by weekday from Monday to Friday.
    Y K.

BUYER BEWARE! I booked and paid for my kids' multisport summer camp in late March. In May and June the camp Director (Alina) and the person in charge of the swimming program (Victoria) communicated with me multiple times *by email, by text, & by phone*. At no point did anyone tell me that the swimming program was for June 27-August 1st ONLY, since the pool would be closed for renovation throughout August. That's 5 weeks of swimming instead of the 10 we thought we were paying for. *** This location has a strong multi-sport summer camp program. I'd give it 4 stars, but take a star off for lack of timely communication about a planned change in programming. In 2022, after 10% off for "early bird" registration, cost per child is $7,191 for 10 weeks, June 27-September 2nd. Camp schedule includes swimming, soccer, tennis, and some gymnastics / boxing exercises. The kids get a snack around 10:30am & some lunch. They really like the program. However, I don't know if I'll schedule them for Matchpoint multisport camp next year. *How can I trust that next year Matchpoint won't be renovating the tennis courts or closing the swimming pool, and only letting us know when camp is already in session?*

Personal trainer Alexandr Mikula - A group of three people, two men and one woman, are standing close together and smiling at the camera in an indoor space. The man on the left has a beard and is wearing a white Nike shirt. The man in the middle has curly hair and a beard, wearing a black shirt with a logo. The woman on the right has blonde hair tied back and is wearing a teal sports bra. The background shows other people and multiple screens, suggesting a recreational or fitness setting.

The petty monitors at the front will screech @ you and beg you to rejoin months before your time is up. Yes they are that desperate and pathetic. Due to a number of reasons, I would like a full refund. I will no longer be attending Dolphin Fitness for my workouts. I am no longer comfortable working out there and each year I find my workouts at this club less and less enjoyable. My decision is based on a number of reasons. 1. I am tired of dealing with the minefield of overly crowded equipment on the workout floor from Dolphin's other previously closed down clubs. It's not only an eyesore but it's also probably a fire hazard and increasingly more dangerous. My bruised up shins are the proof. 2. The men's locker room is just as filthy, gross, unappealing and inconvenient as it's always been there are always gnats flying all over the one urinal in the entire gym. It's tiny, crammed and uncomfortable. Given the fact that it hasn't changed at all in the 15 years that I've been a member, other than a couple of new lightbulbs that have recently been installed. Bravo. 3. The consistently abysmal attitude from half of the cleaning staff is annoying. I shouldn't pay to deal with attitudes from miserable people. 4. The increasingly inept decision making from the management is concerning. There have also been more and more instances of management siding with increasingly troublemaking personal trainers who are always starting fights with members over equipment. The gym is overcrowded and inconvenient but the management will always side with the trainers because it brings money to the club. 5. Dolphin fitness clubs is clearly a dying brand. All other DF clubs are closed down, probably for good reason. This last ditch effort to renovate the last DFC to try to make it look like something other than an old bowling alley with decades old weight equipment strewn all over the floor is laughable. They will most likely be out of business entirely soon as all their other locations are long gone. You really take your chances joining. Stay far away from this garbage club. There are plenty of options better than this terrible establishment.

The kitchen smells of rotten food, the higher-ups are incapable of empathy or sympathy of any kind. The biggest offender of this I will NOT mention by name, thought it is the head of the camp. In my short time of employment at the camp, I have only seen him around three times. Otherwise, he will be sitting in his office and eating food brought up by P.As. Camp counselors (not to be confused with Program Assistants (P.As)) are also incredibly rude and entitled. A handful of them will wild out at the kids who are misbehaving for some reason. Just kidding! The reason is because they are children. I was unfortunate enough to see this in person and it was fairly jarring to see a young adult scream at an eight year old in such a vicious and inappropriate manner. As a P.A it was my job to handle food, and also work as human wall. During our many beach trips every one or two day(s) P.As (who are still mostly teenagers) would line up on a beach, and clean it up for the children. This in an of itself would not be an issue if it were not for the fact that the P.As would be forced to line up on each side of a small portion of the beach and stand in the hot sun for hours at a time. No joke. You would only be allowed to move if you were to get water. Of course, phone usage was reasonably prohibited. I was lucky enough to be exempt, but after my termination I find it unnecessary to sing any praises of this downright horrendous excuse of a job. I would constantly hear my co-workers complaining about how they've burnt or just overheated. If you are unfortunate enough to fall hook line and sinker into this job via SYEP or any other means, please be prepared just in case for the following of which I have endured. Horrible management, poor excuses of busy work, your bosses will treat you like children, your 'co-workers' (counselors, not all) will call you slurs behind your back and insult you for not bringing them their food in time (as if they are incapable of getting it themselves), and a whole lot of standing around and doing nothing except baking in the sun, or being chewed out. I was fired without warning, only mere days after being told how good of a worker I am. The big boss decided to terminate me because I ate a piece of watermelon from a tray (with a fork, with a hairnet, with gloves) and said it was a "HEALTH CONCERN" and that his "hands were tied". Reportedly, I had been told by my co-workers that this was not allowed, and that this would surely be reprimanded. However, I have zero recollection of ever having an event like this, and even if I did in my humble opinion I believe that executive warning should be stated before termination. This was not the case. Oh, and the boss used rather unsavory and vulgar language to describe my heinous crime. He used words such as "dirty mouth" to describe me. I was frankly taken aback that this would be the final nail in the coffin for me. Or should I say FIRST and final, as I had never been reprimanded in my entire time working here up to this point. If you are to work here, please know that nothing is off the table for management.
