On our…read morerecent trip from Europe back to the U.S.A., I count six distinct stops between arrival at the airport and the departure gate. Of the six, none was more enjoyable than Copenhagen Airport Tax Free. There's something comforting about duty-free shopping, partly because the shopping format is remarkably consistent from airport to airport, and you know you're getting a reasonably good deal. The sales people were friendly, the aisles wide enough for travelers with backpacks and briefcases, and the displays beautiful (as they almost always are in these places). If you're shopping with Therese H., you can be sure that the Scotch will be thoroughly examined. She ended up with a couple bottles, and I went with old standby Lagavulin 16 at a very good price. Keep in mind, fellow yelpers, that if you have a connecting flight in the US, you're going to have to find a way to take your alcoholic beverages out of the pretty duty-free store bags and pack them into your checked luggage for the final leg. Fortunately, we travel with bubble-wrap packs and are otherwise reasonably well prepared for such eventualities. You might be surprised what fits into a 21" piece of hard-sided luggage.

Natural perfumes still upset a great many people and quite a few customers are looking for those natural, vegan and perfume free products. Pure Shop seems to be targeting those upper middle-class women of a certain age who seem to think that they must have all their products smelling like a field in Provence that's been dipped in beeswax and coloured with crushed beetles. Their customer service is very hit and miss too, however on my last few visits there's been a lovely helpful young gentleman. They are the only physical shop with a wide range of the fantastic make-up products from the German brand Logona, of which most are vegan, gluten-free and without harsh natural perfumes, and they all fall at the affordable end of the price scale.

The clothes: It's a very curated selection of brands that are of great quality but I've never heard of them. That's the joy of traveling though and perfectly what I'm looking for. I wrote a lot of e-mail at the same shop and also to official brand and I was told that they would send a new perfume but real big lie cause to my answer with address they disappeared. I finally found an all natural, oil-based line of bar soaps at this shop!!! The store also carries some great product lines such as Julique and Juice Beauty. Everything is set up nicely and the store feels spacious and clean. It's incredibly easy to access by multiple public transit lines and is in a gorgeous neighborhood. The women at the shop were quite knowledgeable and were able to suggest some other products for me based on my need. I'll be returning next week to buy these products next week once the new shipment arrives.
