The girls who work there are all very sweet, but the store itself is missing some finer details compared to Sephora USA and Asia. The makeup testing stations aren't always stocked with rubbing alcohol (for sanitizing products), makeup remover, or tissues. The layout and product displays aren't quite as impressive as other Sephoras. And there seems to be simply less selection overall in terms of skincare and hair products. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great place to shop for makeup. If you haven't heard of their rewards program, it's worth checking out. The rewards themselves are mediocre, but the part I've always enjoyed is the little birthday gift Sephora offers every year.

Pure Shop seems to be targeting those upper middle-class women of a certain age who seem to think that they must have all their products smelling like a field in Provence that's been dipped in beeswax and coloured with crushed beetles. Their customer service is very hit and miss too, however on my last few visits there's been a lovely helpful young gentleman. They are the only physical shop with a wide range of the fantastic make-up products from the German brand Logona, of which most are vegan, gluten-free and without harsh natural perfumes, and they all fall at the affordable end of the price scale.

The owner helped me with my nails. She was incredibly friendly and we had great conversation about travel, Copenhagen, and life in America and Europe. I would definitely recommend going here for a more American salon experience! I guess what attract people to LUSH is the quality and ethics of their products, organic, handmade and not using animal for testing. The products are generally more expensive than other brands in the same category but that is expected if they are as they promise. The shop is beautifully decorated, always with signs to distinguish each products - and this is important since most of the products look like candies or chocolates :P. The girl working there is always 100% nice and helpful if you have doubts or questions about thing. I give it four out of five because I have never tried their products myself, but as buying experience go, they're pretty good.
