My eye insurance allows an exam and glasses every two years. In the meantime I wanted to order…read moreglasses myself on the internet. When I called for my prescription information they wouldn't give it to me over the phone. After picking it up they left out one number (PD number). When I called asking for it they wanted $5 dollars. Ridiculous!!! I realize they don't want to lose business but this really did the opposite for them.. They really did lose my business. They won't be seeing me when I'm due for another exam and glasses.

Hello.Stopped at Steven's Optical this morning as my wife's glasses broke over the weekend. The arm…read morebroke off the frame. We were outside the warranty, however, Steven was able to find a frame, on site, at an extremely reasonable price, that he could put my wife's lenses' in! Within 15 minutes of entering the building, he had a solution to the broken glasses, repaired them, and we were on our way!! His level of service, and willingness to go the extra mile to solve this issue, is VERY much appreciated. We are very proud to have a local business in our community that serves our area so well. When I asked why they needed my Social Security number I was told that it was an office rule that the owner, Dr. Stein, instituted. If you value your privacy I would suggest another doctor, as it is most doctors have your birthdate and phone number - by adding your Social Security number you are asking to have your identity stolen.

I explained my situation and the receptionist said "Can you come in tomorrow at 8?" I was floored. Everyone in the office was so nice and went out of their way to accommodate me. I was a fan of Dr Joseph before but his front end staff has made me a patient for life. Couldn't ask for a nicer group, if you are looking for an eye doctor this is the place to be.
