I would not recommend. They really brainwash your here and make you think you need to attend these expensive workshops to change your life for the better; when in reality it shouldn't cost you a dime to change your life. I know people who have done all three levels of this transformation program and changed in the beginning and went back to how they used to be. I haven't even started the program yet, but i met some people who are RAVING about it. When I gave her my credit card number for the deposit, I was very concerned when they charged my card even though I won't be attending until November! THat's 3 months away. They don't do refunds??? WTF! I have a really bad feeling about this. I'm told it's part of their program to "commit", but that just makes me feel very uneasy about investing my time, finances and energy into a training that condones this behavior. I went through the basic. I'm SORRY I did. You are to pick a "buddy" who your suppose to put ALL your trust into. I opened up to my buddy that I'll call Krystal. I shared things that I've only shared with a counselor before. Very Private and very hurtful things that have happened to me. My buddy went further in the trainings along with a family member of mine. Well my buddy "Krystal" took it upon herself to share everything about what I shared with her to my family member. Even though I went through the trainings a few years back I'm still having things come up by my family member now. At this point the training did MORE damage then good. My trust in people is completely gone. I have taken courses and trainings in so many subjects and hobbies throughout my life, but never before MITT, taken the time to explore a program about ME. It took me months to get over my skepticism and try the Basic Level Program, and my only regret is not having done it sooner. Trust your friend who told you about MITT. Why would you listen to strangers instead of the person who cared enough about you to recommend this workshop? If you believe these strangers who say that MITT is a cult, where is your sense of urgency to rescue your friend out of the cult? You must not care enough about your friend or don't believe that this is a cult then. Perhaps you are just looking for excuses not to take the workshop. Fair enough. If you're interested in what a stranger has to say, here it is. It is NOT a cult. No one keeps you hostage and no one forces you to stay. The workshops are supported by past graduates who believe that it's beneficial for everyone and who enjoy being part of this community. Just as organizations such as Toastmasters or Sierra Club wouldn't be dubbed a cult, this is a community of people who are committed to self-improvement. Basic course: One of the best experiences of my life. Best case scenario, it's life changing. Worst case, it's a waste of 5 days and $500. I've wasted 5 days and $500 plenty times over. Even few nuggets of self-discovery is worth it to change the trajectory of my life. Advance course: Tougher than the basic course, because exercises are designed to be more interactive with other members than the Basic course. Legacy Program (LP): Hardest program I've ever completed. Harder than 4 years of college. One of the proudest moments of life for completing something so challenging. Similar reasons why people run marathons, climb mountains, do triathlons. Well worth it. Final word: you get what you put into it. Does it last? Again, it depends on if you keep doing what you learned from the workshops. **Message for Christians only: I've been a Christian for 38 years. There is only one gospel that truly transforms a person's soul and that can provide the ultimate peace and MITT is NOT it. Nor does it pretend to be the only source of transformation. As a matter of fact, they explicitly say they're not the only source of truth. However, sadly, some people take these self-improvement courses as the gospel, but that's not MITT's fault. I would take these workshops as a tool, just as one would attend a time management course or a financial planning course. But I tell you this, I have NEVER experienced a safer, more vulnerable environment - no where in any church setting in the past 38 years. I worked out James 5:16 like never before with the people here than I've ever done with other Christians. I believe that Christians will get exponential benefit from these workshops than the non-Christians, because of the work of the Holy Spirit. Pray during the workshops. The key is discerning the truth from non-truths, because these workshops convey messages from many different belief systems, including Christianity. However, having experienced this through the lens of a Christian, most of the advice are biblical. Ironically, the non-Christians benefit without knowing that it's biblical. read more

Buyer beware. They will encourage you not to do research before committing your money. Do it anyway. They will vilify critical thinking. Think critically anyway. Everything is a secret and a surprise. Cheap manipulative tricks. You are encouraged to enroll others to eventually secure a legacy. You can not question the leadership or technology of thought without it being inverted on you. Strong tactical experience. High risk of submission and you can grow very defensive of the validity of the experience. But it's mostly because if you leave- you are encouraged to feel like you hurt yourself and are hurting others. They aren't bad at what they do- that's why you should stay away. read more

Cult. Went through it years ago. I left ( after being told I couldn't leave and was followed to the bathroom where i ran to hide) and was followed out of the hotel and was verbally and physically attacked by two members. The only way I could leave was because i screamed "these two men aren't allowing me to leave this hotel" in front of tons of people and even they they followed me to the parking garage... This "training" is a money scam disguised as help. They don't pay employees as everyone is a volunteer and they pocket everything. Be extra careful if you are a doctor, lawyer or any other high end professional. You'll be treated like a king and used as bait. Any group that forces you to sign an NDA saying that if youre hurt emotionally or physically it's not their fault in order to stay... is a red flag. They literally deprive you of food and sleep and use basic yet manipulative techniques to make you think you've been opened up. They turn you against family members if they don't join and after basic it's just a MLM scheme. You're encouraged to snitch on each other and ostracize anyone that speaks out. I loved my experience with basic training and can't wait to attend advanced. I believe so much in this process, it is changing my life.

I was that guy who read every single review before doing this training. I resisted it heavily when my friend tried to recruit me to do it and I read everything I could find about Lifespring on all the sites and cult research sites. I knew most of the exercises in basic and some of what would happen in advanced before ever stepping into the program based on what I had researched online and could put together. I was going out of my mind based on what I had read and pretty terrified of it all. Everything I read thru research is true, at least as far as plain words describing the experience goes. This training is in 3 levels and each ( progressively more expensive level ) subtly brings a person to a place using psychology and emotional experience to make them feel or realize like they have changed or see or experience themselves in a new way. It's an unpacking of your subconscious mind as much as you will allow it to be. Your buttons will be pushed and you will be emotionally tweaked. That reads far worse than it is. It doesn't really discourage critical thought as much as it forces you to REALLY feel emotion instead of to ONLY always think. Being stuck in your head so much always hiding, reflecting, analyzing, judging, and not taking action can be a very debilitating thing because it gets in the way of what you want or pushing yourself and growing. Holding on to thoughts about yourself from past experiences does the same thing. This training takes you off mental autopilot so you can take a step to the side and see what you have been holding on to, what stories you tell yourself and how does any of that get in the way of what you think you deserve, who you are, and what you want out of life. It's not the worse thing you can do for yourself. The difference between reading about it and experiencing it first hand is worlds apart. So don't be an over-analytical ass like me and trust that regardless of whatever you read the experience is likely to be very different for you because every group is different and there are different trainers that base their approach on the needs of the group. My experience was good for me because if you had told me when I started Basic that I was going to be doing what I was doing in Advanced, I would have said: Go f**k yourself, hell no!! And that mindset is what this training helps with. It helps reveal the resistance your mind ( or ego ) throws up at anything. Ultimately, I found the experience to be very helpful and I'd recommend it if you are the kind of person who is in their head a lot ( like me ) basic and advanced could be really beneficial for you. In Basic, I really had some eye opening moments that revealed how closed off I was and how I was projecting my negative self-narrative on to other people and not really connecting with them. In Advanced, I probably got to experience myself for about a day or two free from the frustrating negative ticker tape of thoughts streaming thru my head. Advanced is basically 2.5 days of getting it all out and then 2.5 days of seeing yourself in a new way. It is an intense, incredible, amazing experience that pushes you right to the edge and then releases all of that pushing at just the right moment to build you back up and then at the end of that high you are asked to continue to the next level. That sounds worse than it is but its at least on paper what happens. The staff have previously gone thru all 3 levels of the program. I only did 1 month of the third level ( Legacy ) but don't be misled the third level is all about recruitment, Think of the Legacy Program as accelerated team sales ( enrollment: getting people into the training because you want to help them ) on steroids while you do goal setting, push yourself and your time by serving, get daily coaching, do challenging team exercises and meetings, and pull off a community service project. As much as I loved the first two parts of the training I didn't feel strongly enough about it to continue on and in Legacy, you MUST be an evangelist. If you have friends who are pushing you to do the training it is because they are likely in the Legacy part of the program and are being pushed to enroll. It is what it is. I'm neutral about it. In Advanced when you are on cloud 9 and want to conquer life they undersell this aspect and it is deceptive. Ultimately, I am glad I did this and I am glad my friend annoyed me ( enrollment ) to get me to do it. I give it 3.5 stars for 1. I think it's too expensive 2. The process can be very rigid and frustrating at times. The staff can sometimes be just as rigid and pushy. It is what it is and so the desire to resist the process is normal. Just push thru it!! It's uncomfortable but useful and that is the point. I do think it could be a worthwhile experience for anyone that needs a good psychological shove!! CURRENT MOOD: In awe, inspired and floating in the cloudssssss I was part of the latest group to graduate this past Sunday evening in Los Angeles, Basic Training #147. Joining this program and committing to the training was one of the most important and critical life decisions I have ever made. This past year I have committed all of my time and energy on healing myself, in example, traumas and adversities that I've faced over the span of my life, since I was a baby. I became so sick and tired of people taking advantage of my kindness and my heart, using me and walking all over me. I felt that as hard as it was to go through the traumatic experiences I went through, looking inside of myself for all of the answers and seeking peace from within was THE ONLY way to move forward successfully. Thankfully I've been extremely blessed with amazing and true friends who love me dearly and wish only happiness and peace for me. One of those people being my angel and sponsor, who told me about the MITT program. She just recently graduated the Legacy Program #144 and already completed some volunteer work with teenagers in the community through the Torch Foundation. I was very open to attending this training because I was already on my spiritual path, I realize for some people it may have been harder to make this commitment because IT IS a commitment. Everyone will have their own views and opinions of the program, understandably so. This review is based on my hands on experience in the training with the trainer, staff, and the 218 others who attended with me. THE TRAINER, Kathy Benson, is absolutely amazing. She is incredible and got through to me in a way that I feel no one else would have been able to. Throughout the whole training she captivated my attention with her no nonsense, no bullshit attitude. Exactly what I needed to jumpstart and reinvent my life. Not to mention she LOVES piiiiiiitbulllllllssss, she is a pitbull mom like me, she also rescues pitbulls from all over, and has an awesome sense of humor, she's hilarious!!!! Hearing her speak from her experiences, tell inspirational stories, and how she taught the training, no comparison. A once in a lifetime experience just based on her training approach alone. She is a blessing to the Earth and to each and every person she encounters. She will forever hold a special place in my heart, I felt so blessed to have had her as my trainer throughout the training experience. THE STAFF, Were extremely pushy at first, I understood after the first evening that it was all part of the training experience and getting you out of that "comfort zone" mentality. It took me a bit to get use to the staff approach in the training. I feel for me, hearing their stories first instead of at the end of the training would have helped in this aspect. Aside from that, they were all very kind and extremely dedicated to helping everyone in the group. Finding out that they all volunteered their time for the 5 days of the training was super cool. Dedicating their time and support out of love and not for pay, feeling how dedicated they were to the group and helping everyone find their way was amazing. Although I have to say that the staff that were outside of the door assisting with the name tags and I guess you would call them "door guards" a few of them were... putting it nicely, RUDE. Just sayinnnn ;) Lol. My small group leader, Tony was SO DOPE!! He was super cool, inspiring, sweet and beyond dedicated to everyone in his group. Super humble and kind hearted man. I felt I made more than the right choice when I chose him as my group leader. THE ENVIRONMENT, BEYOND INSPIRING AND SO SUPPORTIVE. Wow is all I can say when it came to the MITTraining environment. It is so difficult to put into words how incredibly accepting, loving, caring and supportive the MITT atmosphere was. I felt so much love, such an incredible connection with everyone in the room. We all had stories to share, pain and turmoil that we had to endure. So many of us living in a lifetime filled with sadness and disappointment. On August 16th 2017 at 7pm, We all came together and loved each other, supported one another, stood together and made this dark world so much brighter. A powerful force all of us became. Many of us walked into the San Diego banquet room unsure, closed off, distrusting, nervous and cold. Walked out hugging, loving, smiling, laughing, standing together, supporting one another, a diverse united front. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! IT WAS SOOOOO POWERFUL!!! OVERALL, If you are feeling like you've hit rock bottom, unsure about the direction in which your life is headed, fearful, lacking confidence or lacking drive, looking for like minded individuals to befriend or share camaraderie for a lifetime, whatever the case! I took this program to change my life , but the reason for the 1star is that I told them my house was close to burning to the ground due to the woodley fire and due to issues and they decided to boot me from the program which is bs if it's an emergency it should be an exception I felt as if mitt has robbed me of my $500 due to this situation . They say they are here to be supportive but they don't even know the term for it ... if you want to be supportive mitt then make accommodations to those who had to suffer losing their homes just cause they had to attend the program to make sure they had their money's worth ... guess all you guys care about is the money in your pockets then what others value is their homes . read more

It is not a "gift" as so many of the reviewers suggest. It is a scam. Nothing they teach in the course is out of the ordinary or life-changing. There is a reason all of the 5-star reviews are recent, and that there is no history for this business. They change names and locations as soon as people realize what they are doing. If you are unfortunate enough to have a "friend" try to get you to take the course, you'd be better off wondering what it was all about than caving... The sales practices are unethical. They will push you until you feel forced to take the course, and then criticize you harshly if you change your mind. Don't even consider asking for a refund, even if you decide not to take the course after a few minutes of saying yes. I imagine this is how they make much of their money... They pressure you to take the course before you have time to look anything up or speak to other people. Once you have realized what a scam it is, you cannot back out because they've already taken your money. IThey particularly like to ask you who you spoke to that "poisoned your mind." If you listen long enough or speak to enough representatives you will hear the same rhetoric repeated. Avoid the headache, avoid the harassment. I'm a fan. This program provides several tools which, if used properly, can support you in finding out some things about yourself. Be skeptical going in, it will help you. Be open to listening, it will help you. All in all, the trainings are what you make of them. If you use them to change your life, they can do that. If you get nothing out of it, that's also your choice. You can expect include to have everything you know challenged. You will be put in stressful, uncomfortable and out of your ordinary experiences. I studied philosophy for years to attempt to understand the world, this program provided something a book didn't. Pretty much none of the ideas were new, I had read about them, watched videos about them, talked about them and thought I understood them. That was a different experience, not new knowledge, but application of knowledge. You can read all the books in the world about swimming, watch videos of swimming, discuss swimming, but never understand what it actually feels like to swim until you jump in the water. It's sort of the same with this program. The paradigm expressed is a radically different interpretation of the world that some people choose to believe, others do not. My experience has been that interpreting the world through the paradigm provided in the MITT training creates an experience with more freedom, responsibility and power over my self and my emotions. It's your choice what you get out of this. If you decide to do it, that's feedback, if you decide not to do it, that's feedback also. When I started MITT Basic training I thought everything was pretty good in my life and I just needed a little help being more assertive. BUYER BEWARE Bottomline.... MITT is a FOR profit company. At this point, someone close to you referred you to this program. Maybe you trust them, maybe they just seem happier than you, but for whatever reason, you are contemplating taking this course. I was in the same position. And after taking the 5 day basic course, and feeling an intense pressure to sign up for the advanced class (P.S. if anyone wants to buy my advanced deposit, please DM me! LOL) i realize all this is, is a scam to get your money. Essentially they make you feel like a victim for 5 days, and you have these "breakthroughs" which feel real to you at the time, but afterwards you realize are a result of sleep deprivation, hunger, and dehydration. I am a LICENSED THERAPIST, and i am advising those who have an inkling to join to really reconsider. These people are using psychological manipulation to force you to have "breakthroughs" which are not real, or helpful in the long run. You will feel an emotional "high", you will want to continue with the next course, and you will change the way you talk and relate to others. So if you are desperate, go for it. I recently tried a class that has changed the course of my life. I am originally from Slovenia, but have been traveling the world for the last 3 years! In October of 2019, I heard about MITT from a friend and it caught my interest. I heard amazing things about it, but nothing concrete since it is experimental work and with some things, you can't know too much otherwise it wouldn't have the same impact on you. I was on the fence for a while and then decided I was going to enroll in the one in December. It was called Basic training. Leading up to it I had my angel, the person who helped me with enrolling in the workshop, guide and support me on the preparation before it started. Two hundred people walked into the room on Wednesday completely unaware of how these people will soon be our friends and family for life. I arrived at the Hilton hotel by LAX on Wednesday evening to register and start the course. It is a five-day training, that opened my eyes to how I have been living my life. I learned what was holding me back, how I treated people and how I showed up. It felt like I had a blindfold on since as long as I can remember and they took it off for me, for the first time in my life. I became more confident, aware and I learned valuable lessons on communication and language I used in everyday life. After the Basic training was over we had an option to sign up for the Advance course. Since the trainer was the same and most of the people from the group choose to continue I had to do it with them. It sounds insane when you find out how many people are in the room and that there is only one trainer leading it. Let me tell you this, all of the people in the room are your mirror, lessons, therapists, coaches and it truly takes that many for the massive amount of breakthroughs to occur. How to describe the Advanced course. If Basic opens up your eyes to how you have been living your life, Advanced course shows you how to break through the old ways of living and you truly experience freedom from everything that has been holding you down. Imagine the freedom of flying? That is how it feels. It was a five-day course as well but way more intense than Basic training was. You really have to be willing to do the work but the reward is worth it. At the end of the second one, I felt like I was unstoppable! I spread my wings and was ready to fly, but what I soon realized was how fast you can get pulled back into the drift when you are not around the constant support. That is where the Legacy program comes in. Legacy gives you a chance to use the tools that you got in the first two trainings in your real everyday life. It is not for everyone! I am currently five weeks away from my graduation from a total of 4 months altogether. It is all day, everyday commitment and there were so many challenges and events that I encountered along the way! I would 100% recommend doing it because it has changed my life forever and I am not even done yet! Leaving MITT was the best. Special thanks to Yelp for keeping my review at the top. I'm celebrating being free of MITT and everyone after giving copious amounts of time and energy serving both LPs, making myself available, actively moving both teams forward, generating all resources for our LP121love project in 48 hours (generous donor ready to give tens of thousands to our foundation, an org to bus intercity kids to our project, 4 orgs to support marketing, connection to discounted gardening stuffs, friend agreed to build a new sign for the East LA garden, friend to donate gardening boxes and work with the hydroponics team, etc.), and so much more. The first LP121 torch bearer hung up on the group call I announced this on. I only gave them the hydroponics expert who donated boxes, because it's silly to give to a team of takers and to people who say negative things about you but expect you to continue giving. Also formed a foundation for our team to run and called people from 2-digit LPs to relocate the main office with the purpose of housing graduates/veterans. Planned to use this foundation to create regular projects. If it was my teammates/Captain would have made it about the project. This community does not serve MY goals and vision. My angel resisted for years before finally admitting he sourced gossip over the phone. Oddly he believed I "wanted to be abused" (in his words; I don't), I didn't think I was "worthy" even though he ditched me when I needed his support, and was a "glutton for rejection" which maybe stems from being rejected a lot so I gladly removed myself after being committed (it means no matter what) to his greatest potential for nearly 2 years while he continued projecting everything he didn't love about himself onto me.... He didn't/doesn't honor his promise of supporting MY greatest potential and consistently avoids any peaceful resolution. He claims he didn't talk about me while people/girls from his LP and other LP's said he told them I was "crazy" and "couldn't let go".... Recently he told me people he's friends with, like girls he slept with while in LP, would agree and that he told everyone "that's their opinion of me" (see above) on top of telling me I'm "insane" before finding out he uses drugs.... All in one contradictory sentence. I spent a long time trying to create a resolution with someone who lies and enjoys "pushing the bounds of human decency" while telling me nice things. Some manipulative girl who's friends with my angel emailed me dishonest stuff he messaged her after pretending she didn't chase him while I was dating him and more. She's now dating some guy named Jake Udell who thinks this was written for attention. At the end of this Summer, my angel said I didn't have anything to prove to him and that we needed to communicate.....? Huh. For a "spiritual" person, he wasn't aware of much except how to be manipulative which is unfortunate. He warned that I'd be surrounded by weak people and am stoked I shut him out of Advanced to keep my teammates' space safe and pure after he tried to force his way in. His type = liability. Margo has not refunded me circus tuition (sued them and won although MITT claims it refunded me- see BBB) and told my attorneys I didn't pay for my courses which I did. She didn't return any calls. Some people mentioned she reached out to them randomly after removing me. One of her PhD students appropriately called her a "weird bird." Now I only follow mature leaders who can check their ego and prioritize their health. Ones that respectfully value communication instead of hanging on to their limitations while telling people to let go of theirs (I.e. Margo shrieking it in front of LP121). I'm happy to have empowered (as best as I knew) a group of mostly drug and alcohol addicts into seeing that a world leader is anyone who makes a difference in their families and or at a world level. I'm grateful to have given everyone I met a massive piece of my heart and don't regret it. I'm even grateful to have shared the "what we say about other people has a lot to do with ourselves" tid bit with Ben Sigman LP124 at the start of his LP who wrote a review even if he and friends later said not so great things about me. Rejecting Michael Trainer while dating my angel is what these jerks share. I appreciate attempts from people in both LPs to reconnect (without clearing anything up ha). Ironic it was people from my last review. People in LP126 thought I was holding them back when I advocated for ethics in enrollment. I don't befriend people from unless they empower and serve me professionally. No interest in being Captain nor a coach. I had someone tell me what I told people through both LPs; we're all human. Decide for yourself. There are better things that do NOT involve MITT like hiring a yoga instructor. PS. Left another program after Lewis Howes made a ridiculous comment about millennials ha. I took basic & advanced in June of 2005. I was in my early 20s back then & my brother highly recommended I try it (he did basic only & loved it). I only took advanced because for whatever reason, I got in free of charge. It is a roller coaster experience - but I did learn a lot of things about my potential & who I am. At the end of Advanced, they group you up into subtypes or something & have each group put on a performance based around their strengths & their weaknesses, I believe. I ended up being in the group they called the "world changers" or something to that affect. After an excruciatingly long day - we were the final group to perform & the rest of the class had to hold us up with their weary arms over their heads while the teacher/speaker/class facilitator spoke words of wisdom about who we are, what we represent, & what we mean to the world. Pretty powerful stuff that is still with me to this day. I give it 2 stars because truthfully, when I decided I wasn't going to go for the Legacy course - it was as if they were personally offended, turned a very cold shoulder & I just recall that I never heard from anyone from that experience, again. They dropped like flies. All of a sudden I wasn't part of the collective experience anymore - it was bullshit, but I moved past it pretty quickly. I heard things about the "owner". Who knows if they're true, but the classes are very expensive (back then, advanced was a grand for a week-long course - there was no way I could have paid that kind of money, especially after dropping $500 on basic the week before). & they don't provide you with anything. Nothing except a big hotel ballroom from dawn until waaaay after dusk, big speakers with heart-wrenching music &/or upbeat get-you-going tunes, & of course - the facilitator (peppy & rearing to go for 17+ straight hours). They may have provided water, I think. If they don't & you don't bring your own - you'd easily pass out from dehydration. I drove out from Simi Valley every morning, by myself. & by the time I got back home it was easily 1-2am... Sometimes later. Then I'd have to make sure to have my ass back there by like 7am, sharp. It was no joke, & I abided. They own you for a week for the duration of each course, so take that into consideration. You will not have the time nor energy to do anything else. Would I do it again? Eh - if it was free, possibly. Would I pay $1500 for it? Not a chance. read more

It has been a life changing experience! I came in thinking "I'm good, I don't need this my career, and love life are good", little did I know what was in store for me. Basic and Advanced were helpful to personal development. LP was a huge waste of time, money and caused tension in relationships for me due to MITT's pressure to "enroll" more members. I'd recommend the first two courses if you are feeling stuck and need a little kickstart in life. I will start by saying that we are individuals, who will take away our own experience from ANYTHING we do. MITT is no different. I would like to share my experience- Where do I begin?! I will start by saying that these emotional intelligence trainings have been the best, most worthwhile gift I could've ever given myself. I am approaching 30 yrs old, and although I don't have any regrets, I would have loved to have known about these trainings earlier. I am a successful actress and writer. I have a beautiful relationship and a wonderful family. I just knew that there was something inside me that was holding me back from having more...having it all. I was able to specifically identify what was holding me back in my already wonderful, happy life. I knew I could live an extraordinary life creating extraordinary results, but didn't know how to expand myself and open myself up to the possibilities. I have gained tools to help me handle everyday obstacles, learn from my experiences and move forward in a positive way. I too, am SO glad that I didn't do any research online about MITT before I started. I was referred by a very successful friend, whom I admire and respect. I went into the Basic training open minded, and wanting to grow. I went into the experience thinking "If I get ONE positive thing out of this, it will have been worth it." Boy, did I underestimate the gift I was about to receive! :) I started living, letting go of entitlement, anger and negativity that I was dragging around with me, developed a deeper connection with the people I love in my life, giving back to my community, focusing on living outside of my comfort zone, and stepping into my power again. However, these are things I continue to work on everyday. Will these trainings fix your problems overnight? No. Of course not. But they WILL empower you, inspire you, and allow YOU the freedom to grow and change. Focusing on what IS working is great, but shifting your focus on what isn't working is the hard part. I took the Basic course a few months ago which I thought it was great. It helped me find out many things about myself and it motivated me to become a better person. I was at the time going through some emotional issues and in need of something like this. So if you are in need of a small push, I would recommend this one only, which is more like a motivational seminar type of thing. Now my experience with the second seminar which is Advance, was terrible! It was an emotional roller coaster and they put a tremendous amount of pressure on you. I am a pretty successful person but in this course they made me doubt myself so much. The first three days you won't hear nothing but insults from the staff and its all part of the plan to make you "breakdown" so that you can "breakthrough". They also use a lot of psychology to manipulate you and make you do things. And if you dont want to continue with the program (because of all the presurre that they are putting on you ) they make you feel like you're a failure and they tell you that "you cannot do this to yourself " "This is your life!" but in reality they don't want to let you quit because they want to make sure they enroll you in the next program so that they can make more money off of you (because at the end of the day, they're in the business of making money). When I told them that I wasn't going to enroll in the Legacy program everyone turn their backs on me and it was like nobody in my group wanted to talk to me anymore. On top of all of this, they sleep-deprive you, if you're lucky you'll get to eat one meal a day and you'll be there for 16 hrs a day for 5 days straight. A lot of the people that decide to continue with the next seminar, they either do it because they own a business or want to start their own business and see this as a networking opportunity, or they are very emotionally vulnerable and unstable and are willing to pay big money to feel loved and like they belong. Also they make former participants of the program, "staff" work for free while the speakers are making all this money. They also pressure you into "enrolling" other people to the program so that they can continue making money. It becomes this kind of cult after the Advance program where they make you talk a certain way and change the way you relate to others. Oh and by the way i saw many people having very bad psychological issues after the program (including myself) and one of the participants couldn't even attend the last day of the seminar due to the fact that she had to be rushed to the psychiatrist because she was having major axiety and depression from the program. I also had a very bad episode of depression after the program and when I told this to my "coach" she told me to stop playing the victim and that it was up to me to feel better or to stay depressed. I didnt call her back the next day as I was supposed to ( cause they make you call them a few more times to see if you started working on your "goals") because I spent the next 3 days sleeping and she didnt even bother calling me to see if I was okay. So if you are planing on taking this seminar just keep all of this in mind and don't let these people brain-wash you. And if you are going through emotional issues consider going to therapy instead or taking a trip or reading a motivational book. It will probably help you more and you won't be throwing your money away. read more

I JUST graduated from the Basic Course. So my opinion is only about the basic course. I really have to say that it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. It's not cultish at all. Some people just say that because they don't know how else to explain a program that helps your self growth and empowerment. Yet people are OK with therapy in general, which can be even worse, more painful and expensive. Anyways, it's really true that the only value you get out of it, is the value that YOU give it. The more open minded you are, the more you will get out of it. It's that simple. You can choose to sit all stubborn like in the back and never participate, and that's exactly what you're going to get. So it's really up to you. To be honest, some people need it or benefit from it more than others, and at different levels. That's obvious though. Even though I do have clear goals in my life and I'm open minded and happy, I still got something out of it. So to be honest, not all the exercises made a big change in me, but there were a couple that I really did like, and just for those, I'd say the course is worth it. I recommend taking this course. I haven't done the others and don't think you have to do LP or go all the way, because I have heard bad things about LP, but this basic course is good in of itself. Again, if you can get SOMETHING out it, even if it's just meeting new people and making friends, I'd say it's worth it. I took a risk, and took the class, and I'm glad I did. I've done a lot of these transformation programs and was hesitant and skeptical headed into MITT after some past experiences that left me feeling a little iffy about different organizations. I can honestly say that MITT was the perfect balance of lecture and experiential exercises that truly helped me clear out the pain of my past experiences and I now have a new awareness of myself and a sense of freedom around certain behaviors I didn't even know I was doing. Since completing the advanced training I've repaired relationships with exes and family members that have made me believe that anything is possible. read more
