Took my nephew for a starter program they had for 10 bucks because I was recommended by a few people who started and quit after they told me not to go.. I informed my brother I would take my nephew since he works and let him know how it was, 1 the staff was very pushy about signing up felt very pressured inform them that their dad my brother would come in the next day or he would call. Well my brother gave me the card information and when I called the next day I spoke with the main guy. He had no manners was rude and said the offer was not valid the next day. Very disappointed and disrespectful. Wouldn't even let me get a word in. don't even bother unless you want to get treated like shit and bad customer aterrice and no bed side manners.. Wow! What can I say, so started my daughter out years ago. She was in mini masters and a part of the afterschool program where they offered for pick up after school. I loved it. Master Weissfisch was so nice and all the instructors who were there. Along with all the front desk receptionist. My daughter also remembered Ms. Rachel at the time who was the transportation driver and loved her also. We really like Masters TKA. They taught my daughter confidence, esteem, focus, discipline and etc. a great start to build up little ones. I never experience anything negative about this place and everyone is always so nice and polite. I am now enrolling my son into the program and he really seems to enjoy it. Thanks so much for the opportunity! I enrolled my 5 year old in classes early this year (2023). He has absolutely thrived. In terms of his overall confidence level and his skills development, I couldn't be happier to bring him here. I have a long-term plan to ensure he develops whatever available martial arts skills I can help him obtain. Tae Kwon Do is always a good base to build from. Since starting classes, he has shown a great aptitude for MA and MMA in separate training. He is soaking everything up and I can't wait for him to move on to more advanced classes. If he were already in a more advanced class, I may have some negative things to say from a personal stand-point of encouraging character development and skill. But we will put a pin in that until that time comes. The staff is very friendly and invested in the development of students; especially when the parents are similarly invested in bring them to class and not just treating it like a gym membership in January to be forgotten by February. As long as you reinforce what they learn here and practice with them on your own time, you will see quick progression on multiple fronts in regard to your child's overall health and well-being. If I had one complaint about this place, it would be that they are routinely short-staffed. I'm not knocking them for it, as it is increasingly difficult to find people willing to work and engage in physical activity. In conclusion, I am very pleased with this place. If you see a bad review, as for any business, take it with a grain of salt. Most of the time these reviews come from someone who doesn't understand the world revolves around a giant ball of gas and not their individual wants and needs. If you want to try something a little different with your kid and don't want to rely solely on team sports and other benign extracurricular activities, try signing them up for some sort of martial arts. It doesn't necessarily have to be this place, although I do highly recommend it. Martial arts are a great way to build your child into a good person. Try it out, stick with it, and I promise you won't regret it. read more

Very unreliable. My child was not picked up on the last day of school due to them having the wrong time for early release day (may 2022), then another morning (june 22) the 1 care giver did not show up. Both times we had to abruptly leave our jobs to make other emergency arrangements for our child. I do not recommend this establishment for child care. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was newly divorced and in transition when I signed my son up for this establishment. When my son was evaluated, I explained to the owner and his associate that I was hesitant to sign the contract because I was about to move residences, and I might not be able to keep bringing him to class, and that I'd have to find a facility nearby whichever area I move. He and his associate verbally ASSURED me that if I moved, all I'd have to do was submit proof of residence and the contract would be terminated. THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON WHY I WENT AHEAD AND SIGNED THE YEAR LONG CONTRACT! Fast forward 5 months...I bought a house and submitted my paperwork to the front desk where I waited 20 minutes for the front desk clerk to scan my sellers disclosure. She came back, told me that everything was done, confirmed my son's last date of classes. Time passes, and I notice that Master's Tae Kwondo has taken more money out of my account. I visit the office and ask why. They told me to wait for the manager to call me. I got in touch with the Manager who told me that she is not concerned with what the front desk person told me, and that she does not approve the cancellation. She claims that the front desk lady made a mistake and typed in my address incorrectly, and that there is a mileage stipulation on which addresses were allowed for cancellation, and that they will continue to take money out of my account whether my son attends this "school" or not. She was very rude throughout the entire conversation. So I asked to speak with the owner. She said she'd have him call me. He didn't call me. He emailed me another day reiterating that there had been a mistake. He also told me a completely different mileage/travel time stipulation than the manager had previously told me. He asked me to explain why I needed to cancel the contact. I did. I also complained about the lack of professionalism and rudeness from the manager. He did not address my complaints at all. He didn't address my reason for the initialcancellation request. He also refused to follow through on what his front desk person told me-that the contract was cancelled. To this day, they are still taking money from my credit card-even though my son has not been back to his establishment, and even though THEY are the ones who made a mistake, and even though I had been handled extremely unprofessionally by the Masters Tae Kwondo staff, manager and owner. Why on Earth would an establishment even want to keep taking money from a customer who has been handled in this way? I plan to tell everyone I know about this and I plan to post this review everywhere until Master's Tae Kwondo does the right thing. This is unacceptable. There are several Tae Kwondo schools in Pearland. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ONE! They are only concerned about money- not ethics- not for the best interests of their students/ parents. MONEY IS KING AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Beware! UPDATE: The owner's response is full of lies. I did not move 4 miles away. All it takes is a search on Navigation to figure that out. The front desk lady was given my sellers disclosure with my address. She scanned it. There was nothing confusing about my address. The owner did not offer me alternative scheduling options! When he saw my public review, he decided to make it look like he offered me other options. He did not. I still have the emails to prove that. The owner did not care about my issues getting my son to the classes. He handled me in a totally different manner than he is presenting online. As a matter of fact, the owner simply emailed me threatening to sue me for writing a negative review..Anyhow the bottom line is, I don't know of any other business that won't honor what the customer is told by their employees, especially if the mistake was THEIRS. read more

This gem of an academy is a fun and positive environment to learn TaeKwonDo while exploring your personal life skills and standers through focus, and self-confidence. My son began his practice with MASTERS at the age of 6 in 2013, and since then we have not looked back. He puts everything he has into what is in front of him.
