I can not say enough about Master's Plus. I have utilized them on a number of occasions and each time I have had nothing but a positive and professional experience. Most recently I solicited them to provide a customized crash ACT prep course for my son, who needed to move his ACT score at least 2 points. The scenario was less than ideal because of time constraints and the course truly requiring more time, but MP worked with him and focused his prep work on areas that would give him the greatest boost. I am and my son is even more thrilled with the results. He boosted his score by 4 points. If he had enrolled sooner and for a complete comprehensive course at MP, I have no doubt in my mind that he would have boosted his score even more. Excellent! We have sent all three of our children to Masters Plus and have utilized their subject tutoring and test prep courses. Most recently our oldest daughter had to take the SSAT for boarding schools admissions. We are used to the standardized testing for public schools and used to Maya scoring well within the 95th %ile or higher. We were shocked when her first SSAT scores came back with scores at the 30% and one subject at the 14th! We learned that this test was measured against some of the stop students in the country and from around the world. We were also told not to expect the same and that the test is similar to the SAT. We enrolled Maya at Masters Plus for the SSAT test prep and with only 2 weeks of tutoring, her overall score increased by 129 points with her Math score in the 81%!! Our Young 7yr was struggling at the start of this school year we didn't know where to start but after mtg the staff members like Ms. Rayburn who suggested that we allow them to conduct an Assessment to determine his needs. MASTERs Plus Tutoring is a jewel in the south suburbs of Chicago. The proprietor, Mrs. Zena Smith, is not only incredibly knowledgeable about standardized testing and how children learn, she is also a great resource because she really cares about your child. I took my child to Masters Plus when she was getting ready to go to high school. Although her grades were high, I felt that there might be gaps in certain subjects, especially math. I was right. But with the help of a Masters Plus math tutor my child started to not only to get the right answer but to thrive. Now math is usually her highest grade. My name is Marlon Bolton and my sons name is Qwentn Bolton. Qwentn attends Simeon Career Academy in Chicago. Qwentn started with Masters Plus in february of 2015 with an entrance test score of 14.
