He is personable, communicative and open about everything that was going on. I had a great experience working with him and am thankful he had the time to take my case. He made me feel comfortable through the process and treated me Like a human being, unlike other lawyers who just want to suck you dry of all your money. I definitely recommend him, he worked hard for me and my family and we received a positive outcome in our case. During the process I also worked with Carly and Cathy, who are also fantastic and helpful in every way.

This review is specifically for Chelsea Miller and her assistant, Dara Tremblay at Blado Kiger…read moreBolan. I have previously had poor experiences with family law lawyers that led me to be wary of them moving forward. Now, years later, I found I needed legal help for a contentious parenting plan modification. Ms. Miller was recommended to me by someone else and I approached with caution. However, she immediately allayed my fears with extraordinary professionalism. She is blunt in the best way possible - cutting to the immediate issue with an immense amount of family law expertise to back her up. When I arrived for my initial consultation, she came prepared by having already read through the basics of my case online. She listened intently and asked specific questions and was honest with her opinions. While she takes a measured personal approach, she is fierce in the defense of her clients once a course of action has been plotted. She doesn't resort to cheap tactics or emotional fluff because she doesn't need to; she has the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve her goals and doesn't want to waste her client's precious time or the court's time. Ms. Miller and Ms. Tremblay are responsive and I've never felt ignored by either of them. She is personable and attentive. My case is not yet completely resolved but, whichever way it goes, I already know that I made the best choice for legal representation possible.

Presents himself as a competent, compassionate attorney, but not so. After every conversation I…read morewould follow up with what he was going to do and the dates he said he would have things done. A week after the due date, nothing done. Then leaving messages for 2-3 weeks before we received the courtesy of a call back. Nothing accomplished, no letters sent. This happened probably 6 or 7 times. Then we were sued because of not cooperating. We would have been better off without any representation. Mr. Smiths negligence caused us to be sued and I have the documentation. When he found out the value of the asset we were selling, he tried to broker the sale when we already had the buyer. Then he said, "Well, looks like there will be enough money for everyone." PS Couldn't return calls because he was out of town to attended 6 funerals. Couldn't return call because flight was cancelled due to mechanical. Guess he was busy fixing it.

Even if you live in Seattle proper, please trust me and take the short drive to consult with his firm. There are never hidden fees or surprises even when the situation requires more work or follow up. -State of the Art Microsoft operating software and legal tools reduce the amount of work and time you have to spend filling out endless forms and drafting lists and materials. Suit against real estate firm for not following state disclosure laws for condominiums. Worse than…read moreit seems probably from this, but an incredible screw up by a pretty reputable real estate company, that I won't go into. Lead attorney was Dickson who thought he was a stand up comedian, basically a smart ass. Legal work was done by a new graduate that was totally unqualified for the job, who had a strange legal approach that would not work in 100 years. I eventually had to suggest that I meet with the attorney for the real estate company. I met the other attorney at his office in Seattle, and was accompanied by Frolich, who knew nothing of the case, and contributed little at the meeting. The correct theory of the case was discussed by me and the other attorney, and we came to agreement on all points in dispute except he objected to paying legal fees. Subsequent to the meeting, I believe one day later as I found out way later, the Dickson group received an email from the other side basically stating what we had agreed on, basically a settlement offer. I was never made aware of this offer, could not get in touch with any attorneys from Dickson, for several weeks, they made no response to the offer as far as I know, possibly never would have. Frohlich billed me several thousands of dollars for his "services" which were just a rip off. I was in the position I needed to get out of the place, felt like I couldn't while the case was open, so needed some resolution. I called the attorney for the other side, and evidently that was more than the Dickson group could handle and they withdrew from the case. Terrible, unprofessional, incompetent service from the beginning. Of course I was poor, had to pay a big retainer, too poor to hire someone else in the mean time . Worst mistake of my life, don't even think about hiring them.
