Worse than…read moreit seems probably from this, but an incredible screw up by a pretty reputable real estate company, that I won't go into. Lead attorney was Dickson who thought he was a stand up comedian, basically a smart ass. Legal work was done by a new graduate that was totally unqualified for the job, who had a strange legal approach that would not work in 100 years. I eventually had to suggest that I meet with the attorney for the real estate company. I met the other attorney at his office in Seattle, and was accompanied by Frolich, who knew nothing of the case, and contributed little at the meeting. The correct theory of the case was discussed by me and the other attorney, and we came to agreement on all points in dispute except he objected to paying legal fees. Subsequent to the meeting, I believe one day later as I found out way later, the Dickson group received an email from the other side basically stating what we had agreed on, basically a settlement offer. I was never made aware of this offer, could not get in touch with any attorneys from Dickson, for several weeks, they made no response to the offer as far as I know, possibly never would have. Frohlich billed me several thousands of dollars for his "services" which were just a rip off. I was in the position I needed to get out of the place, felt like I couldn't while the case was open, so needed some resolution. I called the attorney for the other side, and evidently that was more than the Dickson group could handle and they withdrew from the case. Terrible, unprofessional, incompetent service from the beginning. Of course I was poor, had to pay a big retainer, too poor to hire someone else in the mean time . Worst mistake of my life, don't even think about hiring them.
