I work retail with customers and looking presin is exceptionally important to me. Jennifer Gamez took the time to listen to my concern regarding the struggles I've encountered in finding the perfect cut for my hair type. She explained how my hair grows naturally and demonstrated how combing it correctly with my new style gave the best results. She also trimmed and shaped my beard a few times until the perfect look was attained. At the end of my session not only was I the best version of myself, I felt like a different person. Confident, energetic and inspired. I highly recommend Master Barber for your haircut and beard shave experience!

Sharp, clean...simply the best! Tony--the master barber himself--has branched off from V's and opened his own shop around the corner. Tony and Jenn have done a phenomenal job recreating all the niceties and haircut menu from V's, but in the smaller, "mom and pop" setting of his own shop. Another great experience at Masters Barber Lounge! We booked time for my son and I to both get our haircut by Jen. Love the customer service, always top notch. I've been getting my hair cut by Tony and Jen for over four years. The website makes it easy to schedule haircuts, shaves or one of there many other services. You even get a massage and a hot towel. Oscar also cuts hair here and he's doing good work as well. You can't go wrong with any of the barbers. They are very popular so I'd recommend planning and scheduling in advance. read more

Excellent experience at Masters today, Tony and Jen are both top notch barbers and also awesome people. Been in the business for a long time, skilled and friendly. 100% trust you will get an excellent cut, beard trim, whatever you're in for. Setting standing appointments myself and recommend you book in advance as they are busy (for good reason!) Come to Masters if you're in the North Tucson/Foothills area (or anywhere else). I've been going to Jennifer for a while now, as she is an outstanding barber! I am a female who wears my hair in a very short pixie, and traditional salons just weren't able to give me the haircut I was looking for. I have a very stubborn "cowlick" in the back of my hair, and after talking to Jennifer at my last appt, we decided to add a "hardpart" to my hair to see if that would help with this issue, and I absolutely loved what Jennifer did. I never worry when I go to Jennifer, as I know she's going to listen and when I'm finished I will have gotten exactly what I was looking for! Masters Barber Lounge is the best in the business, and I wouldn't think to go to anyone else but Jennifer! The shop itself looks upscale, even though it's a relaxed environment with professionals who are the best at what they do! read more

I live in Phoenix and make the drive to come see them because they are so good at what they do. The shop is super clean and in a great location. Awesome place! Jennifer certainly has my vote for best cut I've had since my Marine Corps days! She took her time, listened, brought me tissue as I bled out like a horror movie from my nose and water as I started choking on air lol. Great service hands down. The foothills has been in need of more good places for a men's/boys haircut for a long time! I'm so glad I brought my son here for his first Barber shop experience. He proceeds to say yeah cool we'll blend it to the top then gives me an Eric Estrada chips haircut. Completely different than what I just told him, and completely different from the haircut on the top of his own fcking head... my advice. There are other guys there that seem to know what tf they're doing. Book one of those guys. Or better, go elsewhere

I wished I got his name, but he was all business and pleasant to talk to. He did a very good job shaping my beard and gave me razor fade that was on point. If I could make a suggestion it would be to have name tags by stations of the people on duty. The price was reasonable $30 dollars for what I had done. The parking spaces in front of the barber shop are limited, but I utilized the parking lot across the street. A short walk won't hurt you none. Give them a try.

Pointed to the polish and said to choose one. They have polish on the front desk and on the wall across from the desk. I just picked up the polish on the desk and asked if this was the polish because it looked like it could also be for sale due to it being on the desk. I was then told " you didn't book gel" which was fine I just didn't know which ones I was supposed to pick from. While walking back to the pedicure station I spotted dazzle dry polish which I wanted to try! I asked if she liked it because I was going to buy a kit myself and she said it was great and would be an extra $10 which I agreed. I could tell I was the last appointment of the day due to everyone cleaning up. My gel was removed, I was offered tea which was great. I tried to make conversation with my nail tech who due to someone leaving and saying "bye Mary" was the only reason I knew her name due to the lack of introduction. It was a very unwelcoming interaction I tried to explain I was there for my birthday nails for the vacation I had coming up and it fell short so the remainder of the time was quiet which I get not everyone is chatty. The food/leg massage was good. The polish application fell short, it wasn't clean and in the pictures you can see where I have polish on my skin still... Overall the customer service, the polish application fell extremely short. For $99 all together I expected to love this place and continue to go back but that was not the case.

Tony has been my barber for 7 years. I have followed him from V's to Masters when it was just a small room in an office building and now that's it's morphed into its final form. This shop new location is amazing, and has the elegance of a hang out spot to get some cocktails. Both Jennifer and Tony are some of the best barbers I have ever seen.
