Friend wants another tattoo and asks me to come along to hopefully proposition me into getting one. This place is all capital letters CLEAN. (I may be flashing back to my college age years when tattoo parlors seemed to be the catch all for everything alternative, poor lighting, and always seemed cramped with stuff.) The staff here was friendly and informative. They don't just ask, do you have any questions and move along. They explained what they were doing. (Which allows me to ask questions that I didn't know I needed to ask.) Most tattoo artist are creative but I've never felt others to have been as knowledgeable as the people I interacted with here. Drop in/walk tattoos is so rare you might as assume they never happen. They chat in detail about what you want where you want it and assign specific time to complete and discuss aftercare. When we return and I'm with my sister (who's trying to talk me into a piercing). I again see their quality service when they told her no. But they didn't just say no they explained to her why they advised against it and why they wouldn't do it. Some piercings really just don't work with the shape of your ear. They will take forever to heal. Most people don't keep them long because of healing time, length of hair, wearing glasses/sunglasses, discomfort with sleeping or wearing earbuds. You get plenty of detailed info about aftercare and recommendations on skincare. They have cool accessories. These people know their stuff! read more

visited this location yesterday and was extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism. The moment I walked in, I was rushed and met with slick microaggressive comments, for being on a budget, as if I was being "cheap" for asking questions before committing. Clients should never feel embarrassed or discouraged for seeking clarity, especially when they are paying for a professional service.Every moment of interaction was distasteful and made me not want to get the piercing but i was gonna follow through until I was not clearly informed that a helix piercing is charged per ear. After I had already paid, I was taken to the back and asked which ear. When I said I thought it was both ears, the piercer commented that helix piercings "aren't cheap" and implied I should have known. That remark was inappropriate and unprofessional. It is not the customer's responsibility to know industry rules it is the staff's job to explain/educate them whether customers know or not before taking payment.What truly upset me was that my time was wasted due to poor communication, rude behavior and the two staff i had interact with was Skie and the other lady that was wearing a rolling stone shirt. Funny thing is i alway rave about this place and recommend and its not my first time purchasing jewelries there. But those two people i dealt with ruined the experience for me. read more

i got my nostril pierced about two weeks ago and needless to say i am THRILLED about how it went! skie was my piercer, and they were super chill, comforting and humorous to kinda ease my nerves. the vibe of the store was inviting and the receptionist at the front was so sweet and helpful. skie always warned me whenever they were gonna poke or touch my nose and made sure to be super casual and gentle with piercing. pain went away super quick, within a few days! DEFINITELY better than asking your friend's friend to do it with a needle and a pack of ice. read more

Celia and Marigold are wonderful!! We had gotten my daughter's ears pierced at Claire's when she was six years old. It was crazy busy that day, had to wait a very long time and in the end my daughter's ears got infected and we decided to give up and let them close back up. Now two years later my daughter decided that she was ready to give it another try. Based on some feedback I decided to give Master Pierce a try and WOW! The experience was fantastic from start to finish. Night and Day compared to our experience at Claire's. Such a calm, clean place, with private rooms, where you can lay down. I go to master pierce for all my piercings and was pleased to find an email about the flash tattoos. As it is stated online and in my email that i could get One of the tattoos shown during the flash sale. I found one that i really wanted. the email and online does not state where ypu can get it, so i was overjoyed when i thought i could get it anywhere. approaching the store , there was a tattoo book which i looked through and was unable to find the tatto that i wanted (which was highlighted in my email and online). There was also a sign that said arms and legs only (which was not stated in my email or online). I spoke to someone who asked the tattoo artist. I was disappointed to hear the tattoo artist say he has no control of what they post online or in emails. He was unwilling to meet my request because it would take too long to print. Eventhough this was no fault of my own. He also did not want to hear that it did not specifically say where i could get one online or in my email. I felt they were very unprofessional and that is not a way to run a business. I stayed in the mall to shop and when I passed by again, he was not doing any tattoos...so you know. She was so helpful and made sure I understood how to care for my conch, and she made sure to explain what was going on during the piercing and made sure I was comfortable. Just came by for daughter's piercing, was told parent needs to have an I.D. As well as minor, any form prior to piercing, when asked the type of I.D. ...school, birth certificate, drivers license- /permit would suffice. Made appt. 45mins.. rushed home to grab her I.D. Make it back in time to be told , now they need "the birth certificate".... WTH... this place has to get on the same page with their employees. Unacceptable! I need to add 5 note starts to this place!! Backstory: I had two cartilage piercings done September of last year at another place and paid a fortune for it. After a few months I ended up with the dreaded piercing bumps that were really painful and annoying. I ended up in Wellington for my son's soccer tournament and we had some time to kill so we went to the mall. I walked into Master Pierce to check out the pricing selection and ask them what I could do about my piercings. Nik Rosa took a look at my ear and explained that they should have never pierced with a hoop as the starter piercing and that my case was salvageable if we switched out the piercing. I was hesitant because I was in so much pain and I had really invested a ton in these piercings and I didn't want to spend anymore (I almost took them out and called it a day). After a couple of minutes I ended up agreeing to get the help and Nik Rosa took me to the back area. The cleanliness of this place is truly impressive. The entire process was pain free to my surprise. Nik talked me through the whole thing to make me feel comfortable. I was soooo relived. Nik told me to come back in 4 weeks to get it checked out and shorten the bar. This place is 1 hour and 20 minutes from my house but I will happily come back as many times as they suggest. My bumps are almost complete gone now. Nik Rosa is absolutely the best!! read more

My daughter got her nose pierced here about a month ago. She's been wanting her nose pierced since she was 13. Even though she's 17 now, I still had to go with her to sign the papers. I'm very happy they do that! It was a Tuesday night so it wasn't busy. We were the only customers there. I appreciated that it was very bright and clean in the shop. While I was reading and signing the papers, my daughter picked out her nose piercing. There was actually a lot to pick from, but she already knew she wanted a small diamond (not real). After the formalities, we were brought in a back room and introduced to Kayla, whom was going to pierce my daughters nose. She explained everything that she was doing, the sterilization process and how to take care of her new piercing. She gave me her card and said if we had any questions or concerns to call her. Again, it's been about a month and my daughter is very happy with her piercing. She had to go back after two weeks just for them to check the healing process and see if the bar needed to be shortened. They pierce with a longer bar for swelling, which is normal. Overall, I am very happy we had her nose pierced here. It was a great experience for her, the shop was clean and the staff are wonderful. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Every-single worker was helpful & extremely well informed about piercing my daughter's nose. This shop is so clean in the store area, and cleaner inside the piercing room. We were guided to what type of nose ring to choose without any pressure to buy something expensive. Once inside, the young man who did the actual piercing was an expert in his job. He double cleaned the area with 2 different cleansers, inside & outside the nose, applied a sterile drape, then went to rewash his hands, applied fresh gloves & performed the procedure like a surgeon. I'm in the medical field so I truly mean this. Within 2 seconds, the nose ring was in without a peep from my girl. I wish I remembered his name because he made the entire experience stress free for us. He was funny & let her hug a Pikachu plush. We were supplied with a cleanser for post-piercing care & told to return in 2 weeks for a recheck. Again, as a parent, I truly recommend this shop (this is for a nose piercing). read more

This shop has some real immature and disrespectful employees. I called about getting a nose piercing done and the lady who answered the phone explained to me why they couldnt do it that day (simply, a no) , in the process of this phone call I plugged my phone into my car accessory and it hungup the phone. Instead of calling back I figured I already got my answer so went about my business, THIS B%#$ called me back with the most DISRESPECTFUL tone of voice coming completley at me from WAYYYY left field, JUST to complain about me supposedly "hanging up" on her while she was "explaining" now holdup.. What kinda business hires someone with such poor manners my main concern was "who tf are you, calling me back to b%^}$ at ME, you are and employee, not someone who has the authority to call a CUSTOMER and speak to me, or anyone that way. One day my husband and I were walking through the mall and had talked about having my ears pierced at one of those Claire's stores but never felt their services were legit so was hesitant. Then we saw this place! We went on a Sunday and there was only one piercer, a male. He was very nice and attentive. He offered some advice as far as the placing of the upper cartilage and with the jewelry. My only complaint would have been that he didn't show me the placing after marking my ears with them until everything was already said and done. I was so nervous and thinking about the pain that I didn't even ask to check. I feel like a good piercer would have asked me if the placement was good and to take a look in the mirror before.
