This helped me in my teen years with self-esteem issues and helped develop my leadership skills in the years to come. Fast forward years later, and nothing has changed. Eddie and Elliott Park continue to carry on the tradition of classic TaeKwonDo training, shaping and developing our future leaders. The masters, instructors and higher belts are very supportive of all level students, regardless of age. The comradery and respect everyone shows each other is genuine, there is without a shadow of a doubt a strong feeling of team spirit and family. My son has earned his black belt and considering returning soon, my daughter enrolled a year ago and absolutely loves it. And I am slowly but surely making my return to the best of my ability at my age to better overall health. He makes every child feel seen and important. He teaches confidence, stranger danger, respecting your family, self defense. You get to watch your child practice these skills through a big wide viewing window. There are benches to sit on. If you have trouble with your back or knees, the benches might be hard to sit on or climb. The place is very accommodating, patient, and friendly. He loves it, I love to watch him love it and learn discipline! He is respectful and and thankful which he has learned through them during and after the class. Instructor Karen was the woman who set us all up and Instructor Saylor is my sons instructor in class. I can see how much they care about the students. I've even heard Instructor Karen speak to a student in such a caring and concerned way, trying to encourage him that he has to take responsibility for his choices to improve-and mostly to believe in himself that he can do it. It was so good to hear her stay so focused on trying to get that message to the student. Instructor Saylor has been amazing and she gently guides some of her young more distracted students back into the lesson (like my son lol). They just seem so caring and true to the students. The my don't allow disrespect and it resonates with the students there to act accordingly. So far I am absolutely happy with my choice to take my son here. Just fantastic.

As he was 7 (at the time, now 8,) we were apprehensive to sign up for a long term (10-12 months) contract ... whist there was a slight increase in the option of going month-by-month, master Seong was gracious and understanding and gave us the time that we needed, in order to make the right (long term) decision for our son. Master Seong is an exceptional teacher and mentor who is fantastic with the children. He not only teaches them the techniques of Tae Kwon Do but also instills important values such as self-respect, boundaries, and confidence. hat sets Master Seong apart from other Tae Kwon Do instructors is his thoughtfulness when it comes to parents and families. He understands that parents often have busy schedules and offers services such as "Parent's Night Out" and special camps for afternoons when school is not in session. What's even more impressive is that he opens these camps up to other kids not registered in his program, showing that he truly cares about the well-being of all children in the community. Champion's locations are, well, just about everywhere... however, it's the person which makes this spot so much better. We could have chosen to enroll our son at a Champions franchise closer to where we live, but the extra few minutes of travel is well worth it to have him work with a teacher and mentor like Master Seong.
